I haven't tried the Vudu Shrimp yet but I've caught fish with the Salt Strong Power Prawns. The new Z Man Prawn Starz look pretty good and I just got a pack to try tomorrow morning.
@@TimeOnTheWaterFishing I tried one yesterday under a popping cork for about 10 minutes and I caught a little trout. But it was so windy it wasn't fun so I gave up. It was still too windy for the prawn today so I used regular jig heads and soft plastics and caught a bunch of small trout.
Nice yellow mouths on the softies.....With all that grass you might try a weedless set up with say 5" paddletails.....Top water won't work and suspending twitch baits will get hung up as well.....😎🎣
@@TimeOnTheWaterFishing.....Yep that's the drawback with weedless but because I flip over mostly rock I use a Texas Style rig with a 1/32 oz bullet on my leader to slow the drop......😎
@@TimeOnTheWaterFishingyes a lot of bass stuff works for redfish. Spinnerbaits are good, chatterbaits work, underspinner jig heads work with paddle tails, and I think almost any creature bait should work if it smells good to the fish. Strike King Redfish Magic spinnerbaits are like spinnerbaits for bass but you can change the jig head. Z Man has one like that too. You can have a spinnerbait with any soft plastic on a jig head. Catching fish is mostly about finding them.

Nice! Let me know how they work. Thanks for watching!

@comfortablynumb9342 yea the wind has been bad here as well.

If the grass keeps up I may have to. I got some of the Zman stuff I can go weedless with but seems like I miss more with them.

I cut my teeth on the Texas rig in the freshwater. I have often wondered if some of the freshwater bass stuff would work for reds.
