Hi, I'm a beginning IG user. Just wondering why your combo is different than mine? Is it because of your equipment or is it based on the nectars you give your kinsect?
Is there any reason as to why you didn't use challenger in this particular run :)) Is it cause molten tiggy is enraged for too short of a time? or maybe cause you couldn't gem it in cause your weapon has no slots?
+CantaPerMe yes i think i did bad that question, which one would be good to craft whe you just ended g3? i Know there is a convenient set for every monster but which would you recomend to do first? Thank you again¡ by the way im using star knight and i think its too mainstream.
Why do you say you could have gotten a better time with tidal glaive? Doesn't the seltas one have more raw? Or would it not be the raw damage but the element that helped?
+Genaro Carabay Tidal Najarala IG has more element and affinity while the difference in raw attack is rather minimal. I did the math and it does more damage on average against Molten Tigrex.
+CantaPerMe right I forgot it has affinity. With your set it's at I think 25% affinity, and that would help too. I see why it would benefit more in the long run. Nonetheless, a very good run indeed there. Keep up the good work. I enjoy your videos and you do so well at this game. Your not perfect at it, but your pretty damn close to it!!

molten rex isn't genuinely difficult. a good amount of my carts came from being trapped at a wall due to his bullshit charges, extreme size and a really small area, and annoying as hell blast clouds. brute and ordinary rex are much fairer due to the larger area you typically fight them in, and are not so big that multiple charges cover most of the map
+The Soul of Silver true, but I don't find him a genuinely difficult fight. molten pretty much spams roars and charges in charge, with an occasional spin to send you flying to get some distance for a charge combo. saying that molten uses different attacks for different situations is applicable to ever monster tbh, since they all have attacks to use when the hunter is in a certain distance away from them, or the opposite
I sticked to its right side, so that I could use i-frames to dodge his spin. It was a bit hard to avoid his charging attack but it is managable. Good job.

Challenger +2 deactivates on its 2nd rage mode.
Really nice run ^^ Your i-frames timing on his screams are impressive :o
Wouldn't be Challenger 2 more effective than Weakness Exploit though?
Challenger+2's a Temporary Buff to damage whereas WE means a more constant output since Not 100% of a Motion value is outputted into an attack.
Molten Tigrex doesn't go into rage often enough.
