Mike, as a builder I always pay attention to the trim work. Done right, it is one of the keys to a well received finished home. Your work is absolutely beautiful and very professional. Wish there were more guys like you. Thanks
Gotta say, the respect you have for your audience and the care and creativity that went into this video...well, it’s a breath of fresh air. Thanks for sharing your own project at your own home with us. It came out beautiful.
Love your style. All of it - video, voice, woodworking, life lessons, family. Very endearing and watchable. Thank you for putting in a huge effort to make these special.
I’ve been working on our home for years and now getting to the fine finishes. Your video is outstanding. I learned so many nice tips from you. I love your finish work. You are an excellent teacher. Thank you very much.

You are the definition of a craftsman. Your attention to detail is amazing. And then way you present is great. I find myself entranced the same way I was by Norm Abram and the New Yankee Workshop in my 20's. Thanks for sharing your work and talent.

Cool video. Never thought I'd sit through a 25min video of a room renovation, but you're tips and insight are fantastic. Love your sense of humour too. Shame you didn't have a kumiko panel included!
Thank you. Well I'm glad you did. Quick heads up. I have 4 furniture pieces planned for this room, one of which is a floor standing lamp with some kumiko. I probably won't get to that for a while, but when I do I'll make a video.
Beautiful work! Loved your narration technique, too, and ESPECIALLY your little helper! Would love to see the room after it was completely decorated - drapes, pictures, etc.
I just love watching your project videos. You are the Bob Ross of woodworking, in that you make it look effortless and the whole experience is somehow calming.

Outstanding project Mike! Really like the way the room turned out, looks fantastic. Great video, easy to follow along and understand. Thanks for sharing!

Thank your wife and kids too! Side note, I always laugh at "dislikes" on videos and content that is so very clearly helpful and well thought out and produced and positive. The world we live in where negativity is everywhere we turn, i reckon. Any who, thanks again, Mike!
Thank you very much Seth. Dislikes are a part of the game. I'm with you, if someone puts out an honest video with a fair attempt at creating something useful, I really don't know why anyone would give it a thumbs down. Click bait or bait and switch videos, I can understand that.
What an awesome experience watching a real craftsman at work. The detail and effort were worth everything. So many great tricks and tips. And most of all a extremely enjoyable video. Wish you lived in our area so we could enjoy your work. Thanks for sharing your new dining room. And your beautiful family as well.

Best part of this entire video, with the exception of your excellent work, was the shop helper! Slowly, I am trying to change that and learning little tips like ensuring the joints are even and strong mean a lot to me. Thank you.
Thank you. Same here. The previous home owner was probably 5 beers deep every time he started a project on this house. If I live long enough, I'll get it all fixed.

really thorough and professional job, kudos to you, sir.
