Well ! You are very kind after some of these comments…..
Of course you wash your hair ( really people )
All so I’m sure in the privacy of your home and behind closed doors your husband loves your hair ( why ? because it’s just for him , not something to be shared with others.
Blessings to you and your family 💕

ChayaSarah, ignore the ignorant. The jackasses in the comment section slamming your appearance are obviously jealous. Your makeup looks lovely! They apparently foolishly believe in some puritanical concept of modesty, and they don’t understand a Jewish woman is allowed to be beautiful.
Don’t worry about the idiots, because you know where your heart is! These fools who are so critical of your appearance are just ugly on the inside, and there’s nothing that’ll fix them. You go on being you! 💄💅👸

He can just turn and face the other direction. You should be modest because as a human you should feel uncomfortable walking around naked like adam and chavah did. Erva also applies to men and your husband also can not walk around naked or say blessings infront of his nakedness.

I understand that the Law of G_D through Moses forbids mixing meat and dairy together. But, Can you mix milk and eggs for an omelette? Or put cheese on top of a hamburger? Or have pepperoni and cheese pizza? Also back to my last question if a gentile converts then could a Jewish female marry him? Does messianic Judaism count? Sorry I know it’s a lot of questions…

    • @Crystal11Skulls
      @Crystal11Skulls Рік тому

No milk and meat can mix. So no cheese on a burger. No milk and eggs. No pepperoni on a cheese pizza.
A convert (as long as they converted to Orthodox Judaism through a Beit Din) is considered an Orthodox Jew and thus can marry within the community.
Messianic Judaism DOES NOT count. No Orthodox Jew would marry a messianic.

It takes years to convert to Judaism and yes of course but you have not much chance of being accepted in Israel than say the US of converting most converts fall into the progressive branch of Judaism the easiest branch, but i know of convert rabbis who are married to 100% jewish ladies and live completely fullfilled as jews, very onfusing i know but i hope this helps.

Awesome questions! Firstly, to the point of conversion, it depends on which branch you converted. So yes, in Israel they usually only consider Orthodox conversions. This is a much deeper and longer process. All other Jews (that are not messianic) believe that we are still waiting for mashiach (messiah). If a messianic Jew has a Jewish mother, than in my eyes, they are still Jewish. I would recommend asking a Rabbi for more details about conversion and marriage. As far as marriage and the woman, again depends on the branch she is a part of. Now to the Kosher Laws. First off, pepperoni is made of pork, and all pork is unkosher. Cheeseburgers are also not Kosher because of mixing meat and dairy. Yes, you can mix eggs with dairy, but both the dairy and the eggs themselves need to be Kosher. So yes, if you get kosher eggs and kosher cheese, enjoy your omelettes! Also, depending on the branch of Judaism, certain sects will have more strict Kosher laws, but all follow the basics: don't mix meat and dairy (separate utensils), no shellfish, no pork, and fruit and vegetables cannot be touched by bugs. Any land animal that has split hooves and chews its cud is fine to eat.

This Sect of Judaism has a lot more in Common with Islam. Because of the Hijab is a lot like that because it is to Lower the Men’s Gaze. Because in the Quran, A Man Shall Lower his Gaze, and a man shall not look at a woman immodesty. A man shall look away. And shall not glare. Islam Teaches men to respect woman and a man shall not touch the woman.

@aisabelsilva9815 - How is the use of cosmetics immodest?
Do you understand what the word _modesty_ means? It doesn’t appear you do. While the term has a few different accepted meanings, the one we’re discussing now is the one that applies to appearance. In that case, it is an appearance or behavior that is intended to avoid impropriety or indecency.
Wearing cosmetics does not imply impropriety or indecency by the wearer unless they’re writing profane symbols or terms with the cosmetics on their face as a billboard-esque design. Otherwise, no… there is nothing immodest about cosmetics.
      Nice try, though.

    • @sisterspooky

@@mateaknez8252- Considering that the term modesty (in this context) refers solely to someone wearing something that would constitute a behavior, manner, or appearance that would avoid indecency or impropriety, there’s nothing about her cosmetics that fits the criterion for immodesty.
You may adhere to a puritanical concept of ‘modesty’, but she is not immodest in her appearance. Jewish women are allowed to wear makeup and be beautiful, I’m sorry to disappoint you. The tichel is a crown to adorn the head of the married Jewish woman, and it can be as simplistic or fancy as she desires it to be.
You have a very outdated concept of modesty if her cosmetics are problematic for you. Join us in 2023!
