Hey thanks for watching! No I didn’t get the power tilt or trim because I wanted to keep it as lite as possible. Same for the jack plate I wanted something lite so I could run in shallow water during lower tides.

Thanks for watching! Yea they look a little suspect, I mainly used them to keep it in place until I bolted the motor to the jack plate. They have not budged so o figured it wouldn’t hurt to leave em on.

It’s a Solas prop, I got it from my Yamaha dealer but am pretty sure you can get them online. It’s a 4 blade it really doesn’t have the pitch on the prop all it says is YB 45 12. Hope that helps.

Sorry for the late response! It’s a Minnkota 55lb thrust. It’s been painted to kinda match the camo of the boat. Do a little duck hunting out of it so that Saltwater Minnkota white had to go. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching. Don’t think that what it was, if there was a trap there at low tide everything in it would die due to lack of water, it’s only a few feet deep there and not a trap in sight. It’s a fairly common route for kayakers and close to a beach. It was just trash in the mangroves.

Right on. I’m thinking about putting a 25 Yamaha on a 14x48 county line. Hopefully it’s not too much motor… your boat looked similar.

I always say if you can get the most powerful motor you can, get it. There will come a time when the extra power will come in handy and if you don’t need it all the time just at half throttle or so that what’s I do when I am by myself, but the extra power comes in handy when you have extra passengers or weight.
