They didn't do any security checks of their bags and allowed them to live there comfortably (at least from what we can see on camera) and just wanted them to work for what they have and be happy. Amazing. I think that this was the best transformation cause parents actually showed these kids love instead of coldness and strictness and distance. They opened up to them so that these kids opened up to them back. Loved this episode the most.
i was going to say the same, first thing they always act bewildered at coloured hair and piercings. that doesnt affect anything. then again this is the west still not eastern

He said it himself, wasn't raised with rules and consequences. And the daughter is so right if I was at someone's house and was asked to do something I did it out of respect.
Yeh, I’m the same for both. in my family there isn’t really rules or consequences or chores but sometimes when like, the dishes are dirty I was them, I sweep the floor if it’s dirty or mop it and at my friends they have to wash the dishes every night, I help just cuz it feels wrong if I don’t.
I love this Belize Mum! So strong and smart, simply the best! The Mum and the manager at the Children's home are so wise, completely understanding and so helpful with their words.
It's very sad tbh. No parent has any right to give out many chores to their kids in the first place. The mother should bath her own child and the mother should clean some of the houses. Chores are good but she is really abusing the 18 year old by giving her so many. The 18-year-old also has to focus on school. This is just abusive and sexist that the girl has many chores and the boy only has 2. TBH the whole family should help do the dishes as well
Honestly, the Rosie girl was kinda respectful. She wouldn't give the lady her cigs but when the lady said not to bring them in her house she said fair enough

Damn I just realized , not only are these kids lucky but they are blessed to be with such loving & grounded people . The Perez’s’ could’ve made Rosie change her top AND her piercing , but they didn’t . They could’ve also made the boy (can’t remember his name lol) change his whole swag to be more “masculine” or whatever , but they didn’t . This family took them in as they were & instead of bein aggressive & weird or doin too much , they taught them life lessons , showed them where they come from & how they live in the circumstances that they have . These kids are actually learning in many ways & opening up to the family , I love it . Compared to the other families I’ve seen , This is truly beautiful 💯
These kids need to realize that their parents won't be around forever. I lost my Mom when I was 19 in 2005 and I lost my Dad in 2016. It's really difficult to not have either parent.
Each case is different. Each child and parenting styles. But all got results. Kudos to these people taking time to take these children in and work with.. them. Personally I think adoptive parents are meant to be...
Rosies mom is so precious, you can tell how hurt she was after rosie said she disliked her personality. All she wants is to be friends with her daughter and i can tell its hurting her
The way Calvin treats people is vile, but the thing that made me VERY sad is the fact that he talks to his ADOPTIVE mum like that, his mum took him in and he treats her like that 😡😡😡
Because the boys are meant to do some hard work and heavy lifting instead of house chores that was back in the 50s and 60s but things have changed but still it is good to know both skills housework and outside work
This family was actually so nice. I wouldn't even call them strict. I'd just call them normal, supportive parents who want their children and people around them to be happy. ❤️
Well the cameraman dosent have to snitch during filming as what is filmed will be aired on tv and the internet for the world to see so basically he has snitched with his mouth shut.
My parents used to discipline me and I honestly get why now but I absolutely don’t agree with the Belize mom basically making her daughter the mother of the house.
She isn't a virgin. I think it's incredibly smart the mother is showing her daughter what she's in for if she decides to marry/have kids young. Chances are she has added responsibility because of her choices. No ones kids are perfect. I think this mother sees this and just isn't willing to take the nonsense most kids have these days.
This show was my favourite and I LOVE the mom at the children's home. She's fantastic, professional, knowledgeable and very caring. The producers did an excellent match with the teens and the parents!
" She's 18 and stll living with her parents" ; in the 3rd world if you are still single or jobless ,divorced, your parents'home door is always open to you./.Salutations from Tunisia
For all the teens and kids who watch this show, even though we are far better than most of the kids on this show, we shouldn't compare ourselves to them or use that as an excuse or justification for our behavior. We'd still have to treat our parents with the utmost respect.

But the British Rosie seems like she's trying to work with the family. Seems like Calvin has no respect for anyone including himself
That’s exactly what I thought
Omg lucy is literally GORGEOUS
She sure is.
@@abcz4770 she is 18
Oh ok good
abc z and even if she wasn’t 18, it’s not pedo to say someone is pretty..... okay unless they’re like under 14.
Emma Marshall where I live (USA) you aren’t legal unless 18+ or the Romeo and Juliet rule
“ it’s not like she making us sleep outside” mom calls them and tells them they’ll sleep outside 😂
Plot twist 🤣
The boy is Calvin
@@alisonmoran797 Calviiiin!😂
You don’t see how their family life is behind the scenes...
even though there dad is absent from there lives and dosnt want to take any responsibility
This family was pretty chill all they wanted was no smoking, contributing and respect they didn’t say anything about swearing clothing and piercings
These kids need to realize that their parents won't be around forever. I lost my Mom when I was 19 in 2005 and I lost my Dad in 2016. It's really difficult to not have either parent.
I'm so sorry. I lost my dad in 2018 and I just can't imagine losing my mom!
💔
My condolences 💐
AGREE
I’m so sorry❤️
Am I the only one who wants to see an update on the kids in like 2 years to see if they stuck to changing???
yooof show was aired 10 years ago lol 👀
Even me
Yes!
Me
Yes, your the only one
There are 3 Rosie's in this episode 😂
The British boys mum
I love the Belize Family approach to raising hard working and respectful adults. “We’ve broken wild horses”
"Hi you're beautiful,I love your... Lipstick."
Lol.
💄💄💄💄💄💋💋💋
Hahah okay at least I’m not the only one who peeped that pause a I can’t
You're*
Ah yes I love you are lipstick
This family has been nothing but encouraging and by far the nicest family I have seen on this show.
Each case is different. Each child and parenting styles. But all got results. Kudos to these people taking time to take these children in and work with.. them. Personally I think adoptive parents are meant to be...
"shes gonna take them and destroy then... I'll destroy her" I laughed way to hard😂
Lol
If he destroys her then I will destroy him.
me too hahaha
That was too cheap
Rosies mom is so precious, you can tell how hurt she was after rosie said she disliked her personality. All she wants is to be friends with her daughter and i can tell its hurting her
No one :
Mrs.Rosie:
CALVEEEEEEEENNNN
😂
She almost chased him after that damn cigarette😂😂😂
Brendalee Coc bruh 😂😂😂😂
😜😜😜
🇧🇿🇧🇿🇧🇿🇧🇿🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️
The real daughter of the family was so pretty like whatttt 🤩
Ok so that boy is gorgeous (Not the disrespectful one)..And his sister is so pretty also.
Much appreciated.
I love the mother from Belize in this episode. She is so loving and kind and her voice is so damn musical. I could listen to her *all day* long.
The way Calvin treats people is vile, but the thing that made me VERY sad is the fact that he talks to his ADOPTIVE mum like that, his mum took him in and he treats her like that 😡😡😡
Me too...like do you not have shame....you could have been left
Don't judge things you have never experienced. He doesn't owe her anything in terms of hiding his feelings
Exactly . He should be grateful
The key word might be adoptive.
@@ladyk3540 Calvin has biological parents who gave him up to someone else.
Honestly, I'm more scared of the mothers than the fathers on these-
Ok.
none are scary
IKR
The mom low key intimidates me but the dad not so much
Really annoys me that the female child has to do more chores than the male one...
Because the boys are meant to do some hard work and heavy lifting instead of house chores that was back in the 50s and 60s but things have changed but still it is good to know both skills housework and outside work
I guess that i t is true I never realized
For real though!!! Also the mother paid waay more attention to the guy
Then let her do the building then.
To be fair she is older
I like the idea that you cannot graduate without doing volunteer work.
It's great 👍
“Well don’t take your cigarette in my house PERIOD” tell em mama👏🏽😂
What about withdrawal symptoms?
This family was actually so nice. I wouldn't even call them strict. I'd just call them normal, supportive parents who want their children and people around them to be happy. ❤️
When will Calvin ‘come out’ - when he does, his attitude will change - for the better.
He is directing his confusion outwards as rebellion.
Yup
Why would you presume he needs to "come out". Maybe he's just feminine af
He obviously 🙄 has abandonment issuess.
I almost cried when Calvin bonded with Ethan.
wish the people at my school acted like the camera man Cos he ain’t no snitch
Well the cameraman dosent have to snitch during filming as what is filmed will be aired on tv and the internet for the world to see so basically he has snitched with his mouth shut.
🤣🤣
My parents used to discipline me and I honestly get why now but I absolutely don’t agree with the Belize mom basically making her daughter the mother of the house.
Culture.
She isn't a virgin. I think it's incredibly smart the mother is showing her daughter what she's in for if she decides to marry/have kids young. Chances are she has added responsibility because of her choices. No ones kids are perfect. I think this mother sees this and just isn't willing to take the nonsense most kids have these days.
their daughter was so nice and respectful and smart after the kids were so rude to her mom..... I could never do that but I respect her for that
This show was my favourite and I LOVE the mom at the children's home. She's fantastic, professional, knowledgeable and very caring. The producers did an excellent match with the teens and the parents!
Why are all of the moms on this show teachers😂
Bc teachers teach discipline , most of the time
The strict parents were actually nice just strict when they needed to be
Whistle while you work it makes work much easier to do
Linda Thrall Listen to early 2000s reality TV while you work. Works for me
@@QueenRedRosemary I'm unable to work I'll take your suggestion and put it to work. Can you please tell me the link so I can look it up?
you dont punish someone by making them face their worst fear just because they did something you dont want them to
What i'd love to see is an update video of their lives in 2019.
Darkhan345 me too! Because all of the kids that were on it are definitely adults at this point
Yeah I’d love an update on the families also if they’re still with us
Or just later in general
💯 agreed.. updates.. I binge watch this show.. here in Oregon..USA
Darkhan345 I’d like To see new episodes of this.
I've never seen an episode UK, US, or Australia where the teens don't smoke 😆
The New York episode has no smokers
Those cows are so skinny...
When?
Egg Head 14:43 and 15:59
And that horse is terribly underweight as well, you shouldn't be able to see the tail bone or ribs! 🤢
yes! finally, someone noticed!
sadly that's the norm in poorer countries, they can't feed themselves well enough so the animals also don't get the right amount of food

Um 25 not married and still staying with my mother
Some people think it is weird to live at home at 18, at that age people are not even done with college/uni lol how can they afford living alone
I’m 19, I live in England and still live with my parents. It’s expensive to move out here
The parents oldest daughter is really pretty
I was thinking the same thing! And her curls look so nice despite the weather! (Since heat really does mess with many of our beautiful curls🙄)
I love you Rosey

For all the teens and kids who watch this show, even though we are far better than most of the kids on this show, we shouldn't compare ourselves to them or use that as an excuse or justification for our behavior. We'd still have to treat our parents with the utmost respect.
