Oh, by the way, I wanted to mention that I recently bought a Midi captain duo, (2-button) midi controller (very easy to program). and used your video to help me set up a talkback mute on my XR18 using just my vocal mic and not splitter! The band was very impressed with my tech wizardry.... but I got the idea from you! Thanks again Scott
I was so tired but I couldn't call asleep. I'm glad I had a "sleep token" I could use to get some rest. I would really appreciate this gift. I have a band that is trying to get to the next level in equipment. Thank you
Great in-depth review as always, Scott. The workaround for the RF scanning is very clever, never thought of that trick, thanks for the tip. More power to your channel and sleep token!
Thanks to you I used the Anleon S2 for over a year. I loved it and it worked well, with only a few dropouts, but cut out at the last gig around 50 times over 3 sets. So I just upgraded to this one today and I hope it'll be more reliable. Thanks for all the information you provide. it's really helpful.
I've had this system for a year and have had nothing but problems with it. Until this video, the “bodypack scan trick” helped tremendously! Thanks for the informative videos!
Love the video explaning the things to keep in mind when using wireless systems. It's crazy how often we discard wireless as just a unite to plug in instead of really considering the impact of radio frequencies that exist in the signal flow. It really is a sleep token for the mind
G4 is better if you can afford it…. And they have the SR2050 if you can go above the G4 as well. Just depends on your needs, not every band needs the best of the best
Great vid Scott! I’ve always enjoyed your stuff, especially your backing track content. It helped me out immensely on a recent tour with a band I play in. It was pretty stressful though. So much so that I had to negotiate an amendment to my employment contract when I got back mandating a required nap time. Every week I’d get two hours to myself without having to do any work and still get paid. The only catch was, I had to use it to catch up on some much needed sleep, nothing else. So every Wednesday since then I notify my boss that I was logging off and going to nap for a couple hours. I’d log my time in my timesheet with a special project code, a “sleep token” if you will, and go to sleep. Then I’d wake up and start the cycle all over again. It’s helped immensely, but not as much as your backing track vids helped me succeed on this tour!
Helluva laser show at that sleep token concert! Just like a helluva overview for this system Thanks for the all the tips and tricks with gear. Learnt so much already and always waning to learn more. Cheers Scott! 🤘
Scott, your videos are always both instructive and entertaining. I surely will not fall a- sleep token because I don't need drugs to get through your video! Thanks again...
As always... awesome, informative and easy to follow video, so thank you Scott. Now if only i had that Sleep Token to sync my sleep patterns with yours.
Thank you Scott for the informative vids! There are so many of us that are just modest weekend musicians, and certainly on a budget while we work and raise families, etc. Your videos really help all of us chose the gear we be need to make our music more enjoyable for all! Very well spoken, which rhymes with Sleep Token!! Lol
Hi Scott, thanks for the great video! I also got me the xsw iem some time ago and am really very satisfied so far. and thanks for the music tip. I didn't know "sleep token" yet.
Thanks for the epic review Scott! I'm definitely interested in this system, almost as I much as I was interested in Sleep Token when they first started out!
Sleep Token is great band name. I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of the RF scan trick with the receiver. Great tip. BTW, I suggested “Random Dads” as a name for my latest band but the algorithm gods wouldn’t have it.
That IEM system looks very nice! I remember once when I was playing that the audio guy asked me what frequencies my IEM used, maybe because it could have conflicted with the antennas on stage for the mixer. I've seen those in quite a bit of concerts. That time I had those very cheap transmitters in the 2.4GHz range so no issues for him, but I'm curious and on the fence about these other IEM systems, as mine compress quite a bit and sometimes distorts. You also made me curious about Sleep Token, never heard of them lol
Hey Scott, another great video as always. If I were to win this Sennheiser IEM system, that would be amazing as I've always wanted to play like Sleep Token🤩
I just bought this model of monitor. It is replacing the entry-level model of Shure IEM. They worked perfectly for a dozen years. The Sennheiser model is much more complicated than the Shure ever was. I'm having problems with the noise in the background and finding a good frequency. When and if I ever find a good Frequency will the background noise go away? I've watched your vid several times and noted a Squelch control is on the higher-end monitors. This was never a problem with the Shure's. Thanks for taking the time to consider this.
If you don’t have a good frequency, it doesn’t matter which system you use. The PSM 300 are definitely an easier system to use, but this shouldn’t be too complicated. Likely you just don’t have a clear frequency is my best guess
I'll definitely check this out whenever I upgrade my IEM's. My IEMs are from 2008. Sleep Token is what I think of whenever certain cultures use coins over the eyes when someone dies.
Looks like a good system. I would probably class it more as a mid-tier price range when compared to some of the other wireless IEM systems you have reviewed, such as the Xvive U4. Although, that's only a mono system so perhaps I'll get myself a SLEEP TOKEN to enter the giveaway and hopefully experience what a stereo system can offer. Keep up the great work, Scott!
Yeah, I have classified those other ones as either “cheap” or “budget friendly,” where as this one is an “entry level” one and EW system is “high end” 🤘
Scott, you provide a lot of great information in your videos. I think I've seen them all. Looking to get into an entry level in ear monitor system. Will have to save a "Sleep Token" or two to get one. Keep up the good work!
Hey Scott, love your awesome (in Germany we call it "ERKLÄR BÄR") Videos. So Sleep Token would say, that a "Erklär Bär" is a person who explains something with every single detail and much love. Thanks for everything
Thank you for the review, Scott, very helpful (as always). I’m planning to go wireless soon, so videos like this are much appreciated. Never heard of Sleep Token, but I’ll check it out!
Amazing review! Just bought Senheiser Xsw2 for my guitar and it was the best decision I’ve made for a reliable wireless. Really like your content, and huge thanks from a Brazilian follower/subscriber. Now excuse me, brb, I’m gonna comment on a SLEEP TOKEN post saying “COME TO BRAZIL”.
Sleep Token. This system would be perfect for me, in 2 worship bands after not jamming/gigging for a few years. Scott, I did buy the CCA-C12 IEM's that you recommended, they're fantastic!
Been in the process of finishing my iem rack and just 2 recievers short sennheiser is always a good option for sure. Sleep token is such a good band and I hope to see them soon!
I bought this system as i couldn't strecth to the EW system and its been great. and yes the Sync feature isn't great. SLEEP TOKEN. Loving the videos Scott !! Thank you, my go to for Music Tech reviews
Hey Robin, congrats you actually were the winner of the giveaway. You can see my post in my community tab to confirm. Please respond to that post so I know you did see this, and then reach out to me on my website or instagram (links are in the description of the video) and I'll get this sent out to you. Remember, I'll never ever ask you for money. Cheers, congrats, and thanks for following the channel!
This was an awesome Sleep Token … and a seriously good vid… I have a 3 piece where 2 of us will be on iem’s and we will have a wireless mic a wireless guitar and potentially a wireless bass player on stage hoping it would be suitable. Cheers Chris
I think that would be fine with this system for sure. Just make sure they aren’t all in 1 rack together with the antenna farm, and you should be good 👍
Thanks Scott… in the same rack will only be my wireless mic and the IEM unit… I will definitely consider the trick of running it in the stereo split mode to minimise additional RF/TX with my bass players system… our drummer is in a wired monitor solutuon
Great video, just like the one you did with the EW300 system 👌🏼because of your last video extra simplified, our band now uses the EW300. Thanks “Sleep Token”
Another really helpful video - thanks 🙏 We're also in the EW vs XSW loop and think this is possibly for us as we do small venues with the only other wireless being a Shure Beta58 Mic.
Just bought the XSW! We would love the EW but the XSW is less than half the price in the UK and we're a duo playing bars across UK & Europe with very little wireless contention. Thanks again 🤗
SLEEP TOKEN is a bucket list band to see live. Thanks for the content, we are currently saving money as a band to get the shure PSM 300. We are a 4 piece so drummer will be wired and the 2 guitars and bass will be wireless so getting two transmitters and 3 receivers
I've learned a lot about gears since subscribing to your channel. Thanks! Recently I've noticed that I've been watching your videos as soon as you publish them. Oh, here's some sleep token. For all your efforts and hard work.
Another detailed review. I appreciate your review style. Easy to share with others and be fairly sure they will actually learn something and I won't have to translate every important point. Looking forward to checking out Sleep Token.
Oh, by the way, I wanted to mention that I recently bought a Midi captain duo, (2-button) midi controller (very easy to program). and used your video to help me set up a talkback mute on my XR18 using just my vocal mic and not splitter! Nice! Glad that’s been working for you. The midi captain is pretty killer!
Answered all the questions! Thank you!
Thank you 🙏 I appreciate that, and I’ve actually thought of making a separate video on the topic itself 👍
I’ve learned so much about wireless in-ears from you. Our band is moving slowing to in-ears so this is very helpful.
Nice! Glad to hear it!
That Sleep Token show looked amazing!!!
Sleep Token is my new hit single! Thanks as always!!
Thanks for the Sleep Token updates Scott!
I've had this system for a year and have had nothing but problems with it. Until this video, the “bodypack scan trick” helped tremendously! Thanks for the informative videos!
Thanks for sharing, glad you found that helpful!
Great video Scott! I didn't know them before but I'll definitely hear more the Sleep Token.
Wow, thanks Scott! Glad you enjoyed seeing Sleep Token at Red Rocks. I’d love to see a show there.
It was 🤯🤯🤯🤯
Love the video explaning the things to keep in mind when using wireless systems. It's crazy how often we discard wireless as just a unite to plug in instead of really considering the impact of radio frequencies that exist in the signal flow. It really is a sleep token for the mind
I seriously need this SLEEP TOKEN in my band. Thanks for the review!
Great video - I'm off to listen to some Sleep Token now.
Enjoy! 🤘🤘🤘
Good timing, trying to decide between XSW & G4. Sleep token 😀
G4 is better if you can afford it…. And they have the SR2050 if you can go above the G4 as well. Just depends on your needs, not every band needs the best of the best

It’s helped immensely, but not as much as your backing track vids helped me succeed on this tour!
Hahaha and im glad you’ve found the videos so helpful 🤘
Better than the actual Sennheiser video. I like your honesty. I give this a sleep token thumbs up!👍
Thank you 🙏
My band, not Sleep Token, is in the process of getting our IEM system organised and this vid is super helpful thank you!
Nice! Glad it was helpful 🤘
Beautiful review Scott, love the sleep token feature.
Great review! I’ve listened to SLEEP TOKEN quite a bit. Great band!
Good job on the video. I especially appreciate explaining the awkward backwards sync feature. Sleep token. Thank you again.
Helluva laser show at that sleep token concert! Just like a helluva overview for this system Thanks for the all the tips and tricks with gear. Learnt so much already and always waning to learn more. Cheers Scott! 🤘
The lasers were 🤯🤯 and thank you!
Scott, your videos are always both instructive and entertaining. I surely will not fall a- sleep token because I don't need drugs to get through your video! Thanks again...
I’ve been wanting to get into IEM. Love the video. “Sleep Token”.

Hi Scott, thanks for the great video! I also got me the xsw iem some time ago and am really very satisfied so far. and thanks for the music tip. I didn't know "sleep token" yet.
Great Video ! SLEEP TOKEN is my favorite band right now !
Same here 🤘🤘
Thanks for the epic review Scott! I'm definitely interested in this system, almost as I much as I was interested in Sleep Token when they first started out!
Awesome review as usual. I'm definitely going to check out Sleep Token! Always looking for great music!
Thanks for the review, I love "SLEEP TOKEN" too. This would work great for my band.
Holy cow thanks for suggesting Sleep Token. Cool band!
Glad you like them!
Sleep Token is great band name. I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of the RF scan trick with the receiver. Great tip. BTW, I suggested “Random Dads” as a name for my latest band but the algorithm gods wouldn’t have it.
Another great video thanks Scott. Looks like the Sleep Token show was amazing.
It truly was!

Thanks Scott. Another great video. I appreciate you educating us on gigging gear. Oh yea, Sleep Token too.
Thanks for watching!
Great video. I really like the drummer for Sleep Token.

Thanks, Scott! Sleep token ftw
Great review as always! Sleep token ain’t jokin
Hey Scott, another great video as always. If I were to win this Sennheiser IEM system, that would be amazing as I've always wanted to play like Sleep Token🤩
Looks like a nice system. I love that you share bands to check out, playing Sleep Token now!
Nice! Hope you enjoy 🤘

This is really great. I'm very interested in the Sleep Token feature, I don't know why other manufacturers haven't thought of that yet!
As always, Scott, solid. Glad you got your Sleep Token fix and tanks for being so generous with the giveaway.
I always try to give back when I can! Thanks for following the channel
I love your equipment reviews and instructions….you get a sleep token !
I appreciate that!
I have never heard SLEEP TOKEN but I will check them out. This would be a perfect gift for a singer I work with. Thanks for all the great info!
I'll definitely check this out whenever I upgrade my IEM's. My IEMs are from 2008. Sleep Token is what I think of whenever certain cultures use coins over the eyes when someone dies.

Another banger of a review, and a nice gesture to give a shout to Sleep Token.
They are getting the recognition they deserve now. That album is so good!
Great video as always Scott! I guess I need to give Sleep Token a shot! 😃
Thanks for keeping us up to date on new gear .i need a sleep token .
Good chance to hear Sleep Token. Nice video! Very helpful and well detailed 😀
Thank you 🙏
Great video as always, and thanks for the sleep token, I could totally use one!!
You talk about bands like Sleep Token and RF bands! Keep on doing what you do as I'm always learning from it! I hope I win too!
Looks like a good system. I would probably class it more as a mid-tier price range when compared to some of the other wireless IEM systems you have reviewed, such as the Xvive U4. Scott, you provide a lot of great information in your videos. I think I've seen them all. Looking to get into an entry level in ear monitor system. Will have to save a "Sleep Token" or two to get one. Keep up the good work!

Great video! Btw I love SLEEP TOKEN.
🤘🤘🤘
Thanks Scott, always great info. Always scan if you're in a wireless Band😄
Scanning is always a good idea! But not 100% necessary with this workaround :)
Sweet! Never heard of Sleep Token but checking them out now. Thanks for all the great info in these vids 🤘
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for doing this review there Scott. I also dig the music from "Sleep Token" as well.
Thanks for watching, and glad that they are now getting the recognition they deserve 💪
“Sleep Token “ ? Interesting name .. lol I’m not familiar but I am very familiar with your informative videos!! Good job man
Great info. I've been trying to narrow it down between shure and sennheiser and now I've got another option lol
Nice! Glad it’s been working well for you 🤘🤘
Using this product for over a year and love it. I do share it with our singer and have 2 bodypacks. We definitely need a SLEEP TOKEN 2 go stereo
Nice! Glad it’s been working well for you
As a bass player in a local weekend warrior band your videos have truly helpful. Thanks so much. SLEEP TOKEN
Glad to hear that!
Great review as always 👍 Going to finally see Sleep Token myself as well in November. Cannot wait for that !
Nice!!! Enjoy 🤘 it was so good!
Another great video. I wonder how Sleep Token sounds with these 😁
Nice reviews, thank you! Wireless Bands video was great. SLEEP TOKEN!!!

If you get a chance to see them, they are so good live! Vessel’s vocals and the light show are 🤯
@@ScottUhlMusic oh I believe it! I've watched some live footage on UA-cam but definitely gonna try and make it to a show soon
I bought this system as i couldn't strecth to the EW system and its been great. and yes the Sync feature isn't great. SLEEP TOKEN. Loving the videos Scott !! Thank you, my go to for Music Tech reviews
