Just found your video. I love truckers. I think that y'all are great. I'm 66 years old with a bad heart. And I feel the right under those conditions to say to anyone with the ability to read, to say 'RESPECT, RESPECT, AND RESPECT"!!! WITHOUT THEM YOU WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BUY a lot of your needs! Thank you people. Chrissy from Texas. Be careful out there.
Good Evening Mike, nice to ride with you for awhile before it will be 11pm. Glad you had with your grandchildern. We had a good Saturday March 26, 2022 65* partly sunny, I planted early garden, mostly salad greens to early for the Tomatoes they get planted in mid May. Off this weekend which will be Catch up time around the house. Glad your driving as I listen to what is going on.
drove a long nose Pete, hand crank windows, no climate controlled cab. had to pull over onto freeway shoulder one afternoon to chase big bee out of my cab. 😁😋 Thems the good old days.
Hey Mike! Just wanted to share with you what I used to do when I was driving. I carried a 5 gallon bucket on the cat walk behind my cab, I would fill the bucket about ½ full of water and would get Dawn dish soap and put a couple of squeezes in the water, mix up the dish soap with the water and that was my windshield washer; during the winter months, I would add a bottle of 70% or higher Isopropyl Alcohol (rubbing alcohol) to the dish soap/water and never had frozen windshield washer fluid, I would add more rubbing alcohol to it depending on the temperatures. I also used to add rubbing alcohol to the windshield washer fluid that I would use for the windshield wiper washer sprayer too during the winter months. I would also reuse a gallon jugs of windshield washer fluid and make up my own windshield washer fluid for the wipers too. Okay buddy, you can say that I was cheap... LOL... but it sure saved me from having to pay for those high truck stop prices on washer fluid! I never had messed up windshields with streaks either. You'll have to kind a play with the Dawn dish soap to get the desired amount you want to use for washing your windows in the bucket. I always used a couple of drops of Dawn when I was making up the washer fluid for the truck. Great seeing your video and have wondered if you was taking another break from the truck! Catch you later and be safe!
I've did a journey from Jacksonville,Ar To Denver, CO. A snow skiing trip too. LOL. The Drive through Kansas is as Flat as a dropped straight arrow in the western part and it transitions to a more undualting landscape in Colorado.
Hi Mike, love your videos. Next time you're in Denver, stop by Steakhouse 10 on Hampton. My dad's restaurant when it was Hampton West. He was top 10 chef in the state.
Although I would not recommend any soundtrack, I could almost hear clips from A Fistful of Dollars as you drove along. You know, snap. Whip cracks! "We can fight!" It would be a real hoot to drop that into the video for about 8 seconds one time.
Hey Mike. Have been tuned into you for a while.l enjoyed listening to you. I have a real close friend who sounds exactly like you. Hope you make your motel delivery on time. Good luck and drive safe.
Only recently I (Swiss, 80y) found your channel and subscribed for the views of your beautiful country. Only thing that is sometimes irritating are repeated swipes of the camera left and right. They are so fast that they can be nauseating.
Hi Mike: good to see you videos have been sparce lately, miss them. Seems as if every truck going the other way is a Fed Ex. What’s going on with them? Are they becoming a big surface hauler as well as air transport or are they shipping a lot of overnight stuff via trucks? Enjoyed this one keep them coming. See you next trip. Ed
vondetour : As I understand it, it is the fluid you have to add to cut down emissions and carbon particulate to reduce air pollutants. California is big on it.
