    I have been looking for this exact video for so long in an effort to understand what the cleanest muscle up looks like, Trawled through many of the vids you have, but obviously missed Ramil. Thank you bro, now for the hard work!!

    Well, I believe those guys have some flexible shoulders which most of us don't have so I think that plays a big role in it too.

      Thank you!! Yeah you can bulk if you're doing calisthenics. Being heavier makes skills harder, but the solution is just to get stronger looool

    Is it possible to do a slow muscle up without sticking out ur legs as a counterbalance

      @@AlacrityTW I'm not entirely sure. I've never seen it. It would be awesome if it was possible though

      ​@@AshtonFitnessit's physically impossible since u're always behind the bar so u need to counterbalance with ur legs in front. The only option is ring's MU going straight up. That said I think the most impressive MU is a butterfly press where u go through an iron cross transition. Gymnasts basically do that into planche called Balandin 3.

      As simple as it is:
      More lean, more muscled body + practice practice practice: Perfection (advanced/elite level on calisthenics)
      Yet I cannot perform a single muscle up, even though I can perform 15 consecutive pull ups (body fat percentage is a bit high at the moment). And I'm not focused on muscle ups yet because I know that if I can continue mastering my pull ups and dips, at some point, I'll achieve muscle ups as well (fully focused on gaining muscle + strength rn). So patience and consistency are the key, I think. Thanks for the contentful video, btw. Adios!
