In this story, she shares how she’s been diagnosed with 5 different cancers: adrenal carcinoma, breast cancer, melanoma, thyroid cancer and sarcoma. She discusses the different treatments and surgeries she’s undergone and how being an advocate for her health has saved her life.

Hello! I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in late November 2021. This was after 2 years of random symptoms and visiting 5 specialists none of whom picked it up. It took a trainee GP to connect the dots. I’ll forever be grateful to her. Going through a cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment (RCHOP), looking back I can see I was ‘stripped back’ from everything I thought I valued. I now realise what I was valuing was connected to my ego, not my true self. I’ve now become much better connected to my true self and am still learning. This process was helped by regular sessions with a psychologist and post treatment getting into practising Vedic Meditation twice a day. I truely believe this Vedic meditation is a form of energy healing - I’m now cancer free and living my life in a much calmer way. My old self was very driven, focussed on achievement, and always planning, striving and willing things to happen. I think this living with chronic stress contributed to getting cancer. I now live a very contented slower life where I feel happy and get joy from unexpected places.

Currently a 29 year old stage 4 breast cancer patient. I have been learning to forgive and embrace self love. I have learned the importance of setting boundaries, and not comparing myself to other people. There are so many things I am continuously learning every single day. In addition, I have learned to be grateful for every day and person through my journey. Gratitude relieves so much anxiety through the process and having a positive mindset really does help. With that being said, it’s important to remember that we are human and if we are having a rough day, it’s okay.

I was hospitalized last nov 2022 I was losing platelets and red blood cells. Long story short they found a lump and I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. The dr said it was aggressive. I started target treatment and did 12 rounds of chemo. On my last round of chemo I got my PETSCAN back indicating no evidence of disease. Then a few months later I was diagnosed with stage 3 Colon cancer. ..and recently my CTDNA test came back negative. I have learned so many things mainly though NO ONE knows your timeline or how long you have. It is also important to surround yourself with people that say YOU GOT this! and even when you don't have it they are still there for you. I am blessed to be ALIVE and thriving. I am living proof you can still live through it!

Wow what a testimony you have. 🙌 Thank you for sharing. 😊 I actually lost my Mother, Father and Father's Father all to lung cancer, my Mother's brother to throat cancer but both of my Grandmother's and my Father's sister all diagnosed with different types of breast cancer are all survivors. I was actually scheduled for a cyst excision today but due to being sick the appt was cancelled. However all my Dr, nurses, all the scans I've done I feel like instead of going through with a major surgery like that that maybe the cyst aspiration is the way to go. Praying you continue to strive in your journey.
