Omg nightly is looking amazing! He has filled out so beautifully 😍 handsome dude. This is my kind of instructor, i teach and ride the same she explained to you. Its amazing how so many get confused with no leg on lol. Im a big believer of horses learn well with pressure and release, and horses work better when they have to work out how to use themselves properly without relying on the rider. We should be there to guide them and correct them but other than that leave them alone. I call it, give a message (leg on) no message (leg off), simply because im sending a message to my horse of this is what i would like you to do, no message is clearly nothing there and a reward until he needs a message again. Its also important that when you are giving a message that they are off your leg, and your lucky because tb are usually sensitive to the leg lol. I think you will learn alot from this session, you both certainly come away doing a fantastic job! And hopefully you have found something that works for you both. Great job with nightly, he is honestly looking fabulous, take care until next time! ❤

Hi, I’m planning to do the exact same course in around a month, I live five minutes from Solihull and used to work there on the RMF equine course which I have recently done. It’s perfect for getting my girl her confidence in jumping which we have just started doing recently and she is flying through and seems to love it, I’m hoping to gradually build up the levels slowly and do some basic competitions in a few months. Your video was exactly what I needed see to give me a insight of the course and someone doing the course close to my level so thank you so much for that it’s been awesome. Come back to Solihull again sometime it’s an amazing venue.

Knightley and my horse are similar types of horse. So I find your videos to be more interesting because of that. Well sat when the flag fell down.

@@TheVocalEquestrian absolutely, never thought about it like that, I was always told "keep your leg on!!" which never seemed to help much!

So glad i found this video. The entire time I was like what a superstar attitude of willingness and calm in Knightly. I kept saying the entire "what a super, honest horse! What a good boy." Im not sure about your riding ability, but this guy seems like a solid citizen who is taking amazing care of both of you!!! GOOD JOB!
And funny, im getting the same on my HOT ottb...get my leg off and he goes forward happily. Sad we aren't taught that in the beginning!
