    Here's a tip for anyone running such a tiny machine. That blade in the front actually should be positioned to the rear. Anchor it to the ground and you've moved the pivot point of the machine farther back resulting in the ability to apply additional downforce to your bucket before the tracks lift off the ground...

      @@hlc8085 Thanks! Can you also say what kind of steel you used for the replacement pin? Is it 4140? You bought a bar and then turned it down on a lathe? I think the pins are 30mm, right?

      I picked up a 2’ piece of hardened 30mm round stock at my local steel yard. I didn’t need to turn it down, but I did use zirconium sandpaper on the lathe to smooth it out. I also picked up some 30mm steel collars from Amazon.

    Texas Pride, that’s a nice trailer. I have a US Built which is made by Texas Pride Trailers, 14’ X 14K X 7’ goose neck w/telescoping cylinder in the front. Do you haul your Yanmar 35 in the dump trailer, if so how does it fit?

      I have not put the yanmar 35 in the dump trailer yet. I made a 7’x18’ 14k flat trailer for the yanmar 35 excavator. I’m pretty sure the dump trailer would work great, it’s 16’ long. But I did recently put my yanmar v4 loader in the dump trailer and it worked out great.🤙🏽

    Very nice build, good job. It wouldn't be legal in my state though. There is no battery backup for power to an emergency break away system. There should be a small break away box with a cable to the tow vehicle. If the trailer for some reason separates from the vehicle, the break_away cable is pulled, causing the trailer brakes to engage so that the trailer just doesn't keep rolling. It stops by using the back up battery power to engage the brakes. Other than that, it looks like you did a fantastic job. I like that you crossed your chains. You would be surprised by how many people don't do this. If the trailer pops off the ball, the chains should catch the tongue of the trailer.

    Nice job. How think a steel plate did you use ? So if you curl the bucket does it just push the thumb back in? Assume just blows the relief valve on the AUX line.

    • @hlc8085

      Thank you... I used a 7/16 thick steel plate. That’s what I had just laying around in my steel pile. It has a relief value, so when I push the thumb with the bucket it dose go back in.

      @hlc8085 4 роки тому

      My vio15 came all plumbed from the factory. The cylinder mount was already welded to the machine. I just needed to find the right length hydraulic cylinder to use. Once you have the cylinder, then you can take it to your hydraulic store to find the right fittings for it. If your machine is already plumbed for it, you need to take the hydraulic plugs/stopper with the cylinder so they can determine the fitting size from the machine. Hope this helps!👍 Good Luck!
