THANK YOU. My brain doesn't let me stop downloading mods (my PC version is unplayable and I refuse to fix it or have less mods) but having a comprehensible list from you is something I can adhere to. This literally made my day. I appreciate you bruh!
This is why I have a love-hate relationship with Skyrim. You probably just have outdated mods as utility mods *(and occasionally other mods)* will break when Skyrim receives any update. Or there could be some weird conflict, missing files, or maybe you just looked at it funny one time. Conflicts often happen when you install mods later and are missing the patch for it from an earlier mod that you've installed. But it's worth it when you just reset everything and build up your mod list from scratch.
I feel that last night I finally said fuck it and watch zero peiord production video on his Skyrim mod list perfect for a base and I’ve only added a few adjustments so I’m hoping it runs better I’ve been moding for years but here is hoping this satisfies me
Its also matters alot on what the mod "load order" is... the graphics mods need to be at the top of the load order, while the character mods are at the bottom, and then extra addons are at the bottom.
I just started playing Skyrim again it’s been like 8-10 years but I’m having a blast and with these mods it’s like never before but the multi rings is so clutch !

Forget everything else, ORDINATOR. That mod is so damn good. The new parks are actually worthwhile unlike the originals, makes the game so much more fun. Must have.
@@dontblink8397 Skyrim is pretty easy on legendary anyway if you know what you're doing, but I played a spell blade, and it was awesome. Casting a fireball when you power attack is so cool XD
Those are some good mods. My only thing to add is maybe check sunhelm for eating, sleeping, warmth and dampness. It's newer than frostfall and uses fewer scripts saving you save bloat.
I just installed the nolvus mod pack a few days ago. It’s a compilation of over 2000 mods that all work together. 329gb and it looks and feels beautiful on my pc.
Bro I watch this man’s video, and I come to the comments seeing so many other skyrim fans sharing their fav mods. Legit love skyrim fan base and community.

Just a few more Parthunax Dilemma, trade and barter, diverce races, solitude docks or solitue enhanced, all the " jk "city overhauls, better doors, more rings, pitfight , ultimate Combat, Flora overhaul , climates of tamriel, immersive patrols, civil war, run for your lives , dragontooth..
Hmmm I rock cheat terminal (obviously), combined arms, sig mcx, drivable semi (I’m not quite sure what the mod is actually called but reply to this if you’re interested and I’ll check when I have time). There’s others I have on right now and some that I wish I had but I have a shared console so we don’t really use too many mods that we don’t both agree on.
Sacrosanct is one of my favorites. It changes up Vampires and gives you Blood Magic, which is badass. Combo that with Ordinator and your Destruction Perks can really empower the BLOOD! Made by the same Modder.
Remiel companion. One of the most in depth companion mods i've had. If you get Auri Song of Green companion mod the two girls interact and talk to eachother.
I’d also suggest downloading the companion mods inigo and lucian to spice up your game since the companion are smart and react to the story making Skyrim feel better
There's a mod that allows for smelting pots, weapons, and loads of stuff to get ingots. Ars Metallica is the best one I know. Very useful. Very handy. Also, I personally like Sacrosanct and Growl as a vampirism and werewolf overhaul, respectively. Sacrosanct adds a lot of emphasis on growing exponentially in power and Growl allows ya to open doors, use containers, pick locks, and revert at will. Being a vampire or werewolf is crazy fun with those mods, and since they're both made by the same guy, they are decently balanced against each other. "No BS AI dodge" is great if you don't want enemies to magically dodge arrows. Just straight up deactivates that 6th sense. It was kinda dumb to have enemies cheat stealth like that. Even better when paired with combat AI mods to make enemies smarter; makes it feel moderately challenging, but fair. "No Disarm (Unequip Instead)" is great for dealing with draugr that like to delete your weapons. I have PTSD from draugr overlords in vanilla Skyrim because of this, from losing my gear because they clipped out of existence when disarmed.
Yes and no, he's listed very popular mods and there are quality things in there but some of those mods come with a lot of baggage (And I'm not just talking about CBBE!) RW2 needs patched the hell out of, as does ELFX. The latter is also notoriously glitchy and can cause a number of issues that include flickering lights. The appearance texture mods mentioned can sometimes cause the grey-face bug. Skeleton overhauls need patched the hell out of, Old Kingdom needs patches for CBBE to work, for example. This collection of mods may well just break your game and cause more issues than they solve. Simplicity is king when messing with mods.
Another mod that I really like is wyrmstooth because it add's a large island and a few quest to go and if you explore you can find interesting things like a wagon wheel shield.
I'd like a mod where through alchemy you can make skooma, but I don't know If that exists. Just that you have moon sugar as an alchemy ingredient, it's right there.
Rigmor series if you want your playable character to become emperor. Start with Rigmor of Bruma which is the first chapter, then Rigmor of Cyrodiil, and they are still working on Rigmor of Tamriel. Only good mod so far that actually has a decent story that lets you go to the imperial city.
if you dont want to use alternate start, use realm of lorkhan, it gives SO many more options for character creation and generally feels a lot better for making new characters since there are options for -classes -boons/curses -join misc factions like forsworn or draugr -standing stones and statues of the divines (great for playing with wintersun) -small amount of gold to start and some vendors to buy a small amount of items for starting your character -a ton of unique starting locations (including blackreach which was really fun when i started there) and probably a lot of other things i forgot about
some other personal favorite mods i use are -Divergence (retextures all weapons and armors from base game AND all anniversary edition content) -GDB's the revenge (overhauls pretty much everything in combat, adds new animations for interacting with basically everything in the game -Scales Like Broadswords (makes dragons actually fun and somewhat to fight) -Morrowloot Ultimate (makes good loot and items a lot rarer and harder to get but significantly more powerful, makes enemies have certain levels instead of always scaling with the players, add old artifacts from past es games, etc) -Know Your Enemy AIO (adds resistances and weaknesses to yourself and enemies based on enemy/creature type, weapon or spell type used against them, what armor theyre wearing, etc -Nordic Ui, Oblivion Interaction Icons, and TESG Loadscreen Replacer (grouped all these together because theyre probably my favorite combination of UI mods) -Refined Artifacts- (changes stats of basically every unique weapon in the game to be more powerful or have new effects to make them worth the effort to get and not just something you replace immediately after getting) and probably a lot more but i could genuinely be here for several hours just recommending mods and its already 2am lmao
For armor redesigns, I prefer the NordWarAU series. He makes some of the best armor redesigns in the community and the file sizes aren't absurdly large. For weather I like obsidian weather's, it's like a weather mod with a touch of enb elements but is obviously not an enb.
conquest of skyrim is a mod on xbox that stops you from 20% of the main quest and civil war questline but it lets you lead a faction and conquer skyrim for yourself
@@fixitfeilix5051 I don't see how unofficial patch shouldn't be in the base game. It's like one of the most important. A few of the mods I use require it, including alternate start.
One of my favorite mods i ever used on Xbox was the ‘Konahrik’s Accoutrements’ mod, it gave sick robes that matched with each of the dragon priest masks
Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim Amazing Follower Tweaks These are my two favorites, glad you mentioned Ordinator, it’s a really fun addition to the already solid perks of Skyrim, but with much more and unique perks.
Great list! Only one I don't use (which cones back to bite me at times) is CBBE. It works especially well in Fallout when the lack of CBBE makes some folks have weird looking skin, like bomb scars.
All the mods made by the guy who made ordinator are fire. Super good mods that add a ton of stuff. For story mods, Legacy of the Dragonborn. I know people say DLC sized mods all the time but legit, that ones just a DLC. Best mod Ive ever played hands down.
I enjoyed my Adamant/Mysticism/Thaumagurgy playthrough. Vokrii is also good. Both Adamant and Vokrii preserve a lot more of the base experience than Ordinator, IMO.
I like the vampire lord flying mod, enhanced vampire appearances, and the “vampire no sun damage mod - cloaks helmets and hoods” when I play a vampire character, if you have wings you should be able to use them, and no sun damage when you cover up just makes sense to me (I also like mods that give the Dragonborn dragon characteristics but that’s just an aesthetic choice on my part)
Alternate start is the best and only mod i really like. "Approach my child, and choose where a new life shall begin.." its the perfect starting for a tes game, you choosing

For armor redesigns, I prefer the NordWarAU series. He makes some of the best armor redesigns in the community and the file sizes aren't absurdly large. For weather I like obsidian weather's, it's like a weather mod with a touch of enb elements but is obviously not an enb.
Make sure that you downloaded the compatibility patch for Ordinator and Apocalypse.
There's a mod where it already combines the two
@@Blade_of_Violet_Chaosthe patch is like 10kb 😅
@@leonidasvonsparta yeah, but now I don't have to worry about load order
Damn can't believe he just dropped 5% of my mod folder.
lol
What is your full list then I’m despaired to find some more good mods
I agree completely with this on the ones I've used. They make the game more interesting and a lot more fun. They're great for PC too
conquest of skyrim is a mod on xbox that stops you from 20% of the main quest and civil war questline but it lets you lead a faction and conquer skyrim for yourself
At this point, those mods should be in the base game.
Except the unofficial patch
@@fixitfeilix5051 I don't see how unofficial patch shouldn't be in the base game. It's like one of the most important. A few of the mods I use require it, including alternate start.
@@m0d993 Because unofficial patch makes questionable decisions. Sometimes it patches what others view as actual features.
@@fixitfeilix5051 or just people using the bugs Bethesdas too useless to even see
I love this man, a true Dragonborn
One of my favorite mods i ever used on Xbox was the ‘Konahrik’s Accoutrements’ mod, it gave sick robes that matched with each of the dragon priest masks
Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim
Amazing Follower Tweaks
These are my two favorites, glad you mentioned Ordinator, it’s a really fun addition to the already solid perks of Skyrim, but with much more and unique perks.
Let's not forget Inigo the brave!
Is Inigo on xbox???
Every mod you mentioned has been in my mod lists for years! A true skyrim expert
Great list! Only one I don't use (which cones back to bite me at times) is CBBE. It works especially well in Fallout when the lack of CBBE makes some folks have weird looking skin, like bomb scars.
As a person who has spent a few hundred ours modding and correcting my Skyrim mods. This is a BEAUTIFUL list of must haves
This mod list is an absolute banger must haves. Dude really know his stuff
Eh. Not perfect but has potential.
@@HereComeTheTrainComingBluescringe, go touch some grass
@@matthewgay8867 You alright, dude?
I like the vampire lord flying mod, enhanced vampire appearances, and the “vampire no sun damage mod - cloaks helmets and hoods” when I play a vampire character, if you have wings you should be able to use them, and no sun damage when you cover up just makes sense to me (I also like mods that give the Dragonborn dragon characteristics but that’s just an aesthetic choice on my part)
Literally just explained my Skyrim mod list every 4 months I decide I wanna play it through again with mods.
This is getting its own playlist
I’d use USSEP if it’s file size wasn’t so large.
I feel that and respect it.
Its bad and you shouldnt use it anyways
He mentioned a lot of good ones that I use myself
I CANNOT RECOMMEND THE “INIGO” MOD ENOUGH! Hes the best blue boi in the world and i love him hes awesome
You earned a loyal subscriber 👑
You are a saint, THANK YOU
Do not forget Inigo. Never forget it inigo! He makes the games so much better!
Alternate start is the best and only mod i really like. "Approach my child, and choose where a new life shall begin.." its the perfect starting for a tes game, you choosing
Gonna need a written version of this for a ss later.
I'm not even kidding, your line up is word for word my line up lmao
I don't even care how old this is, this needs to be an official list. 🎉
Homie is naming all the god tier immersion mods
Solid list. That's the bare minimum to bring the game to the 2020s. Have you played Skyrim VR? Shit is pretty awesome with mods
Thank you.. my first time modding Skyrim it’s been awesome
This short is a godsend and it eluded me for hours now i have skyrim reinstalled, finally i can mod
Man console mods are so lacking. I need that mod that changes the leveling and xp system to fallout style
My PC list changes Skyrim entirely, the Xbox list changes it to to be more interesting
If anyone wants to be a necromancer i suggest
lichdom
Dark arts
And ordinator
Alternate start is a life saver
I haven't played Skyrim in years and I remember using these exact same mods.
i need this list written somewhere
Me playing on my xbox360 💀
DAYM💀
I used to play 360 version for hours
