Great little review. Thank you! I personally like to calibrate the transmitter gain by sending tone at -18 to the transmitter and adjusting the tx gain to match that level.

That is a great way of doing it!

Detachable Antenna. Nice. But no Network Port?
    That's a no-go for me..

Hello, I have another question for you. I use background music in my work on stage. Unfortunately, they have different volume and dynamics. What device - plug-in available in x32 should be used to equalize the levels of these background music? A regular compressor does not always help. Regards!

There isn’t an equipment profile in WWB for XSW IEM. What parameters (channel and intermodal spacing) would you use to coordinate XSW IEMs?

Pro tip, of your wife that satisfying “pull off the plastic feeling,” let her do it. She will forget you just got a package from Sweetwater.

Hi, the XVive U4, would be great to hear and see what you are thinking about them. I´m thinking to start with them into the In-Ear Monitoring Space for our Band, we are maximum 6 people and would need 1-4 different Streams.

For a first time experience for wireless in ear, it is worth a try - BUT - it uses the 2.4 GHz band. No pro or semi-pro would use those, as is interferes with bluetooth and wifi devices. I used it for the past year and as soon as there were digital mixers and other devices in the room, I had a lot of problems. Before buying 6 of those, I'd highly recommend to invest in something better. One time the FOH engineer couldn't use his iPad cause my Xvive U4 interfered - so yeah, that was my experience

I have a question if you’re using a wing and you want to pan maybe aux a little bit to the left for an iem stereo bus, would that end up just panning it to the left for the entire mix or just for that iem stereo bus

On your WING, select the channel you want to pan, then on the screen select the sends page (on the bottom left of the screen), then you can pan that channel to any of the IEM's that you want to pan it to.

So far the review is missing some important info. Are they analog or digital? What bands do they operate on?
11 minutes in. View of the front. UHF I see. Where i live there are no UHF frequencies available.
    13 minutes in. Oh analog.
Looking at it from the belt, upside down. If that was a design choice, it was a poor one.
Sit, large metro areas UHF is unstable for unlicensed UHF band.

There are basically no digital wireless IE solutions on the market afaik.

Yeah, the only real digital IEM currently out on the market (not in the wifi and ISM bands) is the Lectrosonics M2 Duet, however is in a WAY different price range. I'm hoping other manufactures will start getting some digital IEM's out in the non wifi and ISM bands. I find that there is more unplanned interference in the ISM and Wifi bands than on UHF. Yes UHF is full of tv channels, however most of the time you can fit some in overtop of the lower power channels. But I do hear ya, in some markets, RF is full of stuff already.

My personal experience with this as a live engineer was horrible, nowhere near the reliability of g3/4 models.
