These are beautiful cards. The white on white idea is new to me and it is very pretty, especially with the cheesecloth. Great idea to use the stamens for antennae.
Thanks Susan! I go through stages of using cheesecloth and then forget about it LOL! The stamen idea was not mine, but I don't remember who to give credit to...aged brain dontcha know?1
Hi Julia, What pretty cards! I think you “knocked it out of the park” with these butterfly cards - they have texture, great colour and dimension for a really interesting card layout. Thanks for sharing your passion and experience with us. I so enjoy your videos! ❤️🇨🇦
Hi Mary Lynn I am glad you like this technique! I find it very enjoyable to make my own backgrounds and these are especially fun because they are quick and no 2 are alike! I am glad to share and it is reward enough that a few folks enjoy what I do so I will keep going. Hope you are feeling better every day and can get back to crafting soon!
Hi Julia, I was so excited to see what you did with the cardstock that you coloured using the baby wipe technique in your last video. It made beautiful backgrounds to the butterfly's, and as always the cards that you made are stunning. So happy that you used the BigZ butterfly die as well. It is nice having the two butterfly sizes where you can use them together or separate depending on your project. Now Julia I have seen you use this product before, and you used it again today... what is Wink of Stella (please forgive me if I spelt it wrong!) it sounds like a magic potion???!!! Is Wink of Stella like the Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pens? Can I say what devoted crafter doesn't get ink or glue on their hands..., if you don't you are not crafting! 😉 God's blessings, and have a wonderful day crafting. Love, and hugs, Gloria 😊🦋🦋🦋💕
Hi Gloria - I suspect the pens are the same outcome. I think perhaps Wink of Stella was the first but not sure that is a fact. 😃 Did you find the Metallic Nuvo drop video I posted on the other chat trail? If not here is the link for you ua-cam.com/video/Vcy5tj3CL2I/v-deo.html
@@SeniorSusieStamps Hi Julia. I tried to view the link above, but it says video is not available private use only. I then went back to the enamel dot video where you first posted the link, and the same message came up. 😞 Ha... that disappointed emoji face looks like an alien!!! I am so sorry to be a trouble to you with my Nuvo problems... sigh!
Hi Emmy - I use a 1 inch foam tape from Amazon (I can't find the 2 inch anymore) and mount it up on release paper - really any release paper will do. That way I can cut it without it gumming up my scissors. Here is the video link - ua-cam.com/video/QIVOeJ_t75c/v-deo.html
Here you go again Awesome Cards and Thanks
Glad you are enjoying the channel Rita! Thanks for watching!!
Julia, these are fabulous. Thanks so much. 😊🇨🇦
Glad you like them! I must confess I love making cards with butterflies and flowers. They are my largest collection categories for sure!
