Great explanation of what’s happening with the GVM of the rig and nothing wrong with leaf springs but where do you get the jackets and jumpers you are both wearing look fantastic would look great on me 👍🏻👍🏻

What weight can be legally towed with a 4449kg GVM,
My understanding is that that extra gvm comes off the GCM of the vehicle,

With the 4490kg upgrade what would the max tow capacity be if loaded up to full GVM
Gcm - gvm = Max tow gcm doesn't change

So once it’s GVM upgrade does the car enter a level of emissions tier where it will no longer require a DPF? It is now classed as a larger vehicle yet it is so much more economical than large big 4x4 or American pick ups. That it could pass no longer requires DPF?

Is it possible to pair a 4495 gvm with portal axles on a 79? Will have the 300 extension.
Hi Dee, it would most likely depend on which has the SSM. The portals or the 4495kg GVM. I can request of the team who are more familiar with the process chat to you if you like? - Adam
@@dirtymuddyweekends I believe the 4495 has to have the SSM was wondering if it's possible to get them paired under the same SSM tag if installed by the one company, at the same time. If that's even possible? Car will be pre-rego.
