I was kinda hoping to hear about something I didn’t know. the last big surprise I did though was assassination rogue I tried that out last week and was very surprised
I’m sorry but rogues do not need more abilities. Literally no class does - these hero talents NEEDS to be passives at this point. I’ve got 23 key binds on my disc priest. Wtf are we even talking about? Why do I need 23 key binds? It’s getting ridiculous. You need 3 hands to play this game competitively in some specs and that’s absurd. So passives are fine imo.
I really wish Blizz would allow Survival Hunters and Unholy DK’s to have a DW playstyle for those who might prefer it, or at least allow us to mog 1 2h weapon into 2 1h weapons for the looks and animations.
Cant decide between pala, dk, shaman, druid and mage lol. Leaning towards the easier ones atm. Would you say dk is complex for someone with s few hours to play per week?
@@deltawolfboth DK damage classes are pretty easy, they’re all about learning to manage Runic Power. If you want a really easy damage class, Paladin and Frost mage are very simple to play.
I can’t decide what my second will be. I always go into each expansion with a duo of characters and give myself the flexibility to let one take over. My default half for several expansions has been arcane mage. But i cannot decide what else to take. So much fun stuff right now
I just leveled 9 characters to 70 for no reason during the Radiant event lmao my issue now is I haven't played seriously since Cata? I played a little dragonflight but I have a sincere issue of finding people to play with. I have mods, I just don't know ALL the mechanics to EVERY dungeon so I get booted. :(
I played bm and demon hunter for the most time of last years and i spend the last couple of days trying out all classes on lvl 70 (thx to mop remix) and i really loved arcane and frost mage, suvrival hunter and frost dk. they feel very intuitive, well balanced and statisfying... with a lot of clarity, what to do. didnt have so much fun in a long time. they did a great job with class updates.
I've mained melee survival hunter since BFA and I gotta say I'm really loving the feel of combat with the pre-patch. Of all the melee specs in the game, survival is probably the best feeling class to play imo. - Hardly any downtime between abilities - Not overly complicated and yet not boring faceroll either - Very versatile in that it has a pretty even mix of melee and ranged abilities that are actually part of your main damage rotation - Very good mobility with disengage, aspect of the cheetah and harpoon (especially if you take the talent that makes harpoon's cooldown reset on kill) - Good defensives and overall survivability (this works in tandem with the fact that you can be out of melee range for periods of time to avoid mechanics and still deal tons of damage)
I dont know if that is the case here, but a LOT of big youtubers don't have timestamps because it makes people skip through the video to find what they want to see, making the youtuber less money
I think its funny that this list is so different from Bellular's list, at least in regard to rogues and hunters. Personally, I'll be maining my feral druid. Partly its because he's been my main since Wrath. It would just feel weird to change. I expect too, all these classes will be adjusted shortly after launch, they always are. Today's flavor of the week will be tomorrow's dumpster fire.
I've always told people to play what you enjoy playing, not the flavor of the week. You will always do more damage when you are having fun, not forcing yourself to play a spec you hate just because it's meta.
I noticed the same. Based on Bellular and Wowhead, I was not expecting to see rogue at all, and was surprised with survival Hunter too (though it’s also my favorite Hunter spec)
I have mained hunter since MoP, was beast master for MoP and WoD, but switched to survival in legion. Granted my hunter is no longer my main, that is my resto shaman.
The shaman earthquake talents are weird tbh. They literally added 2 versions of it when you could just a macro to make it cast on your current target. Very odd choice there. (Edit) I forgot for some reason you can macro @player for aoes but not @target. So that talent is only useful in pve mythic+ seems like a waste still none the less.
Frost will be good until the next patch then there absolute trash every time but its nice to see frost again i use to main it but swapped to warr got sick if getting gimped using the breath build
Unholy is strong as well in Beta... the DK specs both were simming very high....giving it strong consideration. Arcane Mage is a blast to play as well...as is the Shaman... .. I've had a Hunter main since Vanilla, so I will surely keep him leveled/geared...but might be survival this time around.. Of course, we need to see what happens after the tuning continues until first Raid is released.
Lets keep it a stack, rogue is not “incredibly fun” specially not Deathstalker which is probably one of the worst hero talents in the game and still a functional mess. Its only fun because its doing insane aoe damage 🤣
@@ThomasKun funny how there was 0 mention of assa rogue anywhere, and if there was it was always “awkward aoe with stealth spread mechanic, not fun, uninspiring hero talents”. All of a sudden they get a buff to make them OP and now they’re “incredibly fun”, “Deathstalker is great!” Even though the core gameplay loop is exactly the same. Its not my opinion, its obvious bias towards specs that top meters.
So true. Rogues and all their hero talents feel like an after thought. Making things like bone spike passive is great but when your hero talents involve increasing the usage of abilities you don’t normally put priority into like mutilate or increasing your auto attack damage, this shit fulfills no fantasy of a “deathstalker” and feels bad.

I don't understand the hype for elemental shaman the playstyle is horrible, it's just spamming chain/lighting bolt, I don't understand why do we need primordial wave, stormkeeper doesn't make any sense, it just feels bloated. Ascendance form looks horrible, the elementals that you summon look horrible, especially the wind/storm one. There are no customization options in the glyphs for those models, only some size reduce. I always was a shaman enjoyer, it's my wc3 fantasy, and I tried to play it and I was disappointed. I don't care how good it is, it just doesn't make sense.
True, they could change it so it makes earthquake follows the target its been cast on. That would be so big for eles. In higher keys tanks constantly move and therefore its hard to aoe as ele
I'd even take if Earthquake followed the shaman. Anything but 'we won't give you this, so you need to talent it'. I'd also love some love for Rocky. Fire and Storm Elementals get so much. I don't even want a permanent tank like Torghast. I just want to see my buddy more.
Slight correction: turtle is NOT an immunity. It "deflects attacks" which is not the same thing, as there are several notable examples of things it doesn't work for
The buttons feel good to press, you are tanky, you have clear bursts window and impactfull cooldowns, good CC, you have multiple viable talent builds, the Hero talents I think are pretty cool, and the issue you had with mobility can be fixed with said Hero talents or you have more buttons with the other Hero talent choice. I really don't know why people like it :thinking: I'd rather have a 6 buttons spec during Mythic raiding than DF Arcane that requires a PhD + the handling of the same mechanics.

Not gonna lie, 23 key binds is one of the lowest amounts I’ve ever heard.
I will say passives are fine if they actually give interactive gameplay.

Ima actually start with my Evoker. Preservation is just so much fun to me, after barely even touching it until S4 of Dragonflight.
