  • I needed to make a tube rolling machine so I could make spiral handrails, this is the story of how I made the machine and the problems on the way. I will use this machine for making the handrail down my well soon hopefully as well.

Very interesting watch.. I hand make, vintage exhausts pipes for some of the bikes that Guy races against.. and I wouldn't know where to start with bending a spiral.. ive had to go and watch that 'Accent' video that is mentioned above.. Very Interesting. 😊👍 Good luck with your tunnel.. Ben Hardman, Raysons Exhausts

Thanks Ben, It’s probably not the correct way that I have done it but I only need to do 2 staircases and 1 has worked so far 😀 Guy went down my tunnel yesterday, think he liked it 😂

Hi Just found your channel. Watching the tunnel videos where you are strugleing to lift your tubs of soil out though your well shaft I was thinking you needed to buld an over head Gantry to winch the tubs round easier and two hours later there you are building a hand rail which could be mounted over head to use as said gantry. could you do a video on the well from whit I gather is you found the well while leveling the ground and it's from some sort of WWII militery camp we need more info on it. also a heads up on the crash bill of £15 + grand. keep up with the vids Thanks.

There is a video showing some pictures of making my bunker but I don’t have any videos I’m afraid, if you look back through my videos you will find it, yes you are right I could use the handrail as a guide 😀

Good Morning @@Tornado_Dave Thanks for the reply. I think I've watched 15/16 videos so far inclueding the tunnel playlist so I'm slowly working through them I only came across your channel yesterday after noon. I'm into militery history and lived in England for 24 years abd found it intresting to walk around the old disused camps and pillboxes, I come from Guernsey in the Channel Islands so the Islands are coverd with old fortifctions and of course the German Bunkers from the Occupation.

That didn't look very successful. Watch the 3rd video in the spiral series by Accent Ironwork, you need a machine rigid enough to hit the roll & the helix in 1 pass. Clever way to make your wheels, but the axles are nowhere near large enough

You are a knob buddy it worked and the stairs are now installed. Always has to be someone in the comments who want to tell people everything wrong with what they are doing. They say the world needs all sorts of people, you make me question that statement.

@BackyardBunkerBuilder you may have a point there, I do sound like a bit of a nob in that comment! 😂
I was trying to be constructive, only because I've done this and I know the frustration when you waste all that material. I guess it's hard to give someone advice without sounding like a know-it-all. Sorry if I upset you.
