- The 1794 Edition is all new for the 2025 Toyota Sequoia. On the outside you will notice a unique grill, TRD OFF Road Pkg and silver accents. On the inside you will be greeted by a full western luxury interior. Under the hood is a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 paired with a hybrid system and mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. That's the most irritating thing about this vehicle and the main reason I will never ever buy this Sequoia. It seems they are cheating their customers with that horrendous cargo area, just so horrible.
I would rather have an 2025 Tahoe RST with the 6.2

Except it's unreliable. Would only get it if it's a lease. The new armada base off the new QX80 is the best choice for full size SUV.

New Sequoia is a big miss. All of that external size and it's smaller than some midsize 3 row suvs inside specially that rear cargo space with shelf due to battery compartment

The gasoline only version on the Tundra and LX600 is the one having problems. The twin turbo V6 Hybrid version on the Sequoia is unaffected

As much as I like the Sequoia, the cargo area is still a huge zonk for me, barely usable. And it gets worse considering the price range.
It is not user friendly whatsoever
I am looking at the new armada or the QX80
I miss the 5.7 v8. It May be a gas hog, but no twin turbo issues. I feel that way about all naturally aspirated cars. Bad mpg, but the engine will last forever with no forced induction.

My thoughts exactly. If Toyota would have just put the 10 speed tranny on the 5.7, we may have got close to 1/2 the MPG improvement without all the problems associated with this new generation. Tundra/Sequoia was great, but not anymore.

The redesigned sequoia is a huge disappointment. The 3rd row and rear storage is a lot less space than the competition. I am looking at the redesigned aramada or just get the new QX80. Toyota need to come out with a grand sequoia. This vesion is pointless for people who needs a full size truck. Very disappointed the X7 has better 3rd row

This is a monstrous vehicle with a joke for second row and third row seats. I watched your legs at 15:17 (I have a family of 6+ footers) and this must be a joke. The third row is a joke. It must be.
Honestly you might as well make it yet another 2 row SUV with a massive cargo area in their lineup and let the Grand Highlander take the 3 row buyers, because it’s honestly embarrassing the lack of space you get for the “full size SUV money” and I love Toyota… but they really killed the point of owning one of these

That is how I use my Sequoia as a 4 passenger SUV with a large cargo area. Works for me.
Toyota needs to get rid of that little stupid thing in between the second row seats and put something like the Navigator has. And do something with that third row !

I prefer a tohoe or a new nissan armada. They have some comfortable spaces, and in general they look much nicer cars
Great car. I've never had a need for sliding 2nd rows, or met people that put adults in the 3rd row because those are "non paying customers". The cargo area is functional for anybody who puts their mind to for the versatility.

I would rather go with the 2025 Denali Yukon Ultimate all day.
It's a bit of a mystery to me why this model isn't sold in Japan, even though the Land Cruiser is.
Not a fan of the black and chrome combo. The real reason why toyota “removes” the volume knobs is because they’re breaking left and right and there is no solution identified. The inside looks okay.
No cargo area and I m not interested
This 1794 logo will not solve the cargo issue so Toyota needs to open eyes and starts working on customers necessity than meaningless logos

Strange that there's less room in the 2nd row, 3rd row, and trunk compared to the grand highlander when the sequoia is supposed to be larger.

The 5.7 sequoia is the best Gen - the only one which all the seats folded flat and has the v8 reliability but didn’t compromise on power. Yes this new one is night and day to the old one except for reliability and for 70-80k the seats don’t fold flat, no offense but that’s a waste of a money pit for not even being practical of that size - better off if you get this vehicle if you don’t have kids lol or 1 kid tbh the cargo space is laughably bad for this price but the power and interior make up for it

Question, what make and model is best for Baby sets, the sets that small children have to raid in take up a lot of space when setting backwards, my son and daughter in-law have a 3year old and by December will have another child, most all auto and SUVs fall short in back set space, even those that call them full size, I think the only auto that will work is a minivan, any thought on this issue

You look the appearance of the suv, is it nice? Full body color is great but it doesn’t match with it wheels black. For me it looks ugly. They should be put the chrome instead.😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

My aunts have a 24 capstone and I’ve been in it a lot more often lately and I gotta say, these are definitely better in person than they are on camera. Now ik isn’t the most spacious on the segment but just for the 2 of them and 4 on road trips it’s more than adequate. The TT V6 is hella quick especially when you floor and it just sounds aggressive from the inside.
Only complaint I have about it, is the rear vented seats. Idk if it’s the one they have or in general but they don’t seem to work all that well, almost as if nothing is pumping out. Second thing, the ride is nice but over bumps, it does not soak them up very well considering it’s a 80 grand suv. Now for 25 almost 90. Hopefully they improved upon that.
Other than that, I would say this one of the better options in the segment if having the most space doesn’t matter to you

Toyotas Gets one thing correct and rest other doesn’t make sense to see how a customer is practically uses vehicle .. that’s second row doesn’t slides worst thing for third row passengers , if a full size fam of 7 atleast come in tho that suv . where is in the heck ur going put a full size luggage probably on toyotas head .. next the price tag for a crap piece of wood which is on the glove box .. not worth to spend that much toyota just coz u have fancy taco interior.. HUGE PASS
