Nah. If it wasn't Hitler, it would have been someone else. Maybe someone worse. And that would be pretty terrible if someone with more military wisdom was the someone else. Hitler and WW2 are both WW1 consequences. Lowering the price Germany had to pay would have probably prevented both. The treaty was too harsh on Germany and that leaded to WW2 and thus to Hitler. If you truly want to alter history for probably the better, I think you should prevent Ferdinand's assassination. Also, it's horrible to say, but war is good for science and medicine because ethics tends to disappears in war times.

It was also his experience in world War 1 and Germany's economy and struggle after world War 1. It was also his experience in world War 1 and Germany's economy and struggle after world War 1.
