@@olehschok9467 Hello. Actually this is the second time changing the wet belt kit on this van. The belt which we taking off pass 150k all parts were Genuine. We see some of them on 167k still with the original belt. When they was released interval was 150k now the manufacturer recommendations are 100k.
Does the intake manifold oil pump have to be replaced?
my car has 125,000 km
Is one tube with 71 g of glue enough for the front cover and the oil pan?
Absolutely
Do you really need to replace sump or it can be refitted?
@@stratosdanas8176 for the price, which costs less than 50 pounds, we don't recommend taking that risk.
Does the starter motor also have to be locked on the right-hand side?
@Bubi0 must be taken off to lock the flywheel with the special tool. This gonna allow you to unbolt the crankshaft pulley after that.
What is your opinion? Is it better to use all original Ford parts or can you use spare parts from other manufacturers, for example Gates SKF...
@Bubi0 We are always using genuine parts, we tested them, and we know they last 150k and are really reasonable price.
Would a 2 litre wet belt transit be worth buying if it had service history from new
Yes. We have some of them nearly 300k. Even 2022 we have on 200k only down side is NOX sensor, but still nearly 200k faultless sound good to us.
Thanks for your advice on the wetbelt transit
How much was this wet belt job?
