She explained very well. In 1996 i was told i had ovarian cancer because of high ca 125 and a swollen belly full of fluid. I was told to agree to an appendectomy and hysterectomy but they had not confirmed if i had cancer or not before surgery. So i only agreed to the tumor removal. Turned out i had an ovarian cyst and a fibroid growing on a stalk outside my uterus attached to my peritonium! The fibroid and cyst were removed and i had no cancer. Ca 125 went back to normal. I also got clots in my leg after and a clot in my lung before surgery. Never had a problem after.

My daughter had appendix cancer, she did have pain and they took it seriously. Why they did the CEA level for an ovarian cyst ? Is that common ? Because I only see CEA level on patient who they suspect cancer. This is crazy that they discover it that way. If the gastrologist surgeon didn’t join, they probably wouln’t have find it.
@marievepaquin-bergeron8975 CA levels aren't always cancer testing they can be raised for various reasons inflammation for example. I worked with a lady who had this rare appendix cancer also about 20 years ago, she is alive doing well and getting ready to retire. There were only 2 hospitals in the United States at that time that preformed the surgery she needed and she went to the hospital that was about a 6 hour drive. I don’t remember them removing all the organs like they did with you but they did scrape and wipe down internally with chemo and then poured chemo in her abdomen and rolled her mechanically on a table for a long time, to wash her insides. Whatever they did, she has lived, she saw her children and grandchildren grow up and about 20 years of life that they really didn’t give her much hope without the procedure. Medicine has come a long way - I wish you the best - I hope your healing goes smooth and quickly and life treats you the best- you so deserve it after going through this so gracefully! Many prayers
What an intelligent, strong, and courageous woman. Great sense of humor and beautiful to boot. Amazing the body can do without all those organs. It can vary person to person but usually within 12 weeks the pain eases off but 12 months for full recovery from fatigue and groin lower back ache I have experienced x
This is such an uplifting story. My sister suffered for many years from this disease at a time before it was understood or even classified as a cancer. As a result, her treatment was piecemeal and prolonged over that time, with her abdominal organs being removed one surgery after another, along with part of her lung. She did have that heated chemotherapy treatment but by then it was too late to be effective. Consequently, I thought this diagnosis to be hopeless. It's not. Thank you for your testimony.
Thanks for this video. I had my ruptured appendix removed in March, told 16 weeks later they found cancer during the biopsy. Thankfully my scans and bloods are all clear. I'm starting my journey with Basingstoke for the HIPEC and I'm very nervous about the whole process. Your story resonated. I'm also 39, and lost my father 2 years ago to bowel cancer.
My oldest brother and his daughter both had cancer of the appendix. My brothers was quite bad, part of his colon had to be removed. A couple of years later, he passed from Leukemia. My niece had an appendectomy and was fine after. I had my appendix removed in 2020 and luckily was appendicitis no cancer.
What a brave person you are. I can’t imagine going through even 1% of this ordeal. Your strength is inspirational. Thank you for sharing your story and raising awareness and giving hope to others.
Faye, you handle things as they come. You're a beautiful inspiration to survive your cancer. I hope there is a way you can become a paid/salaried survivor to help new patients. You have a very matter-of-fact attitude towards health and illness. Get strong, live your life. Enjoy the world as only you can.
If not treated on time this can lead to having what's called the motherload of all surgeries. It's when the organs are scrubbed and it takes hours and hours. I cared for someone who had it and they're doing great many years later.
@@fayelouise7113 Ah ok, I stepped out of the room and missed the better part. You did great because it was VERY rough going through it for my relative. Even though they call it a pseudo cancer, her oncologist did not put her under any treatment but watched her for 5 years.

ive been watching quite alot of these videos and something ive noticed is that alot/most of these people say they had an active or healthy lifestyle....i dont understand what it implies. are these people chosen for this channel so other people know that "healthy" people also get cancer? are those people the ones that get cancer more? it shouldn't be the case ,but if the majority of people you bring on, have the same story, the message gets quite distorted and confusing.

Thank you for sharing ❤
A very good friend of mine had this exact diagnosis and operation and the HIPEC in 2020. It is a major surgery and full recovery took a very long time, but she is doing great and living her best life again. She had bloating that wouldn't go away and this is what it turned out to be. She is truly brave and so are you. Keep on healing and well done on spreading awareness. 🤗
I'm always grateful to hear people are doing wel it gives me alot of reassurance that I desperately need. Was she low grade? My 1st scan is November x
@@fayelouise7113 I will see her later today and ask. She had everything just like you had to have removed etc. Because it was during Covid her husband had to just drop her off at the hospital in Miami and wasn't allowed to even go in. I will show her this video and ask her to answer for you. (I'm also English, but in Florida.) She just had clear scans two week ago, she has to go every six months still.
@xMichelex I am annual so she may of had a different type to me low grade seem to be annually I had LAMN tell her I wish her the best and thank you xx
How can you survive without many organs in your life? Is there pain lifetime? Or any medicine to keep on?@@xMichelex
@@fayelouise7113 My friend Lauree said she had LAMN like you. I gave her the link to your video and she said she will comment here, maybe you can connect with her. xx
I just learn yesterday that i have a appendice cancer but do not yet know what type ,thank you for your video
Have they done a biopsy? I hope your low grade and treatable x
Wou thank you so much for this Video. i have also 8 weeks ago an HIPEC operation here in Germany (sorry for my Bad englisch) but i find nothing online in german About The Pain and how long it takes it that i feel better.
It can vary person to person but usually within 12 weeks the pain eases off but 12 months for full recovery from fatigue and groin lower back ache I have experienced x
Thank you for sharing your story. This means a lot to some people, you bring hope
Thank you❤
What a tough lady!
Treatment has really progressed over the years for PMP yes a mammoth op but still here to share my story and bring much needed awarness worldwide x
Sat here with my mouth open. So sorry that you had to go through that
Thank you yes been an ordeal but still here to bring global awarness xx
Thank you for sharing your story. Very inspiring ❤❤❤❤
A mia madre lo pneumologo ha detto che il suo adenocarcinoma scoperto per caso stava li' probabilmente da dieci anni
Yes it is possible x
Thank you ❤
You are so beautiful ! God bless you . Wish u well
Thank you so much xx
Wow that is sad.
Faye, you handle things as they come. You're a beautiful inspiration to survive your cancer. I hope there is a way you can become a paid/salaried survivor to help new patients. You have a very matter-of-fact attitude towards health and illness. Get strong, live your life. Enjoy the world as only you can.
Obviously its not that rare because everyone in this comment section claims to know someone with this.
Over how many years mate??? Google it then come back to me don't question my journey
Per case PER YEAR comments where people have it 2017 2018 2022 etc 🙄
Wow she lost 22 lbs just from removing all those organs!!😮
Yes also due to not being able to eat much food for a few weeks x
Bless your beautiful heart ❤️ I’m so glad you’re doing well. Stay strong 💪 I’m sending you so much love xxx
Thank you ❤❤
If not treated on time this can lead to having what's called the motherload of all surgeries. It's when the organs are scrubbed and it takes hours and hours. I cared for someone who had it and they're doing great many years later.
@@KMyer that is what I've had MOAS x
@@fayelouise7113 Ah ok, I stepped out of the room and missed the better part. You did great because it was VERY rough going through it for my relative. Even though they call it a pseudo cancer, her oncologist did not put her under any treatment but watched her for 5 years.
@KMyer yes watch and wait but I was given this operation if I get recurrence in future as I'm Low Grade LAMN I will have watch and wait more than Likely which will really torture me tbh x
@@fayelouise7113 It's going to take several years before you can relax and not think about it daily. I'm also a cancer survivor and while it doesn't go away, it gets easier over time. The stats are in your favour which means you can lead a long, healthy life. My relative was an extreme case, so much so that surgeons came just to watch the operation. She runs circles around me now.
Thank you for all your kindness ❤❤
Thank you for your concern for all. That makes us worry and pray for you. 💕💕💕
Brave woman bless 🙌
ive been watching quite alot of these videos and something ive noticed is that alot/most of these people say they had an active or healthy lifestyle....i dont understand what it implies.
are these people chosen for this channel so other people know that "healthy" people also get cancer?
are those people the ones that get cancer more?
it shouldn't be the case ,but if the majority of people you bring on, have the same story, the message gets quite distorted and confusing.
I didn't smoke and drank on occasions and I was active that is my healthy side x
My goodness, you went through a lot! Glad you are healing well.
My 40 yr old sister in law just was told she has days to weeks to live cancer in 5 places. I'm bringing her to my house to care for her😢
Very sorry to hear this 😢 sending thoughts your way x
Wow you are Beautiful young Lady giving hope to a lot of people. What you have been through is definitely the Mother of all surgeries, and here you are with your strength and resilience, and your Never giving up attitude. It’s people like you that give hope to many, who find themselves in your position. God Bless you and good luck with your life ahead ❤❤ love from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Ahh thank you so much ❤x
You have an amazing attitude. I’m praying for you!!!!

You are amazing. ....😊
i’ve said it before and ill say it again. i’d rather visit an african witch doctor than one of these corporate doctors/hospitals.
You’re AMAZING💪🏼!!! Thank you for sharing your story to raise awareness 💛💛 !!
❤ thank you x
Your cancer tumor markers were the same for me but i had stage 2 Ovarian Cancer. My CA125 was out the roof
Mine was slightly raised nothing of concern said it was cyst x
When I was 15, in 1971, I was seized with severe stomach pains. I was sent to the hospital for exploratory surgery. I had a large ovarian cyst and an inflamed appendix. Both were removed. My friend's mom died of some sort of appendix cancer, goblet something?
Goblet cell is the really aggressive one 😢x
Aww ❤you are an inspiration ❤ such a strong woman!! Your story will help so many people in the future 😊 thank you for sharing xx 😘
Thank you ❤

As you may know, Cancer thrives on sweets. So, stay away from those sweets, Sweetie!
My consultant and surgeon told me to have cakes and things that help me gain weight. There is no rock solid proof what causes cancer red meat etc all a myth x
