1987 ERNIE BALL MUSICMAN SABRE BASS - Andy's Vintage Guitars

Very nice instrument from the early days of Ernie ball , this 1987 Sabre Bass is a really versatile bass and the gorgeous Birdseye maple neck really takes it to a whole new level.
These are quite rare and they are scarce and harder to find tham the Pre Ernie Ball ones.

You would love my 88 Blue Burst. The neck is amazingly figured. That may be on the block for the right price. 2band EQ version! Love the tones and the bassline

I am probably the minority here - but I tend to be drawn to the Sabre tone than the Stingray - they both sound similar but these are just a bit less....clacky or something - haven't quite put my finger on it. Great playing as well
