It's nice to see you haven't weathered it to the point of "overkill" when they end up looking like the plane has flown through a burning oil refinery or crashed into a swamp full of feces and then flown through a brick wall.
🍻👍 You made me laugh 👍 Well I can't agree with you more! If the AC was in Africa/Pacific etc for a looong periodoftime... I can understand. Thank you!! All the best! Dusan
In my humble opinion the Tempest with it's huge tail still has one of the most beautiful line for a fighter/bomber/attack aircraft....it did a great job and I feel that is a shame that not even one is on the airshow circuits...same goes for the thypoon....many enemies felt the punishment of these tow awesome war planes...
Love the understated music, review of parts, focus on build steps that anyone could follow should they so choose, and no narration. Just model building. Your videos are great. As are your builds. Thank you for the inspiration!!
This is seeing the Hawker Tempest coming alive in front of your eyes, almost hearing the incredible Napier Sabre engine roar into life. Having read Tempest pilot Pierre Closterman’s WW II Novel as a youth this video put me back in the mood. Fantastic airplane. What eye for detail and realism, incredible😃👍🏻
I loved seeing the Eduard Tempest go together so flawlessly in this video and yet on a different UA-cam channel another guy built the Series 1 Tempest and all he did was find every flaw possible and nitpicked it too death.
Thats one thing that really stands out to me about the Eduard stuff. The fit is absolutely top notch when the parts are prepared correctly. To the point that theres almost little to no gap sanding required before paint, at least in comparison to cheaper kits. Cockpits with the photo etch look beautiful oob. Really a joy to build. I've done thier FW190 A5 kit in 1/48 as well as the 109 E-7
I have watched many people on UA-cam assemble and paint various models and they are all very talented (much more so than me), but can I put out a shout for the people who actually designed and produced these kits in the first place? A lot of the time they would only have had photos on which to base the various bits of the kits - now they’re the really cleaver people!
Some small but important detail... If I'm not mistaken, Le Grand Charles (Tempest mk V, JF E) had also the Cross of Lorraine painted on the radiator as a symbol of France Libre - Free French Forces, Clostermann himself, flew for RAF but he was recognized as a french pilot.
Great looking kit and build. The sidewall tubes are definitely fragile, mine were already damaged on the sprue from shipping. Eduard replaced them, but it was an indicator of what to expect.
Dude you just gave me bad flash backs. A month ago i built one and did so much extra work to make a semi boring oob kit nice, was about to apply decals (thats how far in i was) and hung it up for the clear coat to dry when the wire slipped from the clamp and the whole thing went down and shattered into something that resembled a nightmare ;-;
I have to say may friend , after 11 years absence of model building you have peaked my intrest . My woman has just lost her grandfather and father and we are in troubling times, the lockdown doesn't help either. The trumpeter 1:32 p47 it shall be!!!
Wow you sure do a great job. I have just bought myself a new compressor for my airbrush. So I am hoping that I will be able to make my models nice. If I do 1/2 of the job that you do I will be happy.
@@chlopen1 Yes, and that's a glaring omission, Closterman was a Free French serving in a regular unit in the RAF and, as such, it was a very important detail for him.
Dusan, you've perfectly captured the bulldog aggressiveness of this beast! Bravo! You use very light pressure in your airbrush with a narrow spray pattern. Do you ever have problems with premature drying or lack of coverage?
A fine piece of work. It's just a pity that, like other model makers I've watched on UA-cam, no one wants to try the 'white' paint job. The post war bird with rockets looks beautiful.
I love how you start to weather your pieces of art more and more! Your work is absolutely stunning, keep up the good work! ( where is the dora though?)
I haven't build something for a long time. I had a question. Why you glue the fuselage after you taped the two half's together? I used to put the glue to the one half and then put them together.
I don't know how you are so steady with the tweezers. I always feel like a bull running through a china shop. Carnage everywhere! I did hear years ago to have a drink or shot of something before doing stuff like that to help settle you down.

This absolutely made me laugh, even a year later....Thanks for that :P

Clostermanns book, The Big Show, isn’t a novel; it’s a memoir.
Such a brilliant job sir. It is a pleasure to see you at work creating these masterpieces. Awesome.
Thank you! Cheers!
I’ve learned so much by watching your very great videos...
You mr Dusan, are a modelling surgeon....

Kao i obično, praznik za oči. Pozdrav!
Teď Tempest od Eduardu taky stavim. Diky za inspirací 👍 at se daří
Dobré pivo, skvělá práce a krásné letadlo. (Czech Republik)
Very beautiful, old military equipment, it is very interesting to look at it on a reduced scale, as the toy is very beautiful.
A very nice job, doing credit to a very good and mostly forgotten aircraft.
Great build & paint job -truly inspirational to watch
All I can say is wow...that paint job was amazing.
How I would love to possess even a fraction of your skill.Alas I do not, but I hugely enjoy watching your complete 'builds'.
Just relax and try it's not so hard to get there. Thank you!! All the best! Dusan
Very good Dusan.
Great looking kit and build. The sidewall tubes are definitely fragile, mine were already damaged on the sprue from shipping. Eduard replaced them, but it was an indicator of what to expect.
Never built one, Will now. Great Art 🎨 👌 👏 - Detroit
You should do a 1/48 b-17 g. It would be really neat to see one made by a person who has a really high level of skill.

Congratulations! Great job! Beatiful Grand Charles!!!!
Such detail and craftsmanship. Absolutely brilliant.
Modelling seems so easy when watching you video, I've also learnt so much from your inspirational build. Thank you & Keep it up!
Thanks Peter!!
This is on my to buy list. Even more so now that I have seen how good it can turn out.
I just wish that they did the Typhoon as well 😊
Whenever I see a pair of gloves giving the kit a thumbs up, I knew that’s Eduard’s style of video-modeling. Good show!
The men who sacrificed it all that flew these war machines would be proud to see their legacy lives on in these builds..
they didn't f*** around making the Mk.5 Tempest model a beauty. Holy moly, the detail!
It's incredible what a man can achieve in 22 minutes...
Really great Tempest Dusan, the kit from EDUARD is excellent
One of the best you’ve ever built
Wonderfull finish. I wish Eduard made it in 1/72 once.
gadjung they will, it’s just a waiting game
The Airfix 1/72 Typhoon 1b is a great little kit for the money. It may do until Eduard release one.
Wow! Fantastic model and assembly! Very nice to watch.
That was awesome, great video on what is in the box and then the entire build.......
Pfwoar! What can I say. Probably the best I've seen you do. Obviously a great kit but great work too.
Out standing work. Thanks for sharing your talents.
Excellent Dusan!
Absolutely stunning details!! Especially softening the decals. Keep up the awesome videos!
A real pleasure to watch as per usual.
Beautiful model and a joy to watch a master at work.
That's a truly beautiful job there.
Pierre Clostermann 's tempest with 33 kills.Awesome!
Very nice build and great result!
Another masterclass. Awesome video!
Looking forward to flying this soon in the IL2 Sturmovik flight sim. Great work, always a pleasure to watch your videos.
Already tired of Me-262? XD
@@aidenchen1275 Still flying the Yak-1 Series 69 as a mainstay, lol. So many flying scenarios, but the Tempest is a childhood favourite.
A great creation by a great modeller ! No less than perfect.

Thanks for the video. I am lookng to grab one of these kits and you have made up my mind for me! Great job on the paint job btw
Thanks Mark, it's a great kit, just pls clean up the parts (neew series have more micro flash) kit is excellent. All the best for You!
Those add on brassin parts look great, but very expensive for what you get tho. Great job!
I enjoyed every second of this video on a Monday night after a hard day's work. Truly inspiring on many levels. Thank you!
Great build as usual!
An absolute masterpiece as usual ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thanks for sharing your build a friend from Canada Rob ✌
Wonderful work.
Absolutely awesome build video & thanks for sharing.
JF-E was called "Le Grand Charles" by Clossterman, pardon the spelling, I've read his book, "The Big Show! good read
Love this book but i miss the Lorraine Cross on the cooler on this model

@@MrJawa001 yes i remember there is a chapter, where hes mentioned how he painted it, but he didn´t have 33 shot down crosses at this time

Absolutely super work, Dusan!
Thanks. This is sooo much better than kit #11117 which I'm doing a video build of right now.
Hi can I ask why you glue the piece when in the position and not on gluing edge or slot in goes in
A Hell of a modeller, very impressive, and so good to watch.Thank you...
Genuine question , why do a lot of ww2 planes have the yellow leading edge stripes ? Is it to aid ground crew ?? visibility when handling ???
Great kit, great video, great job and plenty of tips along the way - the first of your videos I have seen but not the last!
Muy buen trabajo...!! Felicidades
Which Tempest did you prefer, the Special Hobby 1/32 or the Eduard 1/48. They both look incredible
absolutely gorgeous !
Beautiful work mate! 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻😍😎

Odd camera's filters in the galery part. Awesome job and result, hail to the Eduard.
Très bel hommage à l'auteur du" grand cirque" notre fièreté nationnale ,pierre Clostermann.
You don't scrape the paint where you glue? I thought you always had to to get a good plastic weld?
