I also spotlight brands that I believe in every now and then. I believe in #creativityoverconsumption, and that we all have the power to be conscious consumers.

Brown blazer with the Obi belt and brown trousers is the stand-out; so classy and polished.
I came here to say that too! So chic
thank you so much!
Thank you for not trying to sell us a bunch of crap! I’m so sick of trying to get style advice on other channels and just watching a 30 minute ad. Over it!
Great video. I'm personally more fond of the pastels, but I may be using my black pieces more often as I have just adopted a new cat 🐈⬛ She is called Bluebell and she likes climbing on me.
A black cat is a great match with black trousers or a black skirt. My 🐈⬛️ Zephaniah agrees 😊
Black cats are awesome 😻. Mine is a demanding snuggler! Lol
Proud member of the Black Cat Club! 🐈⬛ Plum's fur covers all 😂
@@kristinestocker What a great name for a cat!
Congratulations on acquiring a mini panther 😊😊😊😊. I miss my beloved Miu Miu 😍😍😍. I don't care about fur on my outfit, it just means that I have a fur baby that loves me 💗
Blown away yet again by how practical and user-friendly your tips are, Alyssa. I thought your camisole top underneath your black bustier with your lacey black skirt was an absolutely fantastic idea. You looked stunning! I love the feminine romantic trend as it probably fits with my three words (which I still have not locked down, can't pick my third 🙄). I totally agree with the more fitted blazer as opposed to the oversized, and your use of the obi belt took it to the next level, in my opinion. You are just so inspirational ❤
ahhh thank you so much for the kind words xoxo
@katem3961 Hi! I have also been thinking about my three style words, and I recently watched a video with Christina Mychas in which she had a styling session with the person who originated/popularized the three style words concept, and the stylist had some interesting things to say about the “categories” of each style word…I believe that she said that she thinks about the first style word encapsulating the way we generally style ourselves now, kind of our comfort zone, the second word as embodying our aspirational style or what we want to draw into our style, and the third word being a reminder of how we want to feel in our clothes. It’s been helpful for me to consider that as a sort of template in finding my words.
Love your channel!, and all of these tips!! My favorite: "What will make a look feel cohesive and fresh is keeping it all within the same saturation." I've never heard that particular tip/slant on viewing separates. Thank you for your efforts and sharing your talent with us here! It's on the top of my fave fashion channels! 💗
thank you for the kind words!
I am working on my summer wardrobe switch, and you just gave me a new insight, on how to mix and match what I already have . So thank you
Wow, what a beautiful video, first time I see such a deep and interesting analysis of the trends. Thank you very much, Alyssa ❤️, I learned a lot from your attitude to trends and from elements of style technique that you shared 🙌🏻
i'm so glad that was new to you!
Very insightful analysis of how trends can be interpreted.
thank you for watching!
Thank you for sharing. Black looks great on you.
Thank you for watching Lynne!
Another thoughtful video. Great analysis on the trends. Thank you!!
Wow, thanks for the surprise on a Wednesday! It is fun to check out the trends and you always are able to make me find something in my closet that is trending
Thank you Kathy! I'm so glad you were able to find something new in what you already have!
YAY Long lines are my favorite and they're IN!
Pastel and black: so chic!
A great guide that makes sense of the Sp 2024 trends AND helps me identify items from my wardrobe I can use or adapt.
J'aime beaucoup ton approche de la mode❤
Merci beaucoup!
Your trend videos are the official start of a new season for me - thank you! I was so happy to see an obi belt included! I have one and am trying to figure out how to style it in a way that feels comfortable.
I just love your willingness to experiment. I have a tendency to go out shopping when I don’t like an outfit I’ve picked. It’s a long-term, wasteful solution to my perfectionism. The willingness to try things without pressuring yourself is really important in reducing shopping for me and I love that you model this!
Very helpful ❤ great reminder that we don't need to add anything in our closet. I realize I can tweak and use what I Sustainability is a big concern of mine, thanks ❤
I use the sandwich method a lot. Also love monochrome because, at 4’10”, I need to make myself seem longer, haha😂 Thanks for the suggestions!
the sandwhich method is my hand's down favorite styling tool :)
Thanks for adding a unique observation of all these subtle trends, I love it! Like the yellow+black and the way bags were held on the runway.
I love working with monochrome styling and using a jacket 🧥 or accessory to create contrast. And a scarf🧣 can really enhance the texture of the overall look.
This was very informative, Alyssa! Thanks so much. ☺️🙌
Scarves are a game-changer 👍
@@clarathordiss3663 aren’t they, though?? 👍
Love all the styling tips, again!!! Thank you.
Best spring trend video of 2024! Thanks
Terrific video Alyssa! So helpful!❤

Bravissimo Alyssa.

I love your videos. Very smart way to look at wardrobe and outfit making.
Excellent video! Always pleasure to watch ❤❤❤❤
Loved this video. How you distill style, recognize and are able to communicate the different elements so brilliantly is your uniqueness. I’m going off to find your podcast 😊

Your video quality and content just keeps getting better and better!
I always love your videos on trends. I have a very small, curated wardrobe. (We live full time on the road in 200 sq ft!) I appreciate you showing us ways to use what we have and wear them in more of a trending way. Thank you! - Michelle
As usual great video Alyssa. Like they say mwha ❤. You show us how a true stylists is. Style colour and tensions. Your talk is designer. Some bloggers dont what they talikng about. Keep up we love it❤
Well done Alyssa 👏🏻
Very informative as usual. Love your channel.

thank you for the refreshing perspective on style and clothing "restyle" yep
Wow, that was great! Thank you! Lots of angles to think of as I will be re-evaluating my closet this week. Have a great one! (hi from Vancouver)
Informative and interesting as usual. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Your content is so informative! Thank you
Alyssa, the black top you are wearing in this video is lovely. Do you mind sharing where it's from? Thank you!
It's fun watching you as I live in the southern hemisphere, so, it's autumn going heading towards winter. I don't live in a cold climate so what you wear in spring I can adapt for autumn/ winter. Fun for me 🎉🎉
Thank you very much, Alyssa! You helped me to change my mindset about clothes and it is really wonder! Seeing my pieces and (most important!) new styles as elements of style helps to chose from what I have and see my wardrobe in completely different way! I am very grateful to you for that, it is something very special you give us woth your knowledge and your work!
And by the way sooo fascinated with your trip with girls, you are amazing team, each of you has very different view and vibe but together you are treasure!
aw Anna thank you so much for these words they mean a lot! I'm so glad you found this video helpful and that you are enjoying the podcast! xx
This has given me a few ideas to try out this weekend, as it’s raining !!!! Thank you :)
Love your channel and shop your closet! I’m always tempted with new styles (work in high end retail).. I think twice before adding to my wardrobe
Very nice instructive video. Bravo!
Excellent ALWAYS❤❤❤
Great tips🎉
Love your take on this topic Alyssa 😊❤
Thank you Wren! xx
I feel inspired!!❤
Always solid info. I am not sure that many adults want to wear too many ruffles at least not yet. Snow. ❤
Just found your channel. Really enjoying!
Very beautiful outfit for sharing ❤
I literally don't know how to dress myself. I wear uniforms at both my jobs so I just basically follow everything you say but I aspire to one day add my own flare to my style :) Thank you Alyssa for all your content! Its so much appreciated!
I like all your vedeo good ideas ❤
Great and informative 🎉❤
I love feminine skirts and dresses 💝❤️I don’t have pants at all anymore
excellent
My favourite outfit is the blazer with this belt. I wear blazers with belts all the time. (X bodyshape).Greetings from Paris
Alyssa, can you PLEASE tell me who makes that black top?? Been looking for that EXACT style FOREVER!!
It's Cos! 100% merino!
Any suggestions for wearing a pashima
❤❤❤
Omg where is your top from? ❤
❤
Im from the Seattle area, the 90s influence for me is very different from this interpretation
So so glad to hear you say "carry" a handbag 👜 as opposed to "wear". So many fashion influencers/stylists say "wear".😮Why is that?? It is so erroneous to say the least!
For many fashion influencers English is not a mother tongue, and that's may be the reason 😅😅
Things I carry such as books, grocery bag, and the like are not a part of my outfit. My handbag is an element of my style so I wear it.
What is that little tag under your shirt!? The two little purple gems?
That is her audio microphone thing for recording. It’s clipped to her shirt, and the lights on it are showing
Thank you. I was so curious.
my mic!
I always think it’s a hassle to put on and remove a belt from a blazer when you want to put on and take off the blazer. It looks great but not very practical for me. I would never wear it as a top unless it was lightweight like a blouse.
it's definitely a look i will only wear if i know i want to keep the blazer on!
Hi Alyssa🌷plz do a video on how to organize a huge closet
Ralph LAWren he’s not french.
It drives me nuts. He is from New York not France as you said 😂
I’ll skip the exposed garters and see-through tops (with no bra). Glad you didn’t highlight those trends!
@ *LVGUCI* You are so well-informed about luxury accessories and bags. You've obviously done your due diligence and the comparison to the US is very informative...because of course, I live in New York. thank you very much.
Does anyone know the reason why runway models always look like they are angry?
They haven't eaten for a day.
They are often farmed out to millionaires.
Designers think it is cool.
Facial expressions take away from the clothes
