Even though you aren’t a woman it’s nice to get some insight on women’s street style. I’ve always been drawn to streetwear and techwear and it seems like there’s little to no content in regards to womens wear. Ngl, I buy all my cool hoodies and stuff from the mens section 😂

Trousers is just kind of a general word for pants. Doesn't mean it's casual/cropped. You can have dress wool trousers, casual trousers, flared trousers, etc.

Trousers are cropped pants at the ankle or above and I am actually a fashion designer and have a friend who kept getting made fun of by his coworkers for wearing “Capris” to the office because he had pants that went up over his ankle. I told him not to listen to the haters while I am the one who styled him so I got offended. So I did my research and you’ll never guess what happened. Trousers were initially a military garment in the 14th century (BC) and soldiers for a certain army wore them on horseback (not sure which army) but the Greeks and Romans mocked them for looking ridiculous, not wearing skirts mind you. Well whoever wore the trousers ended up winning battles because it was easier to work with than the skirt and pretty soon every army around the globe started adopting the trousers, then general public, the fast forward to the 70’s men were rocking them, hippie or yuppie. Then 80’s+ it’s been a woman thing and men brought it back AGAIN in the 90’s to now for skateboarding and no matter the gender you can still look great in some cropped trousers!!!!🙏😎
Moral of the story, no one makes fun of my friend at work anymore because they don’t wanna get a history lesson from him😂

Shackets , like shirt jackets are also really in , flannel shirts worn with almost lounge wear. I see that a lot nowadays matching two piece pastel colored lounger wear also .

A few months ago i was doing some spring cleaning and found a pair of cargo pants which i have not worn in about at least 20 years (yes seriously).
I was planning to throw it out or give it to charity but thought I'd just give it one last wear to go buy groceries. It still fit me but after a while i also noticed cargo pants are making a comeback.
So i ended up just keeping it instead lol
