Congratulations on a really good review Rennie. Great to hear an Aussie who is highly respected (& a damn fine rider) praising the big Guzzi. My mate & I saw the Flying Fortress in the flesh at the Melbourne MotoExpo last month,. We're both LONG term Harley riders, but were gobsmacked at the attention to detail and the finesse in the product, particularly after comparing it with the 2017 Harleys, which had gaps in the wiring that looked crap on a $40,000 motorcycle! Would love to ride one, but congratulations to Moto Guzzi for having the guts to do something very different!
For me this is One of the Most Beautiful Bikes in the last Decade ! Love the Sound ! And the Design is a 10 in it's Class. I am from Europe so , I know Moto Guzzi , had a few Die Hard Guzzi Fan Friends that rode em. They got Racer Style , but also Cruiser. I always like the Brand, kinda Unique. Greetings !
We've been pronouncing Guzzi wrong for 95 years. You're fighting a loosing battle, buddy. Better to just talk about what great bikes they are. I sure as hell love my Cali 1400.
If an interviewer was calling his HD Holy Davison, you would think that maybe if you are going to do a review, the very least you could do as a professional is to pronounce the name of the brand correctly.....and Goozi instead of Guzzy isn't hard now is it? Moe to the point I went and road tested an Indian Chieftain and a Holy Davison ( got me at it now) Fat Boy. They were find until I tried one of those 1400 Guzzis. It was like night v's day. More power, better handling, braking and character. It also got a crowd wherever it went. Went out and bought the black Guzzi Eldorado. To have bought anything else would be to opt for something inferior.
What's up with your pronounciation of Guzzi? Sometimes you get it right, sometimes not. It's simple. Remember: GUZZI-italian-PIZZA.... GUZZI-PIZZA, GUZZI-PIZZA. You can manage that, can't you?
Ah. Purebred Italian. I'm not Italian, but I am in Trieste at least 2 times a week. And everybody there says Guzzi just like Pizza. Yes, I ride my Griso there a lot. :D
Brgnalf81 I can't honestly say I am purebred. Anyhow, I initially agreed with you but only if you pronounce Pizza like Italians do, the pronunciation by an American is off, imho. Thumbs up for being a Griso rider! I am hoping to get either a Griso or a Boneville Bobber soon.

socal-local let's go Check autotrader, they’re down to 11 to 12k all over the place, and now that there is snow some state like MI or WI probably has one for less than that just to get some walking space in their overpacked showroom....

The B-52 is the Strato-Fortress. The Flying Fortress is the B-17. I saw one in flight about 6 months ago. Quite a thrill.

What exactly do you "hate" about the headlight? what would you suggest?
practically anything else but that headlight. too much like a spaceship. something more traditional in shape.
To win Harley buyers over it will need more chrome, a LOT more chrome.
