So glad you are cancer free Nate! I went through this with a mole on my chest and did it all by myself, which was tough!! Luckily after the second "dig out" everything came back negative for cancer :) And I actually had my annual full body check today at the dermatologist!!!

It's Sunday evening right now in India and I was out with my friends when the UA-cam notification popped up. I am going to be honest, I teared up. It was tough to explain my friends why I am all sad for two UA-camrs half a world away. K&N, you've touched and inspired many lives that you guys don't know about. I wish Nate a very speedy recovery and Kara is a champion. The way you both handled this is incredible. More power to both of you and everyone who is championing this battle 🖤

This was a hard one to watch. We just started the cancer journey and it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It’s one of those things that you hear about so much that it almost becomes routine. But then when it happens to you it takes the breath right out of your soul. I’m so glad to see you are cancer free. Your videos make me forget for a bit. If you see this, maybe send some of your good fortune vibes our way. ❤️
I discovered this channel last year as I was recovering from treatment for throat cancer. Cancer is treatable and it's something that you can survive. I'm glad for the transparency about your condition and know that you're not alone. I had my yearly CT scan recently and I'm blessed to still be cancer-free. I will have to have follow-ups for the rest of my life, but it's a small price to pay for being able to live. Stay strong, and keep going.

Thank you so much for sharing this story,I found your channel becauseI was looking for life after the death of my partner of 18 years,she had stage 4 cancer. I so related to how it feels to have to wait for THAT phone call and how scary it is to watch someone you love go through something serious. You all are inspiring me to go on with my life so much. Like you our lives together were based on always going on the next adventure and she would want me to keep going on the next adventure even though she isn’t here.
Thank you for sharing, I found that when I was obviously going through cancer/chemo, people would try to show love and support by telling me their personal stories and usually they were sad stories. What I wanted/ needed to hear were positive stories like this. The second your diagnosed you know the odds are not in your favor and survival stories can give you that little bit of hope. People please don't walk up to someone with any obvious issue and tell them about someone who died from their same issue, try to find a positive thing to share.
This video was wonderful yet terrifying at the same time. I’ve had a weird “scab” on my head too for a few years. I haven’t thought anything of it until right now. I’m now (tomorrow because it’s Sunday) going to make an appointment to have it checked. Thank you both and I’m so glad Nate is ok.

Yep, if you’re dealt the skin cancer card, BCC is definitely the one you want. Really odd for his age and in that spot though. Usually they are on the ears/face/nose/shoulders/upper back.

Thank you for sharing your story. I came across this video today as I am recovering from MOHS surgery for a squamous cell carcinoma lesion removed yesterday. It is so important to remind everyone of the risk of skin cancer, no matter your age. Glad you are okay and you were able to have the entire lesion removed. Stay well!

I’m a malignant melanoma survivor and one of the things that really upsets me is when people say, “It’s *just* skin cancer..’ Skin cancer kills people. A dear friend lost her fight with melanoma last year. A common sign of skin cancer is when a sore doesn’t heal, moles that are itchy or changing colors. Black color in a mole is a definite sign to get it checked by a dermatologist who specializes in skin cancers, not all of them do. Lastly, Nate, I’m thankful you got clean margins. God bless y’all!
Honestly I felt like I was watching a family member on the screen, my heart just dropped. I'm so glad you are showing the other side of cancer, and how people do become cancer free. Very emotional and greatful. Live every day to its fullest!

I started watching your vlogs when we took our babies travelling trough south east Asia 5 years ago, we arrived in Nz to find out I had brain cancer, I have now had 3 craniotomies and I had to be awake for the third One 6 months ago. Thank you for sharing this. I lost a friend from my youth last month to melanoma. She fought it for almost 4 years and it had spread throughout her entire body. Please take care of yourself and hold your loved ones close.
So happy Nate is doing well and is cancer-free! My dad was diagnosed on his birthday in 2019. It has been the ultimate rollercoaster. So i completely understand where Kara is coming from and having to watch someone find out and go through the emotional journey that cancer brings. Best of luck to both of you!
