@@jenniejames When I was about seven years old, my grandmother let me sew on her non electric, peddle type sewing machine making little bags and Barbie clothes. By the time I got to highschool I was making my own clothes. When my grandmother passed away, we discovered a strip of painter's tape with my name on it stuck to the bottom of the sewing machine. It is my most treasured possession.

Nook that fits the Nalagen - wonderful! We use them and what a pain most of the time, nice to not having them rolling around. Great setup for four people, especially adults and a couple kids. Now from the perspective of someone who camps, hikes in, has done full time RV/Van time the storage setup is an issue. While a beautiful setup it is really just a weekender since there is such limited storage (can fit incredibly limited food, clothing, toys). It isn't one that could be lived in full time unless it was one person and they had a lot of baskets/boxes throughout the interior body. Now with the tow package you can pull a trailer for toys or have hitch storage, bike rack, a hitch storage would help compensate for the lack of interior storage.

I had the thought of doing a bed system like this a few months ago! I hadn’t actually thought about being able to set it up as bunks, more just couch then permanent bed, but that’s such a cool bonus!

I was like it looks like there’s an elevator bed, when you turned the lounge into a bed I said to myself maybe I’m wrong. Then the bed came down and I was like yesssss!! I would really do this style in a van for sure! I need a full bathroom tho. That can be fixed lol

Beautiful design! I love the colour scheme, the lights and the little beautifully rounded nooks on the wall and on the side (fitting a Nalgene bottle - wow!). Why switches and readouts are placed within a cupboard always mystifies me. It is widespread, but you can't really use the cupboard as storage. At least, I wouldn't. It would drive me nuts if I always had to remove what I had stored there to get to the switches.

What I like about it is it would be good for a family. Not much storage but you could have a small trailer for that. Small trips as a family and not cost as much money for a hotel an restaurants. Great ideas you have. Would have loved this when the kids were younger. One thing would be nice is outside lighting and maybe an awning for shade. Also you could do a tub to stand in for shower. So you could bathe the kids more easier. Kids get very dirty at times. Then you could wash clothes easier if you have to. Then you could hang them outside to dry. Good luck!

I absolutely love this van! Personally I would skip the extra seats and lower down bed and add a permanent ahower, but other then that I absolutely love this. The interior decor is stunning! The clay walls, brown seating area and wood all compliment one another so nicely! The touches of the little areas to add plants etc and the lighting really finiah of this design, stunning!

Bro why do Americans use this cheap, soft wood and plywood to build houses and RV's?! Most of the most durable woods are found in South America and yet you guys in U.S specifically choose the worst, lowest quality wood to build your houses and furniture?! Are you guys mentally stable?! Using anything other than Bull Oak, Cherimoya, Ebony, Licaria, Breadnut and similar woods... Hell, even Red Oak and Osage are 10 times better than what you guys are using...

I totally loved the kitchen faucet to just spin it around has got to be convenient especially with the height on it.
Have seen the lift bed in tiny home builds, but never in a van buildout - love it! Also the shower is unique as you have cleverly concealed it and toilet in one boxed counter - great idea! Thanks for sharing and happy trails.

That was the best van OR rv tour I've ever seen in the years I've been watching these things. Besides the awesome design & manifestation of it, your rolling commentary was always coherent, clear, calm and really fun & appealing. And never rushed. Some really great design choices too, like the stucco looking walls and those little arched niches, they give it a nice southwestern feel.
I wish I could afford this because I would almost buy this van as is. The colors, the textures, all of it. But I would ditch the elevator bed because this van would just be for me & my husband (also more headroom). And I'd probably try for a more robust bathroom thing. But those are design choices, not a criticism. Awesome, awesome video guys!! ❤🌴🌺

I love your van! My wife and I have decided to do the U-Lounge idea with the elevator bed for our set up as well, but have never seen it done by anyone! We love the versatility it provides! I also love the rooftop deck! You both did a wonderful job designing the layout and didn't forget to add decor niches and shelves. I love the versatility they offer as well, and how well you incorporated them into your design. We will be traveling with our kitties, so incorporating lookout points and hidey holes that also serve as shelves and storage nooks or other multifunctional pieces (not to mention exercise for them, and entertainment for us) will be a "must have" in our design build. I do like how clean your walls look. Ours will look more cluttered and smaller as our shelves will have to stick out for them to use as steps up to the lookout spaces, but your corner shelves have given me some inspirational ideas (worst case, I'm sure they wouldn't mind a planter of catnip, right?)😉🐾 Thank you for sharing this video and your talent in this thoughtful van design. Keep up the great work, but first, enjoy your time off!

I've been watching a lot of van conversion videos lately and have been making a layout and design in my head. This is almost exactly what was in my head. The only thing I would add is a permanent shower, but that's obviously very much up to personal preference. Perfect video!

Randomly watching like 2 hours of high-end over the top van builds, and then I stumble upon you guys with some really nice innovations not seen in the high dollar builds. Your hinged table that converts perfectly into a secondary bed is brilliant. And I really like your bathroom solution as well. Naysayers can kick rocks. That really leaves things more open and adds a secondary utility when not in use. Bravo! One critique is that I would ditch the secondary van seats for something more homey.. maybe bench seating with underneath storage, but to each their own. Inspirational build!

Some fantastic features. Pop-up shower is fine as people use van parks that have showers etc.
It's very nice! I think I would only add a couple of things. Pull down shades for the windows at night. Some type of screen and shade for the back window. For myself, I've never liked bunk beds. 'Always was afraid of the top bunk crashing onto the bottom. 'Love the shower and commode, and shelf for the water bottle. It's all very well designed and pretty!

I love this build. But I could do without the auto bed and extra seats. If doing this full time, I would want more storage and a larger fridge instead. But absolutely beautiful!

I LOVE Love love this van build!!! All aspects of it! the U-lounge, the happy-jack bed, the shower!!! The one other thing that I've always wanted included in "my" dream van, is a small bench behind the driver's seat ... (facing the opened sliding door). However, I consider you two an awesome duo in the van conversion artistry!!!

This is really pretty and comfortable. I see the pretty little recessed storage areas in the walls and wonder how much other space inside the alls could be used for storage.
Thank you 😊 overall there’s only a few spots that you can really build recessed shelves in, but they do ad a lot of extra storage!

I actually like this shower. It does open the space and allows for more air flow to combat mold.
Love the elevator bed over the seating area.
The seating area that converts to a large bed is a plus.
I personnal would add two things.
A two burner cook top.
And, another Lagoon table up front.

I think all vans should have the elevator bed. It makes it so much roomier.
Really pretty build, the only thing I would be a little worried about is the storage space
One of the challenges of a family van with extra seats is storage, but between the upper cabinets, bench storage, bulk head storage, extra storage above front seats, all of the built in shelves, floor step drawer and beneath & behind the seat, there is a lot more storage than you would think once you’re in there 😊 Also on the roof rack there is space for a Thule box if you wanted as well!
I wish I can hire you guys to built a van just like this one.

love the van, for me would like some upper cupboard safe around the van, also when van side door is open maybe add a screen that would come across to keep bugs out, heated floors, two burner stove??

This is a very nice van. I especially like the fact that he speaks nice and clearly without mumbling. It was easy to hear and understand him. I was going to ask if you guys lived in the van full time and if so, where do you keep your clothes, however, at the end you mentioned that the van is for sale so I’m assuming that you guys don’t live in a van full time; is that correct?

I absolutely love this build. The only realistic 4 person build I have ever seen. EDIT: Surprised you didn't put the table up at the front and leave space below the bed for a bigger garage.

Obviously a gorgeous van. If I had that kind of money, I wouldn’t hesitate. The quality of this build and the van itself together is worth it, IMHO. A dream van for #vanlife.

Beautiful van but I don’t think the lack of an actual bath-room is that nice.
for me I actually appreciate that there is no toilet... more space, no maintenance and locations that I will frequent have hot shower facilities....
They do have an actual bathroom. It has a toilet and a shower. Another sink isn’t really needed. I think they’ve made an awesome home in a very small space.

Actually, I think they’ve made beautiful use of the small space. It’s ingenious to be able to convert a countertop space into a shower room! To have that option in a small-ish van is incredible! Well done guys! 🙌🙌 And Jennie… I LOVE your dress style. Girl after my own heart x

The bathroom situation is absolutely a no no fro me. The rest of the van is lovely, but I wouldn’t be able to get past that.
