A lot of barbers don’t understand when u tell them to follow the NATURAL line but they’re going for a sharper line which is why I stopped going and also they use to cut my mustache too small and I hate that that’s why I started learning how to cut myself and your video helped out a lot, thankfully my hair grows back fairly fast

Fax they always cut ur beard line to low to get it even like jus keep my natural cause wen that hair grow back it look nasty

    • @btw-3006
      @btw-3006 2 роки тому +4

It honestly doesn't make sense why many barbers don't just follow the natural line and simply make it look neat. It should be simple to do and looks MUCH better than making the beard cheek line lower. Plus, when they take it lower, it looks worse and the hairs end up taking time to grow back to that natural line. Some barbers are pretty good with beards. Not easy to find though and even some of the good ones sometimes mess up the cheek line on one of the sides of my faces so I end up having to wait weeks before it gets back to the way it was before.

I don't Even try to find a barber who fix My beatd ,i never find one, they always fuck My beard ,i have a huge beard a hate when they push the lines in the cheeks to low ,man when i get Home i trim My beard .i do My own beard ,,always.

@@jesusmalave3340 I used to HATE that!! That's why I started learning how to cut my own beard..a lot of them(barbers) don't know how to follow the NATURAL line of your beard, they're more in tuned to create sharper lines at the expense of talking your jaw line down too far.. Good thing I have fast growing facial hair but I was still mad

i had my first and last time having a barber do my beard, had a growth of around 4-5 months, the biggest i have ever had, and was actually well shaped and trimmed, but i tought, why not, i did my hair, its just more x amount of money, dont know how to explain in english, but basically he ended removing most of the beard, didnt make what i asked and the beard wasnt even the same on both sides so i had to get home and fix the right said so it looked the same length as the left one...

Why is it better to go with the grain as opposed to against the grain?

    • @jjaybeardedbarber

With the grain doesn’t take too much length. It takes away bulk but keep it dark. Going against the grain removes length

    DE blades I like are
    Gillette Permasharp
    Gillette Silver Blue
    Gillette Platinums
    Gillette Nacet
    Personna Red
    Astra Green (SP’s)
    Gillette SuperThins
    Bic Crome Platinum
I also use Shavettes and a “Kamasori” Style one that takes the feather artist club Blades. They’re really great for shaping up your beard to get them nice and crispy line ups.
I also use Real Straight Razors

Hey what’s up bro, no I really believe the derma roller does help. If you understand the science behind it it’ll make more answer. Do some research on it on Google and you’ll find the answers for yourself

If I usually only shave the neck and line up the cheek area do you recommend that single blade razor instead? I always use a traditional razor but they do wear out quick

      Defff get one
      The difference is huge
I cant even remember last time i bought razor blades/shaving gel
One regular bottle has lasted me more than 1 year and one box of 100 double blades has lasted me even more than a year
Compared to when i used tu buy reg gilletes, they were expensive and could use them like 4 times
