You know I have always doubted the makeover story. Priscilla said in Ladies Home Journal when Elvis was still alive that she attended Patricia Stevens finishing school where she learnt how to apply make up. She admits whilst there she over did it with the make-up because she was going through a Cleopatra stage. She goes on to say that she wished Elvis had said something but he must have liked it because he never commented. That doesn't sound like someone who was being made by Elvis to look a certain way as she claimed later. Yes the majority of the photos are of her with black hair but there are some photos even before the wedding when she blonde and a redhead, probably trying to copy Ann-Margret.
