When the Ford Explorer debuted in 1990 it was quickly adopted by families eager to ditch their minivans. It helped to ignite America's love of the sport ute. It's been through a lot in the past 21 years, the 2011 model is a complete redo. Tom Voelk takes a look at the the top-of-the-line Limited model. That dash looked like it was hard plastic, just cheaply attached. I do like the way the explorer looks, its a very attractive car in red. :D
