Bellissimo basso e suono eccezionale, magistralmente suonato e ben valorizzato nelle sue caratteristiche più dettagliate. Ottimo video, complimenti! 🤩👏🙌
Thanks for sharing that killer sound! I recently upgraded my Sterling by Music Man Ray4 with a John East 2-band preamp, and this helped me dial in that 70's MM sound his preamp is known for. Great looking Sabre. The Ray4 is in no way a vintage instrument, but after 30 years of playing it turned me into a MM fan. I'm super happy with the sound of this inexpensive bass with a worthy upgrade.
Sound Overview of a 1979 Music Man Sabre 😃 • Bass was recorded with Logic Pro using a Focusrite sound card, no compression, no equalization, etc. Only on-board Sabre equalization was used. Better to use a headphone to be able to better appreciate the sound...

The coolest Bass ever made, not sure why they weren’t more popular. It’s a shame they don’t still make them.
I also bought Sabre Bass guitar November 1979.

I have the same - black + maple, also from 79. Killer bass.
Beautifull sound and playing, I also have a 79 with a white body, maple neck/ fingerboard. My pre amp's not working properly though.
Wow, that is in fantastic condition

Great sound ! what do you mean, when you write "High switch " ? it's active mode ?
@@francoisphong6024 Hi, bass is active. The high switch (the white one) emphasizes the high frequencies in a quiet, not cheeky way
So we have the pickup selector switch in the front and the high switch in the back, What does the middle switch do?
Phase inverter, and only on the neck pickup. The sound with phase inverted is quite unusable, in my opinion
what is the title of this song?
Hi, the title is "Smooth Jazz Groove BASS Backing Track (Em)" ... one of the thousand you can find on the net :)
