Rian Cloete you really think he knew where his daughter was? They had search teams. They couldn’t find them. If you’re talking about where she was after they found her then you’re oblivious. He can’t just go in the facility and take her. Like are you a 4 year old? Because you clearly don’t have a brain.
she was taken from her parent, locked up in a tiny place, not allowed to go outside, not allowed friends, not allowed to go to School and she was abused. does that not sound like kidnapping you People?
Well it's different when your own parent kidnaps you after a divorce case gone wrong, from a stranger who kidnaps you, abuses you, kills you. They're different kinds of victims and they have different traumas from these facts. She still was with her mother. She might have had issues with the father but obviously she meant no harm to her child.
KK Lakshmi sounds like she is not happy. She loves her mother. This person, whom she does not know, took her away from her mother. She is most likely upset and confused.

My mother kidnapped my brother (3 years old) and me (8 years old) in 1969, took us around South America and we finally settled in Argentina. My brother and I finally found my dad in April 1991 and moved back that same year. Our reunion was emotional for everyone! All those years he did not know if we were dead or alive.
So sad he missed out on all those years and even though she is back, he has lost his little girl forever. No parent should ever keep the children away from the other unless there is a danger to the children.

@James Bond Sorry. Women like that make us all look bad. Hope it worked out for you. Hope your second was/is better.
Yes and people need to be honest with themselves and accept who a person is when they shows you who they really are and don't make excuses for their actions like I did. And don't get emotionally involved with people to soon. Think with your mind not your heart.
Exactly right. Way too many people ignore signals and warnings because they are too infatuated with the person. Put it all aside and think logically- not just emotionally. Make sure you see yourself being able to deal with this person 10-20yrs down the track.
Ehhh I beg to differ a bit. Sometimes theirs not always signs in the beginning. You have have kids with someone, marry someone and at some point down the line things can change after the fact
Waiting till you’re old enough to recognize red flags? I’m sorry but age has nothing to do with recognizing red flags. And you’re not always going to recognize them. Theirs no guarantee even when you think their might not be any. Look at the iceman. His family had no idea and their kids from their saying had a good childhood. But guess what he was still going out killing people like it was a another walk in the park. I think if people had the ability to know beforehand whether marrying them, having kids with them, dating them etc that they’re actually crazy they would think twice. But like I said theirs no way of 100% knowing or seeing the signs at the end of the day it’s a gamble.
Yeah I’d imagine she started to piece things together as she got older... especially if she had any memories of her father being gentle and kind & her mother was describing him as an abusive addict or something (cause he said she’s been turned against him so who knows what was said)... plus of course even when you’re “used to”abuse.... when it’s THAT bad (locked away,no school, no friends etc) you can tell something is wrong just by ever seeing a tv show, or even seeing the way other people act. Plus they said there were some failed attempts to rescue her so even if her mom made something up she at least knew they were on the run from the cops for some reason. Regardless though if her mother is all she knows it’s understandable she would love and care for her abuse or not. Such a sad story.
I went and read an article on this story and I read that the mom lied to Sabrina and told her that her dad didn’t want her and committed suicide and that both of her grandparents on her dads side were dead so when she got back to the US she refused to see him. They said that she’s under the care of a therapist who is helping her get through this. The article was from 2014 so I don’t know how they are now but I hope they got to reunite.

She was with her mom. What trauma? The dad is just hoping she was experiencing trauma so that she’ll be happy to live with him now. But realistically the daughter will hate him for having her mom out in jail and will probably leave as soon as she turns 18.
@@tabbijoy6448 Her mom didn't have custody of her for a reason. She took her and held her hostage in a tiny apartment and she was not allowed to go to school or have friends. Her mother lied to her and told her that her father committed suicide b/c he didn't care about her and she told her that the rest of her family was dead. That is abusive and traumatizing. Obviously the mother has mental issues so no telling what else this girl has endured.

She didn't even care about Sabrina in the first place. All she cared about was getting back at Sabrina's father because he had someone that she didn't have.
The idea that it is even possible to "kidnap" your own biological child is Pure 100% Bull Shit. Here in CA, this type of "parental kidnapping" law was enacted in the mid-1970's and it only became the law because family courts became too overcrowded with these types of entrenched custody battles. This "parental kidnapping" law here in CA had NOTHING At All to do with the fitness of either parent. It's purpose was to make life easier for Family Courts, and NOTHING Else. So just to make it more "convenient" for government "pencil pushers", biological parents of their own biological children became criminals. God Bless America !!! The Land Where You Can End Up In Prison For Just For Wanting To Be With Your Own Child !!! Ain't Democracy just swell ? ... jkulik919@gmail.com
But you would survive, the child is free to look for you at 18, you can certainly try to keep tabs on them, and the courts arent helping reunite anyone either way so dont be the one who involves them.
@@cconroy1677 Free to look for a parent - a parent the other parent may have told the child was dead, the other parent who the child may have been told didn't want her? “The internet never forgets” - but sometimes. ..... it really should. This was in my recommended. Why i have no idea. - but this is an old case, and there is a fair chance that this - now woman - want to have a life, without being “the kidnapped Girl” - and as long as people she meet will see this fortage and hear this and see pictures, - she will never get past this. - or have a choice in who and when she tells people.
She doesn't know any better! Doubt she ever knew her father. Probably considers herself as a Mexican and would want to go back. These were her formative years.
It's utterly disgusting to read comments of people downgrade this situation. The mother did not have legal custody of her. The parent that was ruled fit to take care of her was deprived of seeing his child for 12 years. The mother neglected her child by depriving her of an education and keeping her locked up in a apartment. You can't just brush it off and say "oh it's not that bad" or "it's not a real kidnapping"
Also, it's possible that the mother exposed her to criminal elements in Mexico in order to make a living for the two of them. And when she was old enough (not that old to some "clients") they may have forced her into prostitution. Unless there's a followup news story, we don't know. It's hard to imagine what kind of LEGAL employment her mother may have qualified for (especially given her own mental condition) in a foreign country. Mexicans don't like illegal aliens stealing THEIR jobs either! So she must have been doing SOMETHING illegal to support them.
@@allanrichardson1468 may may may ...can we speculated same way about you? U may how udoing things to survive and how u may be living and how you may be treating girls and people. What's with all the people in the comments saying, "oh she was just with her mother". Seriously a kidnapping is still a damn kidnapping. Just because she was with her mother doesn't mean she was not abused. Seriously, holy hell people.
wolf amoung us Have you seen the other kidnappings on youtube. Most of the kids end up dead after being raped or molested, put in a dungeon. At least she's alive although I don't consone ut at all.
Or he was doing worse.. Notice he said I'm going to ask her if I can give her a hug" That's just an odd remark from a parent. You wouldn't even think about it. Quite often children who have been sexually abused by parents have been court ordered to continue to see them... That used to be the way, at the very least...
Actually parents of children who have been kidnapped are instructed to ask that when they are reunited. So much of the child's life has been out of their hands, and they need to feel safe and like they have some say in the situation. I did a lot of reading on the subject after I heard another set of parents say the same thing when they were reunited with their daughter. It would be so hard not to just run over and hold them, though! That's all you would want to do!
@Noname Atall I have a feeling you don't know that bad parents exist. The girl was found to be neglected and cooped up in an apartment, and the mother didn't let her go to school in her teen years, or didn't you even bother to watch the video? Shitty and abusive parents exist, kid. It's as if you don't know about the stories of parents who have killed their little kids or beat them up to the point of being unrecognizable or messed them up psychologically. Do you live in a bubble?
Really? No school, friends....nor any resemblance of a normal life w living out of a tiny one room hotel. Don't u think if that was the case she would've been known .... professional athletes are normally KNOWN!!! SMH...LETS NOT BE CRITICAL ABT SOMETHING SHE HAD NO CHOICE IN, ALSO THINK BEFORE U TYPE!
As well .... this is no longer a child , she's 17 and I don't even want to think about how mind-f*cked she likely is.?!? I'm pretty sure she's been told for 12 years that her real father is Satan himself , so the time it will take to even begin to understand what is Truth and what is BS ....is going to be significant.
Poor girl. I read an article that said she spoke no Spanish and used to cry at school because she couldn't understand the other children. 😔 i cannot imagine being in a foreign country and not speaking their language
It's still considered a kidnapping whether it's by the mother or father or a stranger. Especially if they flee to another country. So, just because the child had been taken by the mother, it's still a kidnapping. The parents may have been dealing over custody issues and with court and so the mother decided to flee with the child. You can be charged for missing court appointed dates or visits.
+LiwiaGoszynska "he kind of ruined her life"...? Care to elaborate? I would say that the whole Ruination First Place Award belongs to the bio mother who decided that she didn't have to comply with the law. That "guy she does not even remember" is her father. They deserve to be in each others lives and be loved. Not being able to lead a normal life? Not being able to attend school? Holed up in an apartment? That particular brand of lunacy was the bio mother's doing. Come on, you are way biased in this. Kids aren't pawns. They deserve both parents who consider their needs a priority. Bio mothers are not always the best parents to raise their children. Courts need to consider this.
From what I gather. The mother most likely abused her in an attempt to keep her hidden. Idk more about the story but sounds like the mother was obsessive and abusive from the comments. Idk people say a lot of stuff without evidence so who knows
@S Masse you are assuming a hell of a lot there based on your own experiences which is understandable but not really too fair. Even if you were right about the heavy drinker that could have easily started due to losing his daughter in the first place. People read comments like that and run with them and before you know it they become "fact". We have to be careful with throwing accusations
Only thing I can say is poor child. She’s been through so much. I hope all goes well in the remainder of her life and that she knows nothing but love and kindness.
In 1990, a 9-year-old girl went missing in Japan. And in 2000, she was found locked up in the home of a man living in the neighborhood. The incident was very cruel, but the fact that the girl, who had been missing for nearly 10 years, survived, shocked and delighted the Japanese people. The perpetrator was unemployed and lived a closed life, and his mother was also abused. The girl was discovered when his mother asked the municipality for help to forcibly hospitalize him, and the doctors stepped into the house.
due to the situation they only tell the public what the family wants the public to know other wise it can be detrimental to the child ever think about that. She now suffers from PTSD but she is doing great.
My ex kidnapped our son. He disappeared without a trace after I found out he was a sex offender and got the authorities involved and filed for custody. It will be 4 years next week that I saw my little boy for the last time. This gave me hope that one day I will also be ruinited with the son that was stolen from me.
Years ago there was Unsolved Mysteries. Many cases were unraveled due to that show. Based on the carp on TV now it's about time that show is ramped up and we start solving some more cases of missing people, unsolved crimes, and just plain weird events.
@@adielstephenson2929 Seriously? You're going to be rude and question this woman's custody rights to her child kidnapped by a sex offender? smh. You need to probably go check you're self. Start with some good old fashion therapy, maybe they'll prescribe you some much needed little white pills.
Would like more context. Was the mother a bad mother? Was the mother a desperate mother to keep her daughter? What do we know about her life happiness? Misery? What cause the mother to escape with her? What do we know about the dad?
I am not rushing with comments and wish all good recovery. Why she escaped with child, maybe she was driven by trauma? Why she was driven by trauma? Significant- no people with who she could share her worries, decisions, get support to get things right.
Maddie McCann is also missing for 13 years and 2 months now. Some say she's dead, some says she's alive. There is a new suspect in Germany this year 2020. But still hoping she would come back or someday be found alive like this :(
She's dead, and probably because her parents allowed some very powerful people to take her. Compare the police sketch of the suspects with a picture of the Podesta brothers.
She's dead. Her parents - both Drs - regularly give their kids (Madeleine & the twins) drugs to sleep so parents can have a quiet night. This happened on the night she died. Madeleine was put to bed but woke up crying. Her father was annoyed so they gave Madeleine more drugs. Madeleine went back to bed but got up to get a drink of water. She slipped, due to being groggy, fell & hit her head on furniture which killed her. The parents were having dinner with friends & during their checks found her dead. Being a well known surgeon the father didn't want his reputation ruined...also fearing that an autopsy would reveal an overdose, resulting in loss of job, prison & losing the twins ...the father went in to cover-up mode & worked with 1 of the male friends to hide the body in the boot of the friend's car. At 1st the mum didn't know but later, found out. They then hatched a plan with a select few of their friends that she'd been kidnapped. Later the friend drove Madeleine's body to a nearby forest by a campsite & buried her in a shallow grave. Later the friend & her father dug her up, hopped on a small boat & dumped her body, wrapped in chains & anchor for weight, in a nearby lake that feeds into the sea. That is why the parents are blaming foreign Police, hide behind lawyers & come across as arrogant - esp the father. Also they refuse to answer any hard questions by police or journalists other than made-up media statements to make themselves look good & divert attention. Check out 'Channeling Erik' & his talk with Madeleine in the after life.
@@marylbvlogs5470 I commented from memory from Channeling Erik years ago, so I may have missed a few things. What comes to mind is the father's callousness to disrespect his own child's body... & to put his career & reputation as a surgeon above everything else. There are a few investigative book writers & analysis experts who believe the parents are covering up. The sad thing is, Madeleine's mum, spent years on fertility treatments trying to get pregnant. The father comes across as a bully so is able to intimidate the friends into silence as well as the mum. Also what kind of power do they have over Scotland yard who say they've done an investigation but instead have protected the parents. You have to question what kind of mum allows the body of her daughter to be chucked away like that. The strain & guilt is definitely showing on the mum's face & she looks haggard whenever in media.
Patrick Martinez Her father is a stranger to her. She has to be acclimated and counseled. Most children end up rejecting their parents, but some are able to adjust if they came from a stable background (that they can remember) and with the help of years of counseling. Usually the parents have to get counseling on what to expect before they can see their child..........and adjustment for the parents is extremely difficult as well as the child.
What is best for the victim is what should happen. NOT what is best for the father, who....is also a victim. Dang. But what is best should happen. And, they explained it properly.
@Dag Koj Please stop assuming what others’ reasons may be without sources. I understand the facts you are presenting but you are generalizing men with this behavior. Just bc men are more likely to sexually abuse people does not mean that all do. It is in general way more likely for men not to be abusive than to be. You are using the same form of argumentation as people who say that women are to emotional to be in leadership positions. Just be women are statistically more emotional than men. I hope you understand this since English is not my first (or second haha) language. I mean no offense to you or your opinions and if this opinion is based on an irl experience I understand where this is coming from and truly feel with you. But it is not right to drag anyone down regardless if female, male or nonbinary. :)
@Dag Koj I was molested as a child by two of my brothers and my dad. I have three sons, two of which have their children because the mother's left them with them. They are amazing fathers and I completely trust them with my precious grandbabies. Your logic just didn't hold water.
Brings back when my 1&2 year old babies were kidnapped for 13 by their abusive dad. He raped me when I was 12 and kept messing with me until he finally got me pregnant at the age of 14. I was forced to marry him instead of putting him in jail. It was horrible in every way being with him. It was a " fake it til you make it" type of life. I eventually got away from him and later he took my babies. My children finally are home and grown but it's not a family. I pain for anyone who has to deal with their children taken away from them for any reason.
@ Born for such a time as this: I’m very sorry to hear this story 😢 and I’m glad you finally were reunited with your children. You said you would hate to see children taken away for any reason but what if they were taken away because they were being raped or physically abused like you were?

Feel so sorry for her she's been robbed of memories with her dad , the courts didn't put her with her mother which is the norm so something must have been so wrong for that to happen . She's completely missed out along with the dad so sad
Something pretty similar happened with my mom when she was around 6 years old. Her parents divorced, and her dad had full custody over her and her brother. One day her mom came over and said she wanted to take my mom and her brother out to go back to school shopping. As soon as my mom and her brother got in the car, her mom said that they were never gonna go back home again. My mom and her brother lived with her mom and stepdad for about 2 years, and then my mom's stepdad sexually assaulted her. My mom tried to tell her mom, but she didn't believe her. My mom eventually told her teacher about the incident and they soon went to court. My mom ended up having to go to a foster home for a year even though her dad still had custody over her, and her brother was still with her mom and stepdad. After about a year of her being in a foster home, her dad was eventually able to get her and her brother back. Her mom never got punished and she has no idea what happened to her stepdad.

That sounds exactly like how the states protect kids. Put them in a foster home (probably with a molester) while the loving father tries desperately to get his child in a safe supportive real family environment. They hate families more or less and aren't interested in prosecuting any actual abusers because they themselves are mega ultra abusers. If abusers were transformers then the state would be Optimus prime. Want to go for a ride in my car little boy? I promise we are just going to talk. (About the rest of your very short childhood). Vroom Vroom.
I hope that bitch that kidnapped your mother gets punished.. harshly. I'm sorry if I've insulted your grandmother but this is the stuff that boils my blood with rage and I have to say my thoughts. If I get angry enough to insult someone or say how angry I am then I'M TOTALLY ANGRY. I don't tolerate things like this.

The father had custody of her. If a court gives a father full custody of a child, it's for a damn good reason, i.e. the mother is unfit, as the legal system is typically against the father.
Donna Scheible We're not suggesting that he is unfit or anything like that. We are just stating that it is a little strange on the way that they were giving answers and how even they did not seem to actually know what was going on.
This kinda of things scare me to death. I was kidnapped when i was 2 for like a few days before police found the lady who took me. She was going to take me and a few other babies to mexico for child porn and drugs. Couldnt imagine how awful life would have been if i wasnt found
@Dag Koj Not every man is bad. Most men aren't. Most women aren't. It's very sexist and immature to assume that. She was kidnapped and never got to go to school, have friends, you are very blind I'm very embarrassed for you.
a decade or so ago we had a guy here take off with his 8 year old ex step-daughter because the mother's new husband was grooming/abusing her and neither the mother nor police department would do anything about it. The girl's father was helping the ex step-dad keep a step ahead of the police by giving him a heads up whenever they were close to finding them and would visit them several times a year. They came home a week after the girl turned 18, the ex step-dad was arrested but never charged because the first thing the father and daughter did was go to the press and told the entire story, once the story got out in the news the DA didn't have any choice but decline to prosecute.

Choosing whom you marry or even have a child with is the biggest decision you'll ever make.
Choose wisely.

Did she know she was kidnapped ? Or like did she just think her mum was normal since she grew up with the abuse/craziness?
Her mom probably fed her stories about how her dad was crazy n stuff. That poor kid is gonna need some serious help! God bless her!

That's terrible 12 years of a normal life taken away
maybe the mom was hurting her.
Or the father was hurting the mom and she ran away. We really don't know bc we were not there...
especially the best time of their children life
Or he was doing worse..

That "guy she does not even remember" is her father. They deserve to be in each others lives and be loved. Not being able to lead a normal life? Not being able to attend school?
My Mai oh my God 😟

It is almost certain she did. Intense parental alienation was mentioned.
The mom told her that the dad didn’t want the daughter and killed himself. In an article I read before
criminals look nice too.
There’s definitely more to the story than we’re told.
Can we have a follow up please?

Yup

Wow...
thats sad im sorry tp hear a story. i always wonder the wprse like what if the dad was molesting the girl ended up w custofy and thats y mom stole her... not saying thats what happen3d but theres so mich none of is will ever know
That sounds exactly like how the states protect kids.
Bluecloud857 No, it's totally fine. My entire family feels the same way.
I never get how you're kidnapped by your own mother.. ridiculous
Anyone notice? He had custody
+paisleyyama it doesn't mean anything! The courts are corrupt who has more money can destroy the other parent. Its so sad what happens to kids and parents. They don't mention in this case why she ran. Was he abusive? some moms are not believed trying to protect their children. But we certainly don't know.
+Debra Davis Yes very true! What would the mom say?
yes according to the father.
+UnscrupulousAgitator Courts usually favor the mother. I would like to hear why they didn't find the mother fit before I am suspicious of the father. At this point the only person suspect is the mother.
+BatmanFanGirl it can depend on the judge to be fair
Leave it to Fox to not tell the whole story.
exactly.

Sabrina is 17 years old now and can do as she pleases. Associate with her mother and father or not. It's her life and her decision. I hope she's mature enough to realize that doesn't have to listen to anyone else.
The dad is one of those fortunate ones who was able to have their child/loved one returned back to them alive.
They have the same eyes and the same smile so adorable
Helloo
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
I dont understand why youtube recommends me things that happened 4 years ago-
Sabina looks just like her dad. I hope it goes well....
There are still millions of missing children who need to be found alive💕
Hello Amy
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
wow her mom kidnapped her and tried to ruin her daughters life by selling her and making her dumb
+Debra Davis i agree neither did i
Um... No she didn't commit suicide. She's alive. Do you know what suicide means?
She said that the girl was TOLD that her father didn't want her and then committed suicide.
Jenn Hoff thanks for deciphering that for me.
He is good father he didn't deserve happens him like that
Amazing miracles. I know someone really prayed for this!
Something isn't adding up...I wish we had more facts and not just what these reporters say is what they "understand." How'd they find her? They said FBI and private investigators with border patrol? Wth...
I agree with you, something doesn't add up. They didn't really give us much information about the girl
They said they got a tip. They're probably not allowed to disclose more than that for the safety of whoever tipped them off.
I agree with you...
This kinda of things scare me to death. I was kidnapped when i was 2 for like a few days before police found the lady who took me. She was going to take me and a few other babies to mexico for child porn and drugs. Couldnt imagine how awful life would have been if i wasnt found
You must have a guardian angel looking over you, like myself! Pray.
Omg. Im glad U were rescued. Sometimes people dont know the story of those who live that kind of life. You are Beautiful and blessed.
I'm so glad that she is back with her father. There was much time lost, but there is still more time ahead. May they all have healing.

It’s not everyday a story like this has a happy ending. This is truly a miracle.
Dag Koj follow the story asshole.
@Dag Koj Not every man is bad. Most men aren't. Most women aren't. It's very sexist and immature to assume that. She was kidnapped and never got to go to school, have friends, you are very blind I'm very embarrassed for you.
This is kind of like Disney's Rapunzel, only a bit different.
That's exactly what I was thinking 😂
Ikr
That's what I said.
With shorter hair 💇🏻♀️
You DO realize Rapunzel is not a Disney story, it's a German story (fairytale).
a decade or so ago we had a guy here take off with his 8 year old ex step-daughter because the mother's new husband was grooming/abusing her and neither the mother nor police department would do anything about it.
OMG, you guys are so negative I'm glad they found her alive. God is good...😇

I'm thrilled she's been found, but my heart dropped when I realized it wasn't Baby Sabrina.
Helloo
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
I thought of Baby Sabrina from west coast of Fl. stolen as a baby also.
Thank you Lord for bringing another child home to her family! All praise, honor and Glory to you God and for the Glory of Your Kingdom! Thank you for those special people who have searched for 12 years to find her! Please help and bless these people, Sabrina and her family fix what has been broken. In the name of Jesus! Amen and Hallelujah!
But why did God allow 12 years to pass?
I'm assuming the part of your message that thanked the hundreds of people and the dogged determination of her father all these years was omitted in error. I also assume that the part of your message offering prayers for her eventual recovery (after years of psychological and other medical help) was omitted accidentally.
I certainly recognize your right to praise. But I respectfully remind you that praise should be to all who were involved in this exceptionally horrendous case.
Yes, all glory to God!
I'm glad they found her , I wish the Skelton brothers would be found , and all the other missing kids
Yeah, see, those are REAL kidnappings, the kids dont come back, horrible things hpn to them, theyre taken by strangers, all clearly earmarks of real kidnappings.
@@cconroy1677 This is a real kidnapping. Just because the abductor was a parent doesn't mean it isn't bad. Please dont downplay how serious it is.
I remember this Dad being in the news about his missing daughter years ago. If I'm remembering correctly he was Very concerned for her daily well being and mental health. He didn't think she would be properly cared for.

@@teresawallin6231 , they said that she’s back in the USA.
12 year's. She needs to be evaluated by professional psychiatric care so not to possibly cause more trauma is my only guess.
