wow the fit & finish on this Explorer looks amazing. What a well built vehicle. I saw one the other day and it was hard to believe it was a Ford !! What an amazing interior as well. The use of high quality soft touch materials makes it look even better than a high end Euro vehicle !!

I always rather have the 4th generation, but man this is quite impressive for 2011! I remember everyone was mistaking his for a luxury SUV when it came out, cause it sure is paced with tech. Nice job Ford

very few people who own an Explorer is going off road. There are other trucks for that. This one is for the suburbs. It does what its supposed to do well.

I think it's nice. Yes, it's not has muscular as the older ones, but then again those had a lot of problems. Ford needs to be successful in making reliable and strong vehicles.

Just inherited a 2011 xlt 4wd. 215,000 miles. The water pump blew at 200,000 miles, engine replacement was $5,000

Explorer has came a long way. Although it's now not as tough as it used to be with the body on frame chassis. But a majority of owners never take them off road.

Its a nice car, I have an older 97 V8 AWD abd it is great in the winter, much better than my Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited w/ quardradrive system. I'm now looking for a newer Explorer for my wife to drive.

This Explorer is fine for the people who think they need an SUV to drive on the street, but can those of us who want to actually go offroad have the old one back PLEASE!?!

@@2003BMW325i I just hope that doesn’t end up being! We don’t need cars costing more than houses! College already does! I live in the rural, and I can’t stand that newer vehicles are not only getting more expensive, but are breaking down more often and costing more to fix them! Not very reliable for people like me who drive 20-30K miles per year.

Look how cramped those back seats are. If you really need 3 rows of seating, you're better off getting the longer, bigger Expedition.

I dont understand the point of seat belt airbags, but whatever. I am sure it reduces your chance of injury 5% while adding 10K to the cost of repairing the car in the event of an accident, ensuring a write off if the airbags deploy.
