Andre had some amazing matches in Japan against Stan Hansen. I remember in one of their matches Andre sold Stan's lariat so well. Stan ran through and hit the lariat he went through the middle ropes straight to the floor. The crowd went mad for that as Andre being so huge and larger than life never sold like that. The lariat was so massively over already but for Stan to send The Giant flying out of the ring took it to another level.
Watching Bret choke up at the end when he found out that it was Andre who wanted to wrestle him was touching. You can tell that Bret is deeply honored.
I’ve heard Terry, Jake, Vince, and Bret of course talk about Andre, amongst others. Everyone starts getting choked up. Everyone. Andre truly must have been a once in a generation man.
people knock em on em for talking about himself a lot ..but he really was one of the best and he's one of the few who are fully aware of it. What he did was truly an art form. anyone who does anything in that fashion, isn't well liked by a lot..but you will respect em
He has brain damage. People seem to forget he has a major brain injury. Giving him a hard time about being negative or having a bad attitude is just pure ignorance.
The man’s personal losses are comparable with the Von-Erics. The fact he’s not at Jeff Hardy-level addiction just to not feel all that loss is a testament to his character and resiliency.
If you respected the business, Andre respected you, and it was a true honor. I'm sure Andre saw the love and care Bret had (still has) for the business and knew that it would be a good match.
Andrea was a true man to the business and was who he was. I love he was real. If you were his friend he was there to the end but if he didnt like you ,and with good reasons, stay out of his way
By then he must have been close to 500. Earlier when he was younger and in better shape 400. The net says 520 but IDK how accurate it is. He couldn't just step on a reg scale.
Let me guess what he’s going to say “Andre was a great wrestler who helped the younger guys… and then out of nowhere Goldberg showed up and kicked me in the head”
@@ellenripley4640 no , not Bill lol. I guess Whoopi quit after she lost the WCCW belt in the early 70's. Havent seen her wrestle since. So you might be correct.
Who was Andres best matchup?
Let us know what you think!

For me just on spectacle alone it’s Wrestlemania 3.

@@NickWixx Yes! Thank you!
It's an interview. That's his job now to talk about himself and his past. PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT. Hitman #1😎

Love this man for all the things he did for us. Thank you Bret. Stu is proud!
Read Bret's book. Could listen to him talk for days. Hes the 🐐 in my eyes.
I agree 💯%
Great to hear Brets stories! Greetings from Germany! Started seeing WWF in 1984 already....
Honestly, of all the hilarious Andre the Giant stories this was one of the best. WWF as it was called was very fortunate to have them both.
Peace to the fallen, a true legend and icon, Andre.

Andre’s most challenging opponent was everywhere that wasn’t his farm
Bret is a real one. Alberta proud.
This man has all the stories. Love listening to him speak.
I don't care what anyone says. The Harts are the first family of wrestling. 👍
Brett Hart does great interviews. He should do a podcast.
Brett: Andre. You big as fuk. What are we doing.
To find out that you were on Andre’s bucket list?? What an honor! 🥰
Bret Wears his Heart on his Sleeve, as he Tells the Stories of his in Ring Career Very Well!!

His name was Andre.
Bret is the best of all time.
The guy took his line of work very seriously. You have to respect it.
Great story 🥺
Bret joked about it once, but he and Andre really could have been a powerful team, even if just for a short period.
This shows just how professional Andre really was. Great Story! 😁
Bret still one of the best wrestlers
His matches were always good
He put his heart into it
Which is why he hated others that didn’t
Andre VS Paul Buttress was cool.
Andre definitely on my Mt. Rushmore
Andre was huge and french. Big red wine would be normal
Weird choice of title for this video?!?
Martin.
"I'm the best there is, the best there was and now, I'm a miserable old man"..
no different than wrestling the bear under the porch he used to feed ice cream
HOW MUCH DID ANDRE WEIGH ?*

When he died he was easy 600 lbs.

Starts the interviewing saying he never wrestled Andre, spends the whole interview talking about the one singles match he had with Andre 🤷♂
he sort of told it in an odd way ,. I think he meant to say he hasn't wrestled Andrea uo until that point. but I had heard it in the same way you did.
Bret is just an insufferable complaaaaaaainer ayh?
Brainless comment .
Did André ever wrestled Goldberg?
Not sure whether you are referring to Bill Goldberg or Whoopi Goldberg, because neither of them were professional wrestlers during Andre's lifetime.

Do you think he could have gotten Andre in the Jackhammer?
@@highenergy8281hell no
@@Richard_dicky_Johnson Imagine Goldberg Jackhammering Giant Gonzales, and Gonzales keeping his legs straight in the air for about 5 seconds.
