1) I don't think that Germany would ask for any economic reparations from Britain. There was no way for Germany to enforce this policy, unlike the French in 1919. Germany would need to do everything it could to open trade and good relations back up with the West. 2) Britain and France would never agree to a complete peace with Germany taking anything west of Alsace Lorraine, and Germany would not want to deal with occupying these territories, which were full of people who were not German. Germany would likely demand the breakup of Belgium, but would probably even vacate Alsace-Lorraine itself if that was a contention (perhaps, as some suggested, this would be an issue to be resolved in the future). 3) If Greece were to enter the Tripartite Pact, they would certainly ask Germany for support in the case of Bulgarian or Italian aggression. Without the war in Europe, Germany would have no reason to take the Italian side. 4) The USSR likely would collapse without any foreign allies in this scenario, with Germany quickly recognizing a new Russian government led by anti-communist / defecting Russian officers.
11:26 important to note that Steel Man believed that liberals are something called "Social (Insert f word referencing bundle of sticks)". This was a core part of his ideology, and why he thought the UK would invade the USSR if Germany did.

Dude, you think Britain would let Germany be the hegemon of Europe? You may have criticisms about the British Empire, but there is no way Britain would just hand over Europe to Germany.
@@mariosgame516 An Axis-victory would be terrible in regards of what Germany planned for Central and Eastern Europe. The Holocaust would be even more deadly than on our timeline and massive germanification would take place, erasing entire cultures and making the whole Europe essentialy an extension of Germany. @@mariosgame516 I find a little worrying that you are much more annoyed about the British Empire's collapse than the idea of an European continent in which if you're not german you'd be basically screwed. Also, you are upset to the fact Britain stood its ground to continue the fight against Germany, but it's totally okay to suggest Churchill should've just allowed Germany to build and consolidate its deadly empire in which every non-german would suffer tremendously. What kind of hypocrisy is that, if I may ask? One more thing: the ideia the German leader wanted peace with Britain is not that accurate. Allow me to tell you a bit about Directive No. 6, made in October 1939. There, the austrian guy is making plans for an offensive to the Low Countries and France to defeat most of the French Army and to engage in air and naval battles against Britain. That doesn't really sound a guy who wants to avoid a fight against the British. He may not have expected the Allies to declare war, but it's not like he was going to back down and avoid confrontation. Now, you're right about one thing: Churchill DID love his Empire. A lot (especially keeping India under British control). But he absoluted HATED the idea of a german hegemony in Europe. And so he sucessfully rallied the people to continue the fight and resist the N4zis even after the fall of France and the constant air bombings.
Let's say for part 2 that Japan, after the I.J.A.'s autonomous adventure in Manchuria, sends there all the involved officers to "Manage a Puppet State", effectively distancing them from the country's internal politics, ensuring that Tojo has more difficulty at becoming Prime Minister, in favour of someone more "Liberal" (still imperialist but not so extremist as Tojo). I say this to ensure that the Pacific War is as avoidable as possible by avoiding the Sino Japanese War to be between China and Japan, but instead between China and the Manchurian "Puppet State", with Japan that tries to cautiously stay out of the conflict (still supporting the Manchurian State in the underground but not officially), so avoiding, officially, the American Intervention, and so, the need to attack Pearl Harbour, but by instead starting a Cold War between the U.S. and Japan, along with a Procure War in China.
There is no way Britain is agreeing to reparations, she’d rather give African territory to Italy than that. And there’s even less of a chance that she would impose tariffs on imports from the empire.
This isn’t meant to be a very realistic scenario, that’s PHs scenario. This is just a more alt hist traditional scenario where he explores the implications and impacts further. Obviously any peace would be very short term just to buy time to rebuild and reposition to enter back into the conflict later as the only long term peace deal was going to be the full restoration of Western Europe, which Germany would never accept.
In my opinion, whether the Allies are still fighting the Germans isn’t a major factor in the outcome of Operation Barbarossa. The USSR should have performed better in this scenario, as Germany would lack the element of surprise that cost the Red Army entire army fronts in reality. The African front was relatively small compared to the Eastern Front, and without a second front drawing resources, the Soviets wouldn’t be caught off guard by a German onslaught. I think Germany might be able to reach a stalemate with the Soviets without additional fronts draining resources, but grinding them down would be nearly impossible. Even if Britain surrendered, it wouldn’t change the outcome on the Eastern Front; far more would be needed to shift the balance of power in Germany’s favor. While the USSR might struggle to achieve complete victory without landings in Italy and D-Day, it also wouldn’t collapse. Remember, this was a war of annihilation, and with such goals, victory for Germany would be impossible against 180 million people.
Wait, is this the same account that said Germans are subhuman? Maybe just the same profile picture, but funny if the same account. Also, as to the argument, the USSR would either have to invade Germany as soon as it was clear that there would be peace or scrap all plans of expansion and go into a full defense in depth in preparation for a German attack. Also, it wouldn't be a war of annihilation. The fact that there were entire divisions of Russians, Ukrainians, Cossacks, Tartars, Chechens, etc., fighting for the German army against the USSR is evidence of the fact that the people did not have this unified hostility to a German victory. Regardless, the idea that Germany would even attack the USSR in this scenario is doubtful. There would simply be no reason to do so. Britain was not an enemy anymore, and there would reach a capacity for how much the USSR could grow. Even if the USSR attacked and took Romania within a week, Germany could get its oil through Turkey from Iraq and Persia, and basically every European power (as well as Japan) would side with Germany against the USSR.
