Sorry bro. Wanted to watching some grading, not the trailer. But it is a nice trailer dont get me wrong, its just not what i came to watch this video about. Should of made a separate video. Than you would get views on this one and tell people u made a separate video for the trailer and than get views and what not for that. 🤷🏽♂️ just saying. Prob why u got the dislikes, for this reason.
I’m looking at getting a mini excavator, needed to make sure that the front stabilizer blade can be used for to grade. Thx for helpful vid 🙏🏻 Any tips from anyone using this to level and grade?
@@hlc8085 Thanks! Can you also say what kind of steel you used for the replacement pin? Is it 4140? You bought a bar and then turned it down on a lathe? I think the pins are 30mm, right?
I picked up a 2’ piece of hardened 30mm round stock at my local steel yard. I didn’t need to turn it down, but I did use zirconium sandpaper on the lathe to smooth it out. I also picked up some 30mm steel collars from Amazon.
Very nice build, good job. It wouldn't be legal in my state though. There is no battery backup for power to an emergency break away system. There should be a small break away box with a cable to the tow vehicle. If the trailer for some reason separates from the vehicle, the break_away cable is pulled, causing the trailer brakes to engage so that the trailer just doesn't keep rolling. It stops by using the back up battery power to engage the brakes. Other than that, it looks like you did a fantastic job. I like that you crossed your chains. You would be surprised by how many people don't do this. If the trailer pops off the ball, the chains should catch the tongue of the trailer.
It’s a vio 15-2 from yanmar. It weighs 3,800lbs. It has adjustable tracks. It’s about 3’1” with the tracks in and 4’ with it extended all the way out. 🤙🏽
You're Exavator Looks Cute
Please rename the vid to focus on trailer
Awesome job on trailer 💪🏼
Trailer looks good, nicely done.
Wow. Makes me want to trade in my tractor for one of these. Good job on the grading.

Same. Came for an excavator video, watched a trailer video. 🙄
Cherry set up perfect for quick jobs. Good work with the trailer build. Any problems when you had to register and safety check the trailer?
No problem doing the safety and registration.🤙🏽

Hi, is it possible to say how thick the steel is on your thumb? I also have a Yanmar Vio17 and want to build one myself.
I used 7/16 thick flat plate.🤙🏽
