If you follow mma, basically all heavier fighters used, or use. Don't just follow people word for word. Steroid use gives you more confidence, if one was depressed, it brings one out of it.. when stopped, you generally feel lower unless you've had positive life changes. CTE doesnt start showing symptoms until youre 50-60 unless you REAAAAALLLLY over did it on your brain. Even james toney talked good through his 40s and he had 90+ boxing matches at world champ level.
I saw Alistair Overeem at a hardcore gym I used to train at in Holland around 15 years ago, he was the tallest and biggest guy there, made all the bodybuilders look like short stocky kids haha! :D
I have nothing but respect for Reem, met him at the Roseland in NYC for Strikeforce Grand Prix and he was such a nice guy he took a photo with me and pretended to punch in the face in the pic his fist was as wide as my forehead!!! I am 5 foor 8 170 he was an absolute monster. Then after he got popped and his chin totally went on him, he still managed to beat a ton of heavyweight killers which to me showed just how skilled he really was. He basically had to fight perfect fights as if he got caught he was going to sleep. Was so close to beating Steepe for the belt if only he he did not go for that guillotine

Alistair was caught using steroids most of his career. I know people want to shame those that get caught but the fact is a majority, if not all, of fighters were using it. It got to the point that those that were natural had to start using if they hoped to compete against those using. I agree with Jon Bravo because Allistair basically looks the same now after losing all the bulk as he did when he started his career. Great video once again.
Most of them use roids .I trained kickboxing for 9 years. All of the guys used.If you wanted to go to next level,or to turn professional U had to use.I see difference after they started to use roids .From normal 18,19 years old kids they become monsters in 6 months.

Overeem is naturally a skinny guy. Once he decided to inflate his physique with heavy PED use, his new muscles became his whole identity. That's why he ended up getting caught and blowing his chance at the UFC belt, he knew he couldn't keep being Ubereem without big doses of gear. It doesn't change what he's accomplished, steroids or not. To compete at his level for so long, taking steroids is a survival decision, especially when everyone else is. God bless you Reem!
Exactly I agree with you it was a survival decision he only took steroids to protect himself from the other guys from those cheaters otherwise he would never have taken it.
Yeah....I mean...it is still "technically" cheating, but you don't become the best in the world without drive, consistency, hard work, and talent. Almost everyone he fought was on gear so it's still a necessary evil at high competition levels.
I believe this to be accurate. I didn’t start testosterone until I was 38 but my levels were around 375 (pretty low) and my sex life was not what it should’ve been. 2yrs later I look the best I ever have and put on about 10lbs of muscle. My sex life js the best it ever has been and my wife is extremely happy lol. However, I too am aware of the fact this was a lifetime decision for me and I’m ok with that.
So true... I was afraid of taking steroids for fear of becoming addicted to them. People could not understand how I kept my size all year round. I never used steroids. I was addicted to creatine when it became a thing, taking triple the amount suggested. This created problems so I transitioned to the original suggested amount. I would see so many guys in the gym shrivel in size. You knew they were off of the juice!
Not related but i watched the RX Muscle interview from days after Leo his passing and i want to say i respect you for your words and the way you stood up for Leo. You're a real one
You’re not wrong Jon. I’m somebody that’s taken various compounds over the years. Test is by far the safest and easiest to maintain, other compounds not so much. Tren will make you Superman, but the come down from that when you finally decide to stop is a tough one.
Been on tren-e 20 weeks , kind of looking forward to coming off but the lack of the 3-d delts is going to cause a bit of mental misery , but i’ve mentally prepped myself in advance , can always get them back in the future , “what goes up must come down”
look at his early fights, he's naturally skinny. Since he's not fighting anymore no real reason to walk around with all that muscle. The man is nice and respectful to everyone and one of the greatest fighters to walk the planet. Thank this man for some great fights!
I’ve been watching Alistair since the pride days. His best years was fighting in Japan, and even when he crossed over to kickboxing. He’s always been one of my favorite fighters to watch but on a personal level, He doesn’t seem like a good dude. He’s known for knocking people out in the gym. Much smaller than him. He’s considered a gym bully by many UFC vets. That being said, I hope he’s able to make a full recovery!
The Reem hit the juice back in the day, he looked and fought like a Greek God. I have freinds who were serious body builders and on the juice, once you stop the testosterone and give up that T400 your natural endocrinological system collapses and your gains go real fast.
yeah most people dont realise that you will end up looking worse, they think you get to keep the gains. They dont understand that your hormones generally dont recover to previous natural levels. If anyone gets to keep anything its because they never maxed out there natural potential before and there hormones bounced back faster than normal. But everyone ive known to do roids lost all there gains once off, fast to
It's a perfect decision. The moment he stops fighting is the moment he stops having excess muscle. I am very curious to see how old the Reem will become. Perhaps he is able to reverse many damage he has done to his body in his 25 year career
Save time - He repeatedly got busted for steroid use. He is no longer on steroids so now he looks like a swimmer. Moral of the story, don’t ever take steroids, PED’s or testosterone unless your testosterone levels are legitimately medically low.
Everybody should be allowed to be on gear in any sport. I'm 41 and never going to stop and what he said about age and when you take it is true people at work or anywhere I go think I'm in my early 30's
no there should be 2 divisions in every weightclass. the real man division where nobody cheats and the pu**y division and there you can take what ever you want and everybody can decide what he wants to be. a real man or a pu**y.
I hope he's okay and lives a long & healthy life but let's not forget that this was a man who was notoriously known for his abuse of anabolic steroids. Let's not pretend he was this natural freak of nature😏
good for him!! too much muscle is not healthy. he woke up to what is real and this is a blessing and not a tragedy. it is a tragedy to the sheep and fools tho. he still got muscle
Also, let’s remember his physique now is his natural weight and size and actually looked this way when he fought chuck liddell. After that lose to chuck he came back years later and was the huge man we all came to normally seeing for decades. So he came full circle and went back to his natural size and weight.
Like the video, and it just shows the lies that continue to take place in almost all sports. And I have spoken to AO on a couple of occasions. The ped's plus rec drugs seemed to rule his life. Very sorry to see that happen to so many. But it is a choice that is made. Live the lie or be happy with who you are.
7:20 I kind of haven't really followed mma or kickboxing for some years now but I didn't even know Alistair fought Badr Hari a 3rd time Badr Hari looked big Alistair looked big Alistair was out there fighting a guy who is taller (at least a couple inches taller) and he gets Badr to touch the canvas, and then makes him drop onto all fours, and basically faceplants while doing it, and drops him to all fours again That was a pretty impressive outing for Alistair considering he's 42, didn't fight kickboxing for a decade and is fighting a guy that stayed in kickboxing the whole time Alistair is the older guy, fighting a taller opponent, and had a very decisive win I know you've covered Kali Muscle Surprizingly Alistair and Kali Muscle seem to be kind of saying the same things. Kali calls himself a fruitarian. Alistair in the other video you posted, was saying I'm a vegan, and fruits are good, fructose turns akaline. Kali might've started with proportionally more muscle than Overeem but Kali seems to have retained more muscle through all he's been doing and still looks quite strong compared to the average person. either way, I hope Alistair is doing well in life.
Alistair just confirmed what everybody thought. Look whats goin on in "Athletics" around the world. Bodybuilding, MMA, wrestling, armwrestling, cycling, swimming, soccer the list keeps goin. The drugs changed everything. What i dont understand is that those guys are allowed to compete, cyclers these days have legs bigger then there head. Why pay soccer players millions to support there drug abuse...i cant watch that stuff anymore and am ashamed of whats goin on. If you want to take the "good stuff" by all means do so, but dont involve others.

Wow. That's crazy good. I can't believe this happen. Great stuff from you
When the economy collapses from a emp and you cant get no Test you gonna be worthless 😂
can u explain what you mean with lifetime decision? what happens when u stop vs continue, looks and health wise
@@StealthTRDlmao reason why I got off
@AbletonLiveTechs how long was you on? Were you able to get your levels back to a decent range? I messed myself all up..i feel like im stuck on it
Love you Bravo. Great work my man.
“Caught” using steroids? Lol I KNEW he was on steroids as soon as I looked at him.

Hope your theory is right I grew up watching him and have been a fan for a while.
Hoping so. Crazy part is 60 pounds lost since March.
Not related but i watched the RX Muscle interview from days after Leo his passing and i want to say i respect you for your words and the way you stood up for Leo. You're a real one

Great work Jonny
Ubereem has been gassed to the gills for years. Him vs Brock he was fuuuuucking jacked.
UFC 14:1 (Test ratio for Overeem)
Reem is the legend,no matter what I wish him the best!
So glad he doesn't have cancer, you scared me JB. I really like Allistair, he really beat the shorts off Brock.
You’re not wrong Jon. I’m somebody that’s taken various compounds over the years. Test is by far the safest and easiest to maintain, other compounds not so much. Tren will make you Superman, but the come down from that when you finally decide to stop is a tough one.
I meant all steroids in general. I wasn't speaking only of testosterone. However, UA-cam doesn't like if you get deep in the compounds.
Been on tren-e 20 weeks , kind of looking forward to coming off but the lack of the 3-d delts is going to cause a bit of mental misery , but i’ve mentally prepped myself in advance , can always get them back in the future , “what goes up must come down”
Great video
What's the name of the music that starts at 5:20? Sounds like some sick 80's synthwave music. Great content, always loved Overeem!
Very excellent doc!!
look at his early fights, he's naturally skinny. Since he's not fighting anymore no real reason to walk around with all that muscle. The man is nice and respectful to everyone and one of the greatest fighters to walk the planet. Thank this man for some great fights!
Excellent Narration. ...
Great channel btw Jon, TY..
❤️
Theres more to life than being big. Im glad he's off the sauce. He gave it a good 10+ years. Time for the next chapter maybe
Alistair was thin when he began fighting people in my opinion he was pretty good then at his lighter weight. No news here
I’ve been watching Alistair since the pride days.
He is no longer competing, so he understands how our body works, so he got off of the roids and got healthy again.
I agree . Once you’re in you can’t leave. Even if you stayed the same age you’ll feel terrible! Now add age
In my mind that v neck continues off screen for infinity before coming to a point. Your the man
😂😂😂😂❤️
Well, you got rationalizing down pat. Nobody "needs" drugs. Everybody needs a reality check along with proper lifestyle choices.
His absolute prime was vs Badr Hari 1.
A F*cking monster
When he fought broc, it was peak ubereem. Rumor has it, people in the ring side started growing extra muscles.
There should be no drug testing for ped's in sports. It makes sports better for the athletes, promoters and fans. Win, win, win!
He definitly didnt stay at 250-260, he was down to 235-240 when he was echonomical Overeem
7:20 I kind of haven't really followed mma or kickboxing for some years now
but I didn't even know Alistair fought Badr Hari a 3rd time
Badr Hari looked big
Alistair looked big
Alistair was out there fighting a guy who is taller (at least a couple inches taller)
and he gets Badr to touch the canvas, and then makes him drop onto all fours, and basically faceplants while doing it, and drops him to all fours again
That was a pretty impressive outing for Alistair considering he's 42, didn't fight kickboxing for a decade and is fighting a guy that stayed in kickboxing the whole time
Alistair is the older guy, fighting a taller opponent, and had a very decisive win
I know you've covered Kali Muscle
Surprizingly Alistair and Kali Muscle seem to be kind of saying the same things. Kali calls himself a fruitarian. Alistair in the other video you posted, was saying I'm a vegan, and fruits are good, fructose turns akaline.
Kali might've started with proportionally more muscle than Overeem
but Kali seems to have retained more muscle through all he's been doing and still looks quite strong compared to the average person.
either way, I hope Alistair is doing well in life.
I started test at 43. Guys these days are juiced to the gills at 24yrs old and usually dead by 40.
I did test when i was 48. Not been on it since.
@SportsMusicCars been on for almost a year. Love it, I keep my dose reasonable. Alot of guys abuse it
@@matthowell8985 Any hair loss? Any gyno?
@@SportsMusicCars no, head hair same, body hair a little more. I take arimidex here and there to avoid the gyno.
He ist a fucking Legend with or without Streo
We must keep in mind that nothing lasts forever. Let's not forget this fact.
Respect !! Great video and I think people considering steroids should listen to this! Great job bro
