Vinny got me to actually download this mod and play it. And oh my gosh there is an absolutely broken beam weapon that will shred basically anything as long as you can stay alive long enough
I'm so happy vinny won the run, and that he saw one of the rhymers, he got sooo lucky the sector he jumped to also had a rhymer cause otherwise he would have missed it lol.
I LOVE this mod, the only complaint is that the Storage Menu (internal upgrades) are somewhat easy to ignore. I do think the separation of augments to be "internal" and "external" augments, where internal augments can be gotten anytime, but the UI makes it easy to forget that's a thing you can do.
Imo, there's quite some important stuff there like Medbot dispersal, the upgrade on Doors that stops people phasing and teleporting around your ship, and late game doing Weapons upgrade to increase firerate just by a bit is good too.
I'm loving this series, there's like just a handful of playthroughs of this mod out there so this is very delightful and full of mysteries and surprises.
Remember that the mod should include an official plugin to automatically generate all the missing ship-destruction debries. You may have unchecked it during installation or during application via mod manager.

1:00:35 Not to be a nerd but the Federation had signed a peace treaty with the Romulans agreeing not to develop cloaking technology and in DS9 they had no problem using the cloaking device loaned out by the Romulans for the Defiant.
This mod is a lot to take in. I have played hundreds of hours and still have so much to do. I hope Vinnie does not let chat get to him and plays it for at least a little while. Seeing him manage at least one secret ending would be nice.

That way all those shots will miss you and the enemy weapon firing progress resets. If you cloak before the enemy weapons fire at you, the weapons' progress simply pauses and then resumes, firing at you, after you leave the cloak, which is a lot worse.

You should be cloaking after the enemy fires shots as you get an extra 60 evasion. If your engines are high enough, that's a guaranteed miss
