    Congratulations to you all.
    Now that you have an infant, it would be interesting to see the reviews containing how suitable the cars are through a family perspective.
    For example, does the stroller fit in the car, how easy is it to fit the baby seat etc. How does the extra weight effect on the range.
    I'll look forward to see the coming videos ☺️
    Congratulations once again👶
    Ps. Will you get an EV with V2L to be able to charge the stroller?

  • @saschadri
    @saschadri 2 роки тому +11

    Had this, it was pretty useless. The stroller thought I needed more power when I was pushing it up a set of stairs, didn't end so well. Plus the rubber wheels are quite useless in any rough terrain (which is where you would need the power). Lesson I learned: Always go for strollers with air wheels. More comfortable for the child and very easy to push, no need for a motor.

    • @markus4979
      @markus4979 10 місяців тому

      Great practical feedback, thanks for sharing. Although I can see that it would make sense to disable the push support when pushing stairs as this not the usual type of activity, I wonder if you tried pulling it backwards especially since it has larger wheels on the back, whether this would work smoother? (It even has a 2wheel pull mode i.e. for on the beach in case you didn't know).
      The wheels is an interesting comment as I heard another good review that points out the fact that this is a city stroller first, thus may not last as long, and so I can see that they just added a motor to that regular stroller as opposed to designing just for that. I wonder why they wouldn't simply provide better wheels then, perhaps to keep weight as low as much as possible. Just curious, did you feel no difference in terms of an easier push with motor assist on straight level especially with shopping?

    When I was a little baby, the stroller I used was the same one that my grand-grand-father used, and also used by my mother's family. Four simple wheels; made of cloth, wood and some metal; not designed for cars, etc. Incredible how things have changed.
    Congrats on your daughter.

    Congratulations again, and it's fun to see DaddyBjorn content! I have two children, so I can't speak to larger families, but when we had our first, we bought whatever baby gear, and just went to town. Then, when we had our second, we needed to think much more about our family and our vehicles. It turns out that it's not so easy to fit two kids and an adult in the backseat of many vehicles. And while size doesn't really matter with baby gear for one kid, it can start to matter a lot once you have more. Just some food for thought in your reviews etc. The Car Seat Lady gave me lots to think about when we were planning for our second.

    "Start Rocking!" heck yeah! 😄I also remember how the first child gets all the top-of-the-line goodies and gadgets, way over the top of what she or you (the parents) really even need. The baby gear shops are good at selling this, that and the other thing to first time parents ("it's a must-have!"), just beware. The second child then... mostly gets just second-hand gear from the first, or from flea markets or such, because it would be just way too expensive to buy all this stuff new again.

    Finally, might now be someone who will do proper baby-stuff tests like fitting rear-facing car seats. Its amazing how many cars become 1 seaters with those things. Especially if you are both tall. In our mazda the rear facing seat meant my wife couldn't sit comfortably in the front passenger seat; her knees would press into the dash. And she couldn't sit behind me driving either because of where I need the seat position to fit behind the wheel.

    I just bought this a couple weeks ago and I was thinking that you should test it. Funny that you were on the same page! Did you buy the cybex cloud q car seat that can sit on the e priam too? I would also like to see the cold range of the e priam during snowing months, I bought the front ski attachments for winter snowy walks.
    I also realize it doesn’t fold as well when the seat pack is facing you. I hope this fits in our Tesla model 3.

    Oh wow, the things for sale now. Making something already very expensive even more expensive and heavier. Looking forward to hearing your experience with it. I wonder what it will re-sell for... What will the price in kr/km be..? Will you make a degradation test in a year or so once you have moved on to a buggy?
    Here's a bit of citizens advice. All the shops love to sell you an expensive travel system and tell you how it will last for however many years while in reality you'll only use it for about one year (In Isabels case it might be longer as she is premature). They'll grow out of the carry cot after a few months. The car seat will have to be replaced to something bigger within a year. When you have finished using the pushchair part of the travel system facing you as they now want to face forward you realise it is just silly to drag around a relatively huge and heavy chassis in narrow stores and lifting in and out of the boot of your car so you move on to a smaller, nimbler buggy. If you don't plan on having any more kids your shiny travel system that brand new cost more than a used small car is now, after about a year, just taking up space at home and re-selling for a fraction of the price (1/10th of new price is not uncommon where I live and what I payed for ours) despite still being in pristine condition as it has barely been used. They are all designed so you can take off fabrics and wash them. So if you want to save tons of money, buy one of those pristine used travel systems to start with and spend the cash you saved on the next car seat up and on a good buggy. They will be the workhorses for several years and cost a lot less brand new. Pristine used ones of those for a good price are also very hard to find as they will live a hard life filled with humans that don't just sit still in them.
