Wheel Spacers and DIY Painted Brake Calipers Done for 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line.

More getting done to make my Tiguan mine. Doing spacers and painting the calipers at the same time is easy. Anyone can paint them yourself if you follow how I did it. The paint comes in many colors at any Autoparts stores.

If you ever need new wheels, Atlas wheels have a different offset. Get some atlas and they automatically come out a little bit more, no spacers needed. That’s what I did

This seems like a good way to do it (brushing). I always wanted to do mine with a can spray, but it worried me with overspray and just being compotent with aiming it. How has it held up and did you also paint the backside of the calipers (so all-around) ?

You should have put primer beforehand and top coat afterwards for it to last longer and not chip

The Primer might have been better idea? I will have to wait and see. So far 5000 miles and ok

Hi Jason, I have a 2018 tiguan sel premium r line. I recently bought some snow tires on steel rims but unfortunately the front ones run on the brake callipers. Would it be ok for me to use wheel spacers?

For me no. It does widen the and that offers some extra stability. Some add them to clear big brakes

He doesn’t answer our questions when I / we ask him where he got those stuff from , so what is the purpose of showing to anyone for, he doesn’t put a link like most of those who showed how to do and where to buy the stuffs he got from ? I found everything except the skins. Looked on badgeskins but not sure which ones fit with the new design. Also I would love to put new speakers but am a complete novice to moding cars at all, and he skipped over the whole taking door apart thing. I have same car but in silver and am psyched on these vids, but they aren't for newbies. I'm trying to learn and catchup cause I can't wait to see what else he does.
