I love this film. It would have been so easy (and cheap) to condemn the rich, spoilt sister - which was what the whole film was building up to for at least half an hour - and it still would have made for a good film. I'd forgotten all about this until it started. What a fabulous programme it was, and all down to the brilliant writing of Victoria Wood. Also, the acting. Imrie, Walters, and Wood, what a trio, and one-third of the Dinnerladies cast here, remember! And we all know what a fantastic programme that was.
