⚡ 💀 💕 / 🏴 🏴 🏴 "Stand up and shout, Shout!, Justice Forever!" - (Road of Resistance) - As far as I'm concerned, this is not just a classic BABYMETAL song, but a Metal classic. Here's Su-metal talking about 'Road of Resistance' in a 2016 interview: "I feel like it expresses who I am. I think that the world view of this song is one that is a theme of a time similar to that of the era of the warring states in Japan. But differing from that time, this is not about a anguishing type of battle but rather a battle that we fight so that all of us can become as One, you could say. A sense of accomplishment comes into being when we overcome some kind of difficulty and because we have overcome obstacles together we can all become a unified One. Thinking along those lines that is probably why I always think that performing live shows is kind of like fighting a battle."
Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。This anthemic song was played in the latest show on Jan.28/29 this year, and I ran in the circle pit for the first time in my life. 😄 The crowd involvement (mosh pit, call & response, chant etc.) occurs wherever they go on this planet. American people also did good job in any of 20 shows during BM's 2019 US Tour. For example, you will find videos showing 17,500 audiences doing the same chanting (even much longer one) at the Forum, CA on Oct. 11, 2019. In your video, Su shouted some words at 09:07 meaning "Bring them on!". Fans analyzed that the provocative shout was thrown at people who had been ignoring, underrating, mocking, hating and even trying to discredit BABYMETAL. That shout may have been necessary in 2015 but not any longer. She shouted it rarely since then. In the shows last weekend, she sung this song with happy smile. The girls, however, have grown up into beautiful ladies, no cute girls any longer. The maturity add more attractiveness to this band.
Great reaction, thanks! This was the final encore of the "New Year Fox Festival" held on January 10th 2015 at Saitama Super Arena with a sold out crowd of 20.000+ people. And this was the epic closer for an epic show: 90+ minutes performed with this level of energy. It's crazy. Also the crowd interaction was very important here. Su-metal still remembers this moment with all the audience chanting along as one of her favorites on stage. She also made this song her personal anthem. And you can tell she was on fire, specially during the second half of the song, by her non verbal expression and even shouting on a certain moment: "Kakatte koiya!" (Bring it on!). Until next time!
4:41 _Now Pizza Time! (Pizza Time!)_ 🦊🤘🍕 Thanks for hearing our suggestions and coming back with more BM songs, fans always appreciate when reactors are taking a risk when reacting to certain BM songs heavily blocked. The One (BM fandom) is excited once again with the new "METAL KINGDOM" official MV released a couple of hours ago from upcoming album "The Other One", a couple of live performances were held in January 28 - 29 returning to the stage after almost two years, we got more news and announcements along with more live shows in April 1 (Fox Day) later they will join Sabaton's Europe Tour as a special guests. So far no one is having any copyright blocked issues reacting to the new singles so don't worry about it, but my suggestion is to stick with early BM songs before jumping to this new era with more mature sound. _Road Of Resistance_ is a power/speed metal song, is one of their most epic anthem and got the guitar arrangements made by Sam Totman and Herman Li from DragonForce, and is all about facing your own path without looking back. The wall of death is nuts just like you noticed, is also called "mosh'sh pit", different from usual mosh pit because this one is safe to participate if you fall everyone will stop until you get up and get ready to keep going with the fun ride, but you gotta be careful not losing your shoes, towels, tickets or even your smartphone like recently in those concerts.😱 This was part of the Trilogy Of 2015 series of concerts, live at New Year Fox Festival - Saitama Super Arena, is the last song of the encore they performed and finishing the show. By this time their fame was already high due to viral success on YT of Gimme Chocolate! MV, people from all over the world attended this live concert in Japan, and 20K souls witnessed this epic moment. With only 15 and 17 years old this moment will be forever remember when they performing this song to reminds them all the support they got from their fans no matter where they go, either a small or big stages. The Kami Band here are magnificent set of elite musicians who were send to help the girls with the metal sound, they rotate so probably you won't see some of them in all live concerts (specially the guitarrists), all of them are males. BM fans love some members of this band but none of them are official members of this group not even permanent, they only play live, so when you heard album tracks remember they aren't playing there. In this case they are: - Leda Cygnus, god of guitar, he's the only Kami Band member who's credited as a session musician when recording certain songs. - Takayoshi Ohmura, god of guitar, he's Míkio' Fujioka's pupil (another beloved Kami Band guitarist who sadly past away) and a prodigy child, you'll see his recognizable pink guitar or golden in other moments. - BOH, god of bass, he's the bald one and not only got amazing talent but her fun way to enjoy reminds me Flea from RHCP. - Hideki Aoyama, god of drums, he comes from a family of expert drummers, and his father is very famous in Japanese music scene. At the end of their shows they always said "We are BabyMetal!" with the crowd, to making them sure that they're part of this show and project too, is a line borrowed to X-Japan saying it at live concerts too. If you like this type of metal genre then you're gonna love another previous song from first album called *"Ijime Dame Zettai"* live at Sonisphere Festival 2014 and witness a precious and epic moment on their career. You can find that clip in the official channel but just be careful coz sometimes is getting blocked issues. Thanks for sharing this, beautiful megitsune. Hopefully this won't be blocked.🙏❤️ See you next time and kitsune up! 🦊🤘🔥
Great reaction by a charming lady. I enjoy everything you post. And yes the girls ended the concert with "See You" and the audience answered back "See You"
Thanks for this reaction ! Babymetal has not done a strike very often, it's extremely rare. Blocked and claimed, etc. do happen though. Some people put in the comments 'copyright strike' when they really mean blocked, they don't know the difference. When lead singer, Su-metal, as a little girl or young woman, but definitely not tall, gestures, the crowd just does what she asks them to do. No security needed. From little girls up to big grown men.
Yes, this performance is very much 'arena rock'-like, Babymetal just incorporates anything they think is cool. Ideas from different cultures and music (sub)genres. You are very right about the dances being hard because of the workout, Babymetal limits their shows in length because of it or occasionally creates some small pauses, but for the audience it's also a workout, because of the crowd interaction and the fast pace of the music. That especially Su-metal can sing doing all that is a small miracle that took a lot of hours of hard work, but they build it up over the years of course. No, people are not picked to do the moshing, etc. people just do it, other people around them will make the room. It's all audience led. Babymetal are the master class in having audience participation, they know exactly what hints to give to the crowd and what does and doesn't work. And even improve on that during a tour.
Well done This girls are just insane But you also should check their last video live It just drop about 3 hours a go It is insane METAL KINGDOM THIS ONE IS FROM THEIR NEW ALBUM THE OTHER ONE JUST INSANE
Great reaction. This video was from January 2015 at the Saitama Super Arena. Su was 17, Yui and Moa only 15 and that was over 20,000 people completely under their control. Even at that age Su just looks at the crowd, spreads her arms and the crowd opens up for a wall of death (actually several walls of death at that concert as the crowd were in sections. A journalist up in the balcony that night said he counted, i think it was, 21 mosh pits). They do not pick people or have people go into the crowd to open the wall of death or to organise the circle pits ... the crowds do that for themselves. This was the end of a 90 minute concert and yes, they had been keeping that same energy up without any drop in quality for the whole time. It is what they do - they appreciate people have often paid a lot of money and travelled a long way to see them, they never give anything less than 100% for every song at every concert, whether that is one of their big arena concerts in Japan or at the many various sized venues as they tour the world. You talked about their choreo - no it is not like you will get with a pop act where the steps and movements are just taken from the standard dance step grab bag - you may also notice there is nothing sexual or suggestive about BABYMETAL's choreo. BABYMETAL's choreo is bespoke for each song and serves two main purposes: 1 it helps with interpreting the meaning of the song or a lyric - they are not just dancing to the beat, they are performing the song; 2 it is designed to lead the crowd, to get everybody involved letting them know when to jump, when to pump their fists, when to shout etc and basically it is intended that everybody in the crowd becomes involved, joining in and that they are an important part of the performance. This was the official video, they actually cut that outro short by at least a couple of minutes while the girls went to each different side of the stage to shout "We are ... BABYMETAL" with as many of the audience as they could get near to. As well as that long central bridge out to the small stage there were two more bridges at either end of the stage leading to a couple more small stages that they used at various points in the show. About the song itself. 'Road of Resistance' is a very positive song, I'm not sure the translation really works so well to convey what it is really about, but it isn't the usual "resist the machine or the system etc" that we might expect from the title. It is about forging your own road even where a road doesn't already exist, not necessarily going the easy way or following the path already made by somebody else, so if the way you want to go has never been trodden you may have to get past the resistance of the undergrowth, obstacles, hurdles and things blocking your way etc to find your own way. It could easily be used to describe BABYMETAL's own story - they could have followed the well trodden path of J-Pop and been very successful, but they chose to go with Metal ... but again they didn't just follow the same old format of every other metal band, they have done it their own way and it hasn't always been an easy route to follow. Herman Li and Sam Totman from DragonForce did the guitar arrangements for this song (it is the only one they were involved in) and recorded the guitars for the album version. This is a power metal song. If you would like an 80s style rock ballad then Su-metal's solo song 'No Rain, No Rainbow' is what you're after (ideally the Legend S performance from 2017).

Really enjoyed your thoughtful reaction again. One thought, for myself I've found over the years that an even great song can be ruined by less than great lyrics. The fact that I don't speak Japanese -but do enjoy the way it sounds-allows me to just enjoy the whole package without being distracted by lyrics I may or may not enjoy. Just speaking for myself here.
I prefer nonexperts as reactors, its more real and most YT experts are on YT for a reason. 😂😂 If they were that good they'd be getting reacted to not being reactors. 😂😂
Suzuka Nakamoto doesn't dance as much as Yui and Moa. She does the bulk of the singing. But it definitely affects her. She had some vocal backing tracks in this song. Su is singing along with her own voice in a slight harmony. Babymetal fans can get mad at me but i can hear it. She sings much better in her solo songs when she does almost no dancing.
Great is an totally inadequate adjective to describe BM's crowd control. Who has better on planet earth? I know A LOT of music genre's and I can't name one band or a single artist present day. Current top 40 pop is pure garbage with no performer worthy of worship..

It's impressive how the lead singer, Su-Metal, catches back the audience singing more and more off keys. At the age of 16 having such kind of control, is beyond reasoning. This is an encore type song for the end of the concert.
No security was necessary as Empress Su commanded it to be so.
Ninjas. They are ninjas.
I heard that they used to practice singing while running on a treadmill.
3:27 - Not a security thing. This is called Wall of Death, the crowd knows what she's doing here and oblige.
They didnt need security to open up the pit, the people would literally get on their knees if the girls ever gestured for it, especially in Japan.
Very very nice idea. put the raindrop to avoid copyright. Well done :)
SU-metal is amazing. The stamina. Great reaction. Love from Sweden
I hope they play that in Sydney, love that song, it's so good 😎

Excelente ! Good Job ! Please check The best son by BabyMetal so far : Rondo of NightMare with intro Mischafe of Metal Gods . Real live performance in Budokan Black Night 2014. Please Please Please.
BABYMETAL 大好きです♪ 動画にしてくれて ありがとう(A RI GA TO U) ございます。
They don't "security seperate" anyone in the crowd.
SuSu wants a wall of death, so a wall of death she gets.
More by BABYMETAL
No busques más géneros para nombrarlas simplemente hacen Power Metal, te lo dice uno que empezó en 1980 a escuchar HEAVY METAL 🤘🏻😈🤘🏻
Security doesn't make the Wall of Death, the fans do. See also: Exodus (the band, not the Bible, LOL!)
4:47 - _"I don't need you!"_
Hahaha 😝 keep playing Headbanger!
Please react more babymetal live performance 🦊🎸
I prefer nonexperts as reactors, its more real and most YT experts are on YT for a reason. 😂😂
If they were that good they'd be getting reacted to not being reactors. 😂😂

New songs 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The One ❤❤❤
she caslling for the wall of death
Not. Security. QUEEN SU. 😊
Wanna do a reaction to X Japan?
Please check out babymetals new song that just came out metal Kingdom
Suzuka Nakamoto doesn't dance as much as Yui and Moa. She does the bulk of the singing. But it definitely affects her. She had some vocal backing tracks in this song. Su is singing along with her own voice in a slight harmony. Babymetal fans can get mad at me but i can hear it. She sings much better in her solo songs when she does almost no dancing.
it's 2023 ALL bands of this stature incorporate backing tracks, totally nothing wrong with it..
@@stangcobra592 I agree. I listen to Vocaloid:) Singing isn't even a rare talent. Most people can learn to sing.

Why are all your video’s flipped and water feature
Great is an totally inadequate adjective to describe BM's crowd control. Who has better on planet earth? I know A LOT of music genre's and I can't name one band or a single artist present day. Current top 40 pop is pure garbage with no performer worthy of worship..
A little bit to much interruption
