Where I live (Toronto), everything is trending. Some people still dress like Kanye from 2015, workwear is still popular, people wear Eric Emmanuel type shorts, tech wear, Arcteryx, stone island, supreme, etc. People still wear dunks, Jordan’s, nb’s, Yeezy 350’s, yeezy slides, etc. Everything that was popular the past 7-8 years is still popular. Lol
My understanding about Toronto fashion is that it's almost like a resting ground for trends? (No hate, just an observation) Toronto doesn't seem to have a distinctive fashion perspective like you'd get in other cities. Def less intense and more room to explore your style, but I'd love to see more innovation in fashion there NGL.
From a Gen X perspective this video is really interesting. I don’t remember these looks having titles back in the late 80’s and 90’s. Maybe they did but for the most part people wore the styles as an identity. Like if you were Goth or a skater or into soccer you dressed in accordance. I went through some of these phases and seeing people dress like this again is kinda shocking, because when some of these looks got played out we swore no one would ever dress like this again but we were wrong. Being old enough to see things come full circle is revealing.
Shorts and timz Been a thing (like you said) Especially here in NY! Cats don’t do it anymore and haven’t really done it in a while, but…..it was a thing
The only thing I would add is the mesh/partially see through camp collar/cuban shirts. Those feel sort of like a nod to quiet luxury but also not because the see through nature of them makes them stylable in fits with streetwear/opium type beats
Glad to have you back. Watched you in the dorms back before I could even cop Bape and you were reviewing the Bapestas. Law school this fall and Im about to go to Shinjuku to the Bape Store. Keep going bro.
I think next fronteer of football jerseys are the promo tshirts not of bands but of unknown businesses and events. Like I bought a black vintage t-shirt with light gray print of JuJitsu club on front and all of the sponsors listed on the back and I felt that this was it. Also buying vintage coloured things, like t with stripes, and to dye them all black. Or putting a fresh white print on striped vintage tshirt. Also colour brown I feel upcoming. All brown look, like you took vintage pieces, drenched them in dark mud and put them on.
I remember when you could cop Sambas at the outlet mall for $30 and you’d have a crispy shoe that was different than the usual J’s and Yeezys and such at the time
"The pants obliterate the shoes" is so accurate. Back in the day it used to be you wanted the sneakers to be front and center, sometimes tucking the tongue behind the pant leg. Now it's like the sneakers need to be draped over and covered and that's the look.
I like how boots on shorts look like but to wear in hot weather it is just not practical. Maybe if it is heavy rain in summer it can go. Also super wide jeans that drag on floor. I wore those in 2000 n something and they were so impractical that don't want to put myself through that again. They can sell it to kids who didn't experience it in the first coming back in the days 😂
this vid reminded me of how some youtubers will react to their supporters wearing their brand and rate them or just their supporters outfits in general. maybe a vid idea for when u need a vlog break lol. 1
Luv these vids, keep up the work. Could u maybe do a video talking about raw denim and recommend some places. I got ur arc denim in indigo, and i wanted the black as well but size i sould out, so im trynna find something similar:)
as an older person i struggled when baggy jeans moved over to what looked like jeggings, now im struggling to go anything further than straight cuts, but fuck jorts i skipped that shit the first time round ill be damned if i put em on now
We as Americans love jerseys we just slept on soccer jerseys cause it’s not big here like football and basketball I use to always see soccer jerseys at the adidas store all the time passed on them lol
man in the 90's if you were into hip hop u rocked tims and some huge cargo shorts or those oversized pockets denim and the kids that were more punk were rocking slummy jorts and doc's, so yeah shorts and jeans was a thing hard on the east coast. ive seen some heavy set dudes rock that look all winter]
Man the samba hype broke my heart, been rocking them for over a decade, always thought they'd go untouched. Nothing is niche anymore, and this seems to be applying to anything and everything as of late, beyond fashion.
Yo the b-roll/transition footage you use on this...I want info on all of it. It all looks super interesting and makes me feel like I'd lose half a day on UA-cam watching all that.
Wide jeans??? So basically they ran out of ideas and they’re going back to Kikwear and JNCO to copy ideas. C’mon already fashion is such a joke at this point.
My prediction for the next pants trend is flares. If you wanna be the trend setter, you better start hunting for it and be the first on social media rocking it.
@@coolzguyver4588 yup. Baggy jeans was around the same time as well, and that's back in trend now, so it's either MC Hammer balloon pants or the opposite, which is flares.
As for stealth wealth it is becoming too boring and wide spread and thus not cool. Upcoming variation could be this...I saw a clochard on the street once. He was a man in mid 40s, slim but not emaciated, pleasantly sun tanned, and with short curly black hair. Like some ex rocker gone bankrupt and homeless. He was wearing all black look. On feet adidas all black NMD_R1, he wore all black leather jacket with no tshirt underneath, barechested, and black suit trousers. It looked so cool. Trousers were kind of allover slightly drenched with grease that took away the stuffy look but they didn't seem dirty. Like you just washed them in water and left them to dry hanging and not ironing them. Deconstructed in a best way possible. I will definitely try to pull that look in autumn. Obviously not bare chested 😊.
In regard to bloke-core, I kinda get the comments in regards to football shirts: "don't wear the jersey if you are not into that team" - I agree with you its "dumb" but in Europe's "real street culture" you can get your ass beat(as far as a visit in a hospital or death) if you are wearing an improper jersey in a wrong town or neighbourhood. I guess it's similar to wearing wrong colours, and team caps in L.A.'s hoods. But in Europe you can get into trouble not only in the "hood" but also down town, main street.
The whole “stealth wealth” or “Tyler type beat” is just Ivy clothing. Preppy and clean, while remaining relaxed in what you’re wearing. The Ivy look isn’t a trend. It’s literally timeless clothing.
i get what your saying but stealth wealth ranges more into expensive materials and a minimalist look with not much color but ivy league style focuses more on pieces like loafers, ties, rugbies with more color
havent seen one of these types of vids from you in awhile
John Cena doesn't get enough credit for carrying Jorts for as long as he did. He really made that.
Where I live (Toronto), everything is trending. Seems ideal. People just wear what they want

Well the general population is usually behind on trends, or sticks to the older trends that they still personally like so this isn’t surprising
Right I was just in Toronto and in Vancouver too where I live people are mostly just sticking to what they like and dgaf
This is how it feels in the netherlands as well, at least where I live
miss this style of vid! the long vlogs are awesome but nice to get one of these once in a while
He's back with the trend vids!
Bro your videos (this style and/or format), literally got me through quarantine
Facts
Boots and shorts = park ranger look. Flesh Timbo boots and shorts = 1990s hip hop.
HUGE difference between the two.

agreed lots of lace / crochet shirts that nod to luxury and are some kind of derivative of people coming from "old money" fashion

Keep doing these. Yours is something diff from the others and hits on da spot.
Old money kinda has the Zara mens wear vibe 😂😂😂
Blokecore fits have been a thing for 2 summers now. Wondering and kinda expecting for the look to change next spring/summer.
What do you think the next summer fits will be?
@@Indra0T great question. Honestly I have no clue yet. I feel like it’ll happen very organically. That’s the cool part about tik tok.
good vid bro keep it up
Really appreciate these type of videos from you 🙏.
the samba blowing up is so funny, my only pair is a custom colorway from back when adidas allowed that on sambas in like 2016
i live in california.. and it feels like every thing goes out of style so fast
The jersey trend really makes me want that Supreme Hennessy long sleeve.

Used to wear shorts and boots back in the 90s.
I want the Togo single sofa piece ..tbh u r right or a knoll wassily chair 😭u r right on
Well, boots and shorts was a skinhead/punk thing. If someone is wondering where it came from. It just doesn’t look right without baggy shorts imo
this vid reminded me of how some youtubers will react to their supporters wearing their brand and rate them or just their supporters outfits in general. maybe a vid idea for when u need a vlog break lol. 1
The Herman Miller chair is so clutch, I've been into it for a few years but refuse to drop that much money on a chair right now.
You should do a video of fashion trends you miss 🤠☝️

Weve never NOT worn shorts and boots in the south. They called us country for it.
I was born in 95 so I participated in Y2K in real time lol. With that said I love a fitted top and super loose/gooey/baggy pants lol
Yeah shorts and timbs have always been a NY thing. Great vid
6:57 this is hilarious and so true lmao. I’d go with the double knees personally, but if I were into soccer I could see the second option being heat 🔥
hit this right on the nail Keezy!!!
You forgot the Sematary Haunted Mound kids and their Trues and MMA Elite tee fits
THANK U KEEZY

All these trends are just modernizations of what ‘real people’ wore in the 90’s.

QUIET LUXUTY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MINIMALISNM
Wait until the rugbys come back with patched elbows thanke later
