As a Swede I am really thrilled you finally got yourself a slope bucket. There have been plenty of times when watching your videos where I have thought that a grading bucket would have made all the difference on a job. And now you got one! Here in Sweden grading buckets are on more or less every excavator.
Same here in Finland. Some bigger excavators have maybe tilt only but almost all the smaller machines have tiltrotator. Not really a thing in the US for some reason.

It's amazing how handy a tilting bucket is, even handier is the engcon tilt rotater once you get used to the so many different jobs you can do it becomes essential and you wonder how you ever coped without one. Great videos thanks
I know that was a test drive but that bucket is way more for clean, slick finishing a job. Chris of Letsdig18 had one made for his Volvo 220. Awesome tool ! 👍👌

i think he was just doing that for giggles and he just wanted the hill pushed back. testing the waters on the tilt and how it would be used w/o looking like an idiot with fresh equipment at a normal job.

That looks great! I have Long thought you needed a bucket with pivot and 360° spin. Many of them even have a little set of finger-pinchers that open out of the back for grabbing little things. This is certainly a good start. Finishing buckets are just nice to have.
With the equipment and jobs he's done in the past, can you just imagine how much more he'll be doing this year! Between Andrew & Jessie they can build a City LoL
I love how you take every piece of machinery and equipment to the last breath. Nothing wasted. Bare minimum gets the job done. Your ingenuity and balls to take on whatever is in front of you. Good on you and your wife/ gf. Dogs seem to like going on jobs with you.
Nice new bucket with the tilt function. With all of different types of jobs you get, I would have liked to see you get a bucket with the 360 degree rotating head capability which would give you the front scooping feature. About time! I highly recommend that and even better with quick attach coupler from where you sit or even better roto-tilt :) I have done alot of sitting in excavators and for sure the best time was when i got to the tilt-rotator. It made digging so much better efficient and better result :)
Andrew makes it look like anyone could just hop in an excavator and get to work. Everything looks so smooth an intentional and easy. I'm if I tried I would find it very difficult.
Kean and katie..try riding a snowmobile at 60mph into a 30mph wind at minus 5 degrees across a frozen lake for miles in northern Minnesota...its what we do..when your actively moving around in such cold you really don't feel it unless your just standing around doing nothing except thinking about how cold it is

I’m very happy to see you trying the tilt now we need to find a full tilt/rotor system. Andrew once You try it you can’t go back to a standard system. My Hitachi USB65 came from the factory with it. Great informative video and great as always to see the pups.
I guess testing a new bucket in frozen ground is a great way to find out how good it is. It was interesting when the camera was on fast forward you could see how much ground those two dogs could actually cover. The end results are very nice.

I have a feeling the slope is gonna keep sliding and creating that overhang as material under it slides down. You could make a cool retaining wall, or seed it with grass to keep the soil in place!

Nice bucket! Can't go wrong with a tilt grading bucket...so useful in all kind of applications.
My favourite videos are when you are running the Kubota excavator. I have the kx-161 model and its awesome, gotta get me one of those tilt buckets!
I reckon the bank will erode again and leave a new overhang, exposed tree roots. Good work with the bucket though.

What you need is a rototilt with hydraulic quick connect, with a hydraulic grapple on the back side. And more hydraulic valves and stuff to use it. ;)

Said in a prior video he just freezes himself out untill he acclimates to it lol.
It’s actually not that bad after a few days you just get acclimated. Like taking a cold shower, it sucks at first but you get used to the temp.

Rototilt is a best thing i ever worked with. When you try it u wont come back to standart. Have couple years of experience with rototilt.
