The process on creating a Stop-Motion animated film be it Aardman, Laika, etc. is an interesting process and I admire on what the animators and crew members are doing when bringing the characters to life.
Thank you for the astute and well put together comment Ernesto
😀😀
The finished product looks so gorgeous and oozes with character in a way that I haven't seen achieved by some of the mass-produced CGI animation. It's really special that these types of productions are around, considering the nature and competitiveness of the industry
I'm so grateful to artists. The human experience would be so much dimmer without their creations.
truly!
Robin Robin is a beautiful piece of art. I wonder if it's harder to animate using felt than to use more solid puppets like they do in Laika movies. Everything in Robin Robin looked so soft and cozy. It gave the movie a "warm" feeling to it. Like a fuzzy pair of knitted mittens on a cold Christmas caroling.
Art and creativity is so meticulously, and it’s a crafting process. If you want the result to be good it takes time and real effort and lots of it.
This movie was one of the highlights of my christmas season this year. Just absolutely amazing to watch!
For real for real...🤞
Shaun of the Sheep! 🐑🧟♂️ clearly the narrator was thinking about two films at once! (Shaun the Sheep and Shaun of the Dead). Two VERY different watching experiences! 😂
Lol I caught that too- though, funnily enough, I'd say both films would sit well in the same household!
An Aardman remake of Shaun of the Dead ... yes please :)
Dawn of the Sheep
Shawna the Sheep
@@ma.belle.evangeline I need to see that!
This movie is 32mins long and took two years stop motion is really difficult but the results are worth it 🤩
Every once in a while you realize the amazing creativity of human beings.
These kind of style of animation is really beautiful and legendary!!!
This is absolutely amazing. I've always been so fascinated by stop motion since I was a kid because one day a claymation educator visited my school and allowed us to make our own super short claymation vids. There are so many layers to stop motion movies these days, it's really just awe-inspiring.
Never let stop-motion die!
It's mindblowing to me that people actually have the patience to do this
Aardman was such a huge part of my childhood. Love Wallace and Grommet (that theme will forever live in my mind), I now love chicken pot pie because of Chicken Run (even though it was depicted as a horrific death factory in the film... maybe there’s something wrong with me 😆) and Flushed Away is truly underrated. So glad they’re still out here making stop motion despite all the hurdles they’ve faced over the years.
Always wanted to be a stop-motion animator since I was a kid, LITERALLY the coolest job in the world!! ❤️
im so impressed i cant even put it into words
loved this movie and amazing how much creativity and effort it takes!
Never seen this, never really liked stop motion but this looks epic. Makes me wanna do it.
I love Aardman films so much, Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run were a huge part of my childhood
i love how they make sound easy but there eyes are about to burst into tears>...
I'm so glad we still have stop motion movie producers
Absolutely love Aardman and what they do, so really interesting to get such an insight into it.
When I saw the trailer and saw the texture of some of the puppets, I was wondering if they had used needle felting and it seems they did. That's a very time consuming technique, but it looks so good💛💛💛
Such an adorable movie! So fun to see needle felting in stop motion. Genius!
Thanks for revealing the production stages of stop-motion animation❤️✨
This looks amazing!
So intricate, can’t wait to watch this!
Stop motion can be so hard to produce for anyone like me...its required editing skills , patient, financial support and creativity
Incredible fast production. It's great that are still possibilities for such a crafting art.
This film is so unbelievably adorable you can't help but love it.
when i walk past their studio in bristol ive always wondered what;s going on, this is beautiful
these guys must be the most patient people in the world...
This was very pleasing for the eyes. Love 'real' stuff.
I'm a really impatient person. I can't believe how much patience and effort they put for every scene in order to create stop-motion films! This job isn't for me.
These guys are definitely masters of their craft.... Nice job 👍👍
*That is a DEDICATION*
Vi esse stop motion a dois anos atrás e minha filha tinha acabado de nascer, assisti junto com a minha esposa e a sensação foi maravilhosa, fazia tempo que não tinha assistido uma obra de arte como essa.
Shaun of the Sheep is a good movie, but I hope we won't have to wait too long before another Wallace and the Gromit film. A sequel to Chicken the Run would be neat, too.
I don’t think there will be any more Wallace and Gromit, as Peter Sallis passed away in 2017. Fairly sure Nick Park said that Peter’s voice was so important to the character that they wouldn’t be able to do it without him.
Stop motion has always been amazing !
A well planned project is half way done! Kudos to the team
People working in stop animation have got to be some of the most patient people on the planet.
This looks fabulous! Now I need to go find it.
the Stop-Motion is always beautiful. i loved
The texture of everything!!!!
phase 1 pre production 0:43
phase 2 building 1.58
phase 3
phase 4
phase 5

That is an amazing technique of animation, and learning how to animate, I know how these people did these films now! Hope the history of animation gets better 👍👍
I'm happy that ardman is brining the magic to the new genration of kids
I'm gonna be completely honest, I thought the ENTIRE film was computer generated graphics. I am absolutely stunned by their quality.
This is beautifully intricate! So many details! I love movies like Coraline and My Life as a Zucchini. So cool 😎
I saw that animation movie a few nights ago/ days ago it was AWESOME and soooooo asthetic
What a wonderful insight!
This reminds me of how Coraline was made and that was like 11 years ago
Big respect to you guys!
They have more patience than a long line at the DMV
This film is a masterpiece!!
Que enfermizo y estúpidamente hermoso es esto. Arte puro... amo.
This is great Robin Robin was sooo good
Craftsmanship it's what it is! Amazing
You should do an auto complete with skrillex
how do you do the snow 🥲 like how do you know frame by frame where each snow piece is going to fall
This movie was awesome!
That's awesome and I'm going to watch it on Netflix
Can't wait to see it.
for a split second i thought the thumbnail was the "woman yelling at cat" meme
I swear I heard him say "Shauna the Sheep"
Wait, *everything* is captured in-camera? Wha...?!
Did this already come out!?
I didn’t see it advertised since hearing about it!
It's already on Netflix
I loved this film🥰
I loved this film
This film is kinda like the animated version of a cup of hot chocolate during winter season
the movie is quite uh... short. but it's exciting I loved it!
havent heard of aardman in a long time, really sad flushed away or that pirates movie didnt get a sequel or anything, pretty good movies :p
Interesting that they use Dragonframe, I always assumed Aardman had in-house software. I suppose there's no need to reinvent the wheel
It's a pity that stop motion is a dying art, which is understandable ofc, but man is it my favorite animation style
We still got aardman and laika holding it down tho lol
We still got stopmotion youtubers still doing the art
what do they use for animating liquids and water?
0:10 “Shaun of the Sheep”
8 seconds of footage per week…..amazing!
Only at Aardman you will find...
the *_CHEESE_*
Awesome
So friggin cool
Awesome!
,cool video keep up the great content.. Thank you…
Is Nardwar the voice over?
I was really hoping they would go into how they remove the rigs and scaffolding in the image :( beautiful explanation otherwise
Shaun of the Sheep kills me.
Such a cool movie....👌
i love robin robin ❤️🧡
Amazing
I miss the damage cams
"Just a tiny amount..."
Anyone fancy a pint?
I would pay to watch a behind the scenes movie (series)
I ❤️ @WIRED
Amazing❣️👍
So where can I watched the human version?
Amazing!!!
Imagine running out of space in the camera while filming this
I only wish my animations were good
Hmmm, shooting stereoscopic to bypass rotoscoping...interesting...

Excelent!
So dope
