Watching you guys is reality tv as it should be. No script, no drama (visible), no staging crap. Just.... honest.
Thanks Phil that’s very nice of you
Oh sweet sweet Bear 🥰 Such a beautiful doggy soul. I love how you know how he's feeling and just love him and comfort him and he knows you're there and will make him feel loved and safe. I have to admit, I'm a little bit obsessed with you Mr Bear!
Haha he is famous now!
Love the Bear man as well. He's a beautiful dog and so well behaved.
Another great vid guys. I noticed the locks on the RV are a bit sticky, grab yourself a little tube of graphite powder from a hardware shop and squirt a bit in locks and they'll work freely again.
Great advice thank you
You 2 got this!!! Love your channel looks like a well takin care of Rig the outside doesn't matter really cosmetic!! It's the inside and the engine that matters and tires. Love your happiness and your giggles and good humor.❤
Thank you so much.
$70 seems pretty pricey for a propane refill, though I guess it depends on how big your tanks are.
You guys are doing great though! Keep it up! :) RVing tends to have a learning curve that can feel like a punch to the face sometimes, but it is worth it for the memories you make exploring.
If I can make a suggestion.... it would be to make checklists! So you don't have your awning pop open while driving down the highway, or accidentally leave the stove top in the "light" position and fill the trailer (in our case) with propane gas... ha, all things that my wife and I did while RVing.
Great advice!!!
Ahhhh......the part where sweet (really big) Bear reaches up and goes on Mandy's (really small) lap as his home starts moving.......
lol too funny
With every new adventure, plan on some sort of learning curve. Looks like you guys are handling it very well. Look forward to this new chapter in your journey. Loved this first leg! ❤
Thank you so much
Me too. It's more relatable.
Here's a tip for you when using the propane fridge, it takes about 6 to 10hrs for the system working normally to cool the inside, so when you stand there with the doors wide open the fridge won't cool back down for no less than 6hours.
No wonder it isn't working for you, have everything ready to load into it then open the doors for as short of time as possible, the freezer is worse, know what you want and grab it as quickly as possible.
KEEP THE DOORS SHUT!!!!
Sewer rinse hose should never be used to fill the freshwater tank, keep two hoses, one for each purpose and never store them in the same compartment together, you'll end up getting yourself sick.
Watch UA-cam video's about what you're going to do before you do it.
I recommend buying a thermometer to put in your fridge, so that you can be certain that the interior temp stays below 8-10 C.
I was the newbie when my husband traded in his Excursion for a 31ft motorhome. We went out twice before he died of terminal cancer. After that.... well, I went through the learning curve too.
I feel you. He bought it. I had no clue.
I figured it out though.
you're both very much convincing my partner and I that we want this life too. Even if it's hard and you have no money lol Great job on living your real life. Super jelly. Maybe we'll meet on the road one day! Happy travels
Yes it has already thrown up some challenges, but it’s also so much fun! Hopefully you guys get to experience it!
Great... thank you!
Don't know if you noticed yet. On your door where you keep your water hose, there is a silver clip that you can keep the door open.
Travel Safely Guys
Thanks
I'm extra-enjoying this new leg of your adventures. I personally don't like carrying around human waste... many don't seem to mind that part, but if I had to do it, I'd go with woodchips, and forgo a water-based system.
Thank you, we’re just figuring it all out as we go
You guys will figure it out your awesome and I think those wood chip toilet's are very expensive and hard to install..regardless you guys will decide whatever like ❤
Best of luck on your new adventure! So happy for y'all!
I think you’ll be buying a sailboat next lol bear will need a captains hat
He would love boat life
Loving this next part of your travels.
Thank you! It’s definitely a change in pace
Same shi* we had to deal with when we started RVing over 4 years ago. Shi* breaks, new things to learn, and sometimes it's a tad confusing but overall, you guys will be great. Now the question is: do you boondock (BLM Land, Walmart, Dickies, Cracker Barrel, Rest Stops), use campgrounds, or do both? Either way, there are programs like thousand trails and harvest hosts. There are others but these 2 are pretty affordable, and many people use them. The other is one we use sometimes is Hipcamp. Good luck.
Yep we’re already getting better at it, it’s just another challenge. We will do both, boondocking is great but every now and then we will want to stay at a campground for the amenities. Thank you for watching.
RV life can be fun. I did this when I lived in San Diego and we went on trips. Comfortable and waking up to a new place when you want to. Only thing I didn't like was the emptying of the black water. Emptying gray water no problem. We tried to use National and State Park toilets as much as possible when we travelled.. I did love the fact that I could pee during the night in safety of own bathroom. Previously had a tent. Scary in bear or cougar territory. Enjoy your new adventure.
Thank you!
Watch some UA-cam videos. There are many RV people that you can learn from. Also something like a Jackery portable power system would be great for you guys! It can be charged using shore power or solar panels, great for boondocking.
Great video especially " it’s not like the poo's are going in there " ..... LoL !
Cleaning out the dunny is never a picnic-in-the-park whilst using an RV.
Please make certain the hose connections are rock solid, tight!
Peanut butter, banana, and pancakes is a great combination but what takes it over the top is a drizzle of caramel to go along with it. Give it a try, I promise it is amazing!
Sounds awesome!
Please don't give up the R.V. life just yet🙏
I know you two will make it work🤠
Don’t worry we won’t!
Not going to lie: I bust out laughing when I saw the thumbnail for this video! LOL! That face Mandy is making! I have tears in my eyes, laughing so hard!
This makes me so happy thank you!! haha - Mandy x
❤ love it guys !! 🇳🇿👋
Trust in the journey sending love and positive thoughts.❤
Thanks so much
Get T-5 RV Toilet Chemical. We've been using it for 15 years and it's the best for oder and black water breakdown.
Yep we have it too!
Well done keep going
Giving me Robin Williams RV movie vibe with the hose😂😂
Hahahaha
Many Walmarts, Cracker Barrels, in the U.S. and Canada are not allowing overnight camping anymore becuz of guys like the one you met there at Walmart. Overstaying the stay limit and using the parking lot as a campsite has ruined it for everyone. Even some BLM, state & federal parks are either limiting, starting to charge a fee or outright banning camping becuz of pigs who trash these areas, homeless and or influx of RVers. Just found your channel & hope you two have success in rving/caravanning. 😉
That severely sucks!!! Not all people are those people. And BLM is still OUR land.
Don't abuse it. See something, say something.
You guys are amazing! Thank you for sharing your adventures!
Thank you for watching!
Very exciting!
Poor Bear 😢
Lol always poor bear
Refreshing to see more down to earth people on yt!
I was going to recommend Costco for refilling your propane; they are significantly cheaper than everyone else; but I take it your tanks are permanently mounted? I don't know if any of their locations can do anything but portable tanks.
The blender neck looks very narrow, I would imagine it would be very difficult to clean
Believe it or not it’s super simple to clean the bottom is removable
A cordless rechargeable handheld vacuum is an essential part of living in a vehicle with an animal.
Agreed!!
Those pancakes are a masterpiece!
I would LOVE to have an RV to live in. I traveled for 5 months in a 1992 Plymouth Voyager Van and boondocked... As well as stayed in Truck Stops like Pilot and TA. Sometimes I would get a hotel room. This was during the time of the pandemic and I was getting $900 a week so I took advantage of that and traveled all up and down the east coast from North Carolina to Florida to as far North to Indiana and no further west than Colorado/New Mexico. Now I've been settled in my hometown for the last 2 years living in an apartment above a store front on Main Street. Working and that's about it... But 1 day I will get back out and travel again.
Sounds amazing, we want to do the east coast this year. Any recommendations are welcome
Cant beat RV life enjoy guys 👍🏻
Thank you
Your going from the wide open Ocean to a confined container down to the millimeter.... From one extreme to the other......next mix the two......take the RV to the Ocean
That’s the plan!
use your washroom only when you absolutely need to - do not rely on it for handling your waste. only as a back up if Tim Hortons is not around
Oh wow this is going to be an exciting journey, thanks so much for sharing it. Now lets get you some more subscribers so you can make more money from YOuTube. Lloyd's stepfather Ian looks like he has been a lot of help to you. Thanks again for great videos always
Thanks so much Kate! And yes he has for sure
Looks like a great time! We have the same blender, but have to be honest that we mostly use our connected blender unless it's a protein shake of something easy to mix in.
How is it to get visa in Canada for both of you?
We see you mark your songs with a spotify 'tag' - do you use sound from Spotify, and how do you use it without copyright infringement?
Hope you guys have a great time. We dream about getting our own RV travelling through USA in the nearest future 😁 Have thought about the cats in an RV, but seems like your dog is doing just fine so they just have to figure it out 😅
We use all songs from epidemic sound? It’s a subscription platform which gives you rights to use the music, most of the artists also release there music on Spotify as well.
Mandy is Canadian so she doesn’t need one and Lloyd can get a visa very easily being Australian, so it’s pretty good.
Cmon you guys your in Canada, where’s the maple syrup on those pancakes 😊
Lol. Trying to keep it lean
All the good food I watched you two eat in Mexico, now it's Subway and Tim Hortons
Lol
Great as always guys. Hey, to try and help you out in a way I'm able, I even let the you tube placed ads run all the way through. I think that's the only way you can get any revenue to you. Is that correct? If it is, I'll keep doing it and just do something else while those strange ads are playing. 🤘👍
It definitely helps a lot, but it’s up to you if you don’t want to sit through them we don’t blame you! Thanks again Phil
I'm with yas on the chips on subs! And YES....spicy dill pickle ❤
So bloody good!
You three are doing great 🎉
Thank you!
is that Robin Williams in RV?
Oh boy….. that’s all I’m gonna say. Nuff said.
I would love to get an rv but south east asia has no infrastructure to plug in power, water and toilet
you should try and get it to once a week to empty or you will come to hate it.
Where's the maple syrup?
Trying to be healthy, don't need all that sugar in the morning!
So purchasing the RV means you will be traveling Canada and America mostly? I guess you could go all way back to Mexico too, but not overseas.
Yes mostly Canada and U.S. for now and Mexico
Love you guys.
Thank you
I can only imagine how much Bear misses Wilbur!
So much!
Alaska to Argentina is the crown of rv world class is in you plans?😊
Hmmm maybe
Ha
How about a jacket for the dog.
He loves the rain
What no butter and maple syrup??
Healthy pancakes!
@@LloydandMandy got to at least have butter. Unless your vegan. I’m vegetarian, but vegan
@@garyreimer6791 Yep for sure I think you're right about the butter (but we did have peanut butter does that count?)
@@LloydandMandy almost, both is better!!
Boon docking is awesome. BLM land and lots of support by other BD's
Hi love your videos so cool I have a question how long will you stay in Canada ? and if you stay is that your forever home you will one day settle down and buy a house in saying this love your new home so cute xo
We’re not sure yet, we’re gonna take this camper all around Canada and the U.S. first and see as much as we can, we will probably get itchy feet and want to travel again though
@@LloydandMandy Can not forget to pack little me when you do that lol safe travels Hugs to both xo
Y'all look cold! Burr!
Freezing!
Bah nahna 😂
lol Aussie accent
I noticed you have a 444 tattoo. What is the significance to you? I see 444 all the time.
It’s an angel number for protection, that’s a great sign if you see it often, that means your spirit guides are protecting you.
Dogs gunna stink
Yep
@@LloydandMandy youll get used to it
Typical Canadian girl, things don't go the way they think they should or something is difficult for them and all of a sudden it's a mistake.
Did you watch it?
@@LloydandMandy why would I bother watching with a headline like that. I get to see enough crap and negativity I don't need to watch it on youtube
@@moderndaydrifter4672 Lol ok
Lol you're such a shit person.
