The McCormicks are a strict Iowa family who lay down the law both at work and at home. Sean is a police officer who believes in rigid schedules and hard work for his family. Irene is a fitness instructor who instills healthy values in her children. Irene and Sean are role model parents who make every moment count. They believe you get out of life what you put into it, and they put in their all. Zach and Karli are lazy teens who have no direction in their lives. When they enter the McCormick's home, Irene and Sean have their work cut out for them. Can the McCormicks force these teens onto a better path?
The journey of two unruly teens will be documented, as they live under different standards from their families back home, they will be subject to punishment for breaking rules and skipping chores while the strict parents attempt to mend their ways.

My mom is very understanding and i really, really love her, she is such an amazing person.
But my dad is scrary, he hurts me, he beats me sometimes, he calls me fat even if i’m too thin and i don’t eat much.
My mom would leave him, but she thinks i love him, so she lets him hurt me and her. And i’m too scared to even talk to her, all this shit is happening because of me and my scared ass, too anxious to talk to best person i met in my life, my mom.

I agree, she had a balance between fun and work, so that next time you do a work properly , you'll be rewarded unladylike the father, the first thing that annoyed me is that he searched in her stuff, he could have asked his wife to do it, even in police stations the ask females to check female's stuff and same thing for males, he's just controlling and when his daughters hit teenage hood , the system he built will crumble down because it's simply built on rules not reason, I could live with the mom not the dad

I feel like the mother was probably the best person as she was so supportive and was strict but not as controlling as the dad.
I think she might be seriously worried. I can see her sad and frustrated.
I kinda understand Zach he is mad with his mom, and when you start to have someone as strong and strict as they (the McCormic's) , you realize is something you needed.
It is easier to take good decisions when you have someone who guides you through the process

I dont think dad was really that controlling either. He was more firm because that is his tone. But honestly, he never lost control and he approached that boy brilliantly. He knew the boy hated hearing that he is so special. And now he is going to break the ice, break the wall, make him able to feel again. Without even being aggressive.

Okay this is just my opinion on the matter. Have you ever seen your parents disrespect your grandparents? HELL NO THEY'D BE WHIPPPED. Today many teens or even little kids do whatever that want talk the way they want because there's no structure in their lives at all no rules no guidance.
