The decoupling(it's no longer derisking) will further leave China behind in future tech except in areas and products where China can copy fast and produce in volume.
You are under estimating China domestic market and technology advancements. Manufacturers and industry sector contribution about 30% China GDP, but China service sector is the main contribution to China GDP about 50%. China makes the most money from domestic consumer. Decoupling is a two-way street. If the West loses the Chinese market, corporate profits will be significantly reduced, indirectly affecting the ability to continue innovating.

It just means Huawei or others have found work arounds to make a limited batch of advanced chips but even those are unverified and certainly NOT commercially viable. The latest 7nm chips were found to use TSMC chips and ASML DUV tech with multiple exposure but that has ONLY shown a limited and very expensive result. Again, not a viable route. As for Chinese companies making their own Chip equipment and tech industry that is slow and not always anywhere near as good which is why these companies in China are still trying to find ways to skirt sanctions and going back to using western equipment. The chip industry China has at the moment is due to the west allowing China to purchase chip companies in the west or IP. Allowing China to continue buying legacy equipment and software. Allowing ASML to service that equipment. Intel literally training a generation of Chinese chip engineers. China didn't just "figure" it out in a vacuum. China "quickly" closing the gap is at best generations away and at worst a win for the CCP propaganda machine. China WILL figure it out eventually but by then the west will once again be far ahead in critical tech due to China constantly having to play catch up.
China did not invent or create 5G network, electric vehicles. China wasn't the first country to launch 5G network either. Whatever they are doing, USA is or has had done it before. China is really good at copying and making it better but when it comes to invention, China is still way behind the US. Innovation is there but US is still leading in terms of AI. Electric vehicles, autonomous, cloud, robots, CHATGPT etc
You are either living in India or under a rock.
@ not brainwashed you mean :)
China ranked 32
by stealing and spying
Stupidity 😂brain washed idiot
Good boy, the western Propaganda has been well assimilated
@cardett75 The amount of dumb people on UA-cam making dumb comments is alarming high.
@@badimpulses17 I call this type - SBT (severe brainwashed troll).
@jye7027 They hate because their own race is lagging behind, they don't want to see another Chinese race doing better than them, it just human nature to be jealous.
Oh you mean theft. I don’t like liars. Don’t not recommend this channel
You mean stealing ideas and IP.
So they stole ideas and IPs the US doesnt have? You Western people are cringe.
Your humanoid form is also a copycat, did your father steal you from some Joe?
US so stupid, so can be stealing his ideas
But it's true China has been stealing ideas and IP's from the west for years.
@@ptssw5395 the answer is that you cant, hence why china will forever remain a borderline 2nd/3rd tier country.
Are you kidding 😂
They stole IP
Do yourself a favor and steal a brain. China's living rent free in that empty space up there
While China is the second biggest economy in the world it is not yet overtaking the west in technology. What it has is its vaunted industrial supply chain and its massive consumer market .China is leading only on paper. The creative industry,AI and cutting-edge advanced technology are still dominated by America,Japan,South Korea,UK or Europe. China ,however, still dominates manufacturing.
China is the world manufacturer, but China main customers are China people.
@bl5608
If that's true then China is not in trouble. Congratulations .
Decoupling is a two-way street. If the West loses the Chinese market, corporate profits will be significantly reduced, indirectly affecting the ability to continue innovating.
why some country is rich and some poor if african apple orange is same as american apple . what will happen if all countries ban trading and travelling other country can it will end rich country poor country
Africa as a continent is a resource-rich continent. The west has plundered it through colonialism, however, Africa is waking up, just look at the French colonies, they are kicking France out and reclaiming their countries and resources, the uranium and gold mines.
